Adjustment Layers not working properly -PP 7.00.0 CC / Mac 10.8.4

I cant keyframe a blur on an adjustment layer in Premiere Pro CC 7.00.0 on a mac 10.8.4.
This seems to be an issue/bug.
the 'highest' keyframe setting seems to take precidence over the opther keyframes, (ignoring the other keyframes..)
when will this be fixed.. ??

Adjustment Layers not working in Actions CC

I am attempting to use the actions panel to edit a large number of product shots quickly. I have disabled the generator, which was a possible solution I saw in another post, closed my photoshop, opened it up again and tried it on a new file. None of my adjustment layers do what I set them out to do, but they do show up as layers in my layers panel. The only part of the action that works is my smart sharpen. I created the actions in CC and I don't know where to go next.

Now that you disabled the generator plugin, you probably need to record the actions again, because having the generator plugin enabled, plays havoc on
recording actions. (some stuff is not properly recorded with the generator plugin enabled)

Adjustment layers not working in CMYK MODE?

Hi Guys
I have a photoshop issue and was wondering if you could shed any light on the matter?
When ever i set my document to CMYK mode, some of my adjustment layers become 'un-selectable' such as the Black & White, vibrance and the exposure adjustment layers?
They work fine in RGB mode but was curious if this was common place?
Any information woould be greatful

I am working in cmyk as the poster i am producing is for print, so the document is put into that mode for that purpose.
If you are using/combining photographic images this approach may not be ideal and incurs the risk of overshooting the TAC.
On the other hand if you have lots of text, fine lines or other elements that are supposed to, for example, print in pure black working in CMYK would be called for.

Editing Adjustment Layers Not Working

Using Photoshop Elements 10. I am unable to edit an Adjustment Layer. When I doubleclick the layer thumbnail or click layer content options, nothing happens. This is the case with new files as well as files that had adjustment layers created with Photoshop Elements 6. Fill layers work ok, but adjustment layers such as Levels and Hue/Saturation won't work....need help desperately.

Good evening. I am using PSE 11 Mac version and I am having the same issue as the original post. I am unable to edit adjustment layers. No problem with fill layers.
I have tried your solution, which worked on deleting the file, but PSE 11 is still not letting me do anything with the adjustment layers.
As an FYI, I am also unable to select any of the "Window" menu selections, such as "Actions", "Histogram", etc. I am attaching a quick screen capture to show the menue that I am talking about.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

Effects on adjustment layers not working in PPro CC 2014

I am trying to use an adjustment layer to add an effect to my entire project (about 3 minutes). When I add the adjustment layer and the effect, nothing happens. I can apply the effect directly to a clip and it works fine.
Am I missing something or is this a bug?

Mmmm.. maybe there is indeed an issue with the adjustment layer, I have a project that I opened up and wherever I have adjustment layers, they all show as black image...if I check off the effect, then i see my footage underneath.. but as soon as I add an effect (in this case, brightness and contrast + Tint), then it goes to black... changing the blend mode doesn't do anything either...

Adjustment Layers Not Transferring Properly into PR Pro CS4

Hi all,
Was hoping to get some help with a AE -> PR issue. I'm working in After Effects and Premiere Pro CS4. I have an AE project that has some footage with adjustment layers and some solids that I go ahead and save as a Premiere project. When I open up the saved PR project in Premiere and load the sequence, my adjustment layers and solids have all turned into a block of pure white and no longer retain any of the effects applied to them in AE.
Any ideas what may be casuing this and how it might be fixed? Thanks very much.

The code to import a project from After Effects into Premiere Pro (or vice versa) is the exact same code as that used to copy and paste between the two programs. Here's a page that describes exactly what comes across:
"Copy between After Effects and Premiere Pro"
Here's the important sentence:
"You cannot copy shape, text, camera, light, or adjustment layers to Adobe Premiere Pro."

Adjustment layers not working in CS4

I just installed Photoshop CS4 and I can create an adjustment layer, but the editing box for that particular adjustment layer does not come up. It works just fine in CS3 on the same computer. I have a G5 (non Intel). Any ideas why this is not working?

Selections & Levels Adjustment Layer Not Working Properly

Hello,
I'm experiencing something that I've never encountered before. I’ve used the selection function and levels adjustment layer hundreds of times and I’ve never ever seen this...
When I make a selection (in this case the signatures on the attached image) and then darken that selection using a levels adjustment layer, some of the surrounding information is changing/darkening as well. This should not be happening.
What's the fix?

The solution I already gave you is valid, and works to modify your existing method, depending on your Quick Mask setting. Rather than reject it out of hand, I suggest you use it.
The problem is that I've performed this procedure hundreds of times before, using the very same steps below, and this particular oddity has never happened, until now.
If you have selected different Eyedropper settings (Range for example), or the image has even slightly different tonal or colour characteristics to normal, your method will not always work. Your method is too crude. In particular the need to alter the selection using the Marquee selection tool, suggests that some knowledge is required.
There are better methods that will produce perfect masks - using Calculations, channel operations, or even the new Refine Edge command. You probably don't even need selections at all to do this, because Curves and Advanced Blending Options could be used instead.

Layers not working properly.

I have never had this issue before.
I brought a photo I took into Photoshop. I did some quick editing with it, including removing the back ground. Then I opened up a new file and brought this photo into that new canvas. The photo just didnt show up. It was invisible in the canvas. However, I can see it in the layers panel. I can also transform it, and apply basic blending options like color overlay and drop shadows, but the image itself will not show up.
I brought it in initally to put it on a plain white background. I made that layer just to see if it would work and that is working. Is my photo possibly corrupted? Or could there be a setting that I don't know about and I could have accidentally placed on my photo?

Edit adjustment layers not working

When I add an adjustment layer, it adds the layer but I am unable to make any changes and there is no 'pop-up' box. I can rename the layer by clicking it but it doesn't open the editing box. It worked before the last Photoshop update 5 days ago.

Adjustment layers not working CC

Hi all,
Maybe I am doing something wrong, but I am trying to get a solid adjustment fill layer to clip to the layer below it. I can get the little bent arrow and the layer it is clipped to is underlined, but the screen is still filled solid with the fill layer's color. It is not acting as expected and masking to the black lines of a black and white drawing, just filling the whole canvas with color.
I have tried resetting my pref files and tried it on another computer. I am fairly certain the issue is an ID10T error on my part.

There is no transparency/ mask channel anywhere in your setup, so I'm not sure what you expect. Linking a solid background layer with another layer - umm - leaves it solid at 100% opacity. You realyl need to watch a tutorial on how to do this the right way...

Clip inspector in imovie not working properly - when I select a picture (in project library) - and select clip adjustment it tells me that I need to select one or more clips to view Inspector tools and when I select a movie clip and then click on audio adjustments the audio adjustment appears as a speaker icon and I don't know how to get to the various audio options? It was working fine one minute and then I seemed to lose the functionality. Also editing a photo in a photo or getting rid of ken burns effect etc does not seem to work. help

Can anyone shed any light on this as I am having the same problem? One minute it works fine, the next you get the error message above.

Image display control scrolling does not work properly when zoomed in

I am using a ROI on an image in the image display control. When zooming into the image to fine-adjust the positioning of the ROI, the image scrolling does not work properly. As far as I understand, the image should scroll automatically when the ROI is leaving the visible area. However, the scrolling behaviour seems to depend on the origin of the Labview panel, not the origin of the image display control, which might require to move the ROI way out of the visible area before the scrolling takes place. In other words: the coordinate system of the image display control is shifted with respect to the true visible image area, depending on where you place it on the front panel. As a consequence, when clicking on a ROI which is in the visible area, but is outside of what Labview thinks is the visible area, it might immediately jump to the left border of the image, making the positioning of the ROI really difficult.
Has anyone noticed this behaviour, and what would be a reliable solution to avoid this?

Hello,
no, I am not talking about the tools palette. Just place an image control with some image in it on a new VI front panel. Then, use the rectangle from the tools and select a ROI in the image. If you zoom in (using the magnification glass), and then grab the ROI and move it around, the image scroll with the ROI. So far, so good. If you now place the image control elsewhere on the panel, or add new control above it, resize the panel, etc. , this scrolling when moving the ROI will not work correctly if the origin (0,0) of the panel is far away from the image control.
I have attached a VI for simplicity (although there is hardly any code in it).
If you make a ROI and try to move it down, you will notice that scrolling starts if you move the mouse out to about 10cms below the image (depens on your screen, of course). After that, if you click on the ROI, the scroll bars and ROI might jump up to the upper end of the image. Imagine how annoying this is if you try to finely adjust the ROI position.
I think it is a bug in the implementation of the image display control.

Adobe Photoshop Touch is not working properly on my Samsung Tablet

I just recently downloaded the Photoshop Touch App to my Samsung Tablet. The program will open and some of the tools will work, but MOST tools will not! I have attempted to clear the cashe, uninstall, and then reinstall the program. The problem persists. When will Adobe provide an update with repairs so that I can actually use the App I just bought?

We have followed instructions to uninstall and and then reinstall the Photoshop Touch program onto the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.
It is still not working properly.
NONE of the Fx's are working. (about 26 effects!)
The Fx's under the menu headings of... "Basic" , "Stylize" , "Artistic", or "Photo" do not work!
Under the heading of "Adjustments"... only Invert, and Black and White work... NONE of the others do!
The items that do work are... the Camera Layers, Layers and Selections, Image Blending, and the Basic FX called Gaussian Blur.
Croping image size, text, etc. under the & symbol also work.
So, as you can see....at this point we have purchased an App that is practically USELESS even tho the Google Play Store said that it was compatible with our device.
Please Advise, or Create a proper Update for this device,

JSP-Editor not working properly

Hi everybody,
I am working with ISA5.0 and NWDI. I have checked out the Web-Module Project crm/isa/web/b2b.
Now I would like to modify JSP-Files. Unfortonately the JSP-Editor is not working properly.
The JSP-Editor cannot resolve references to Tag-Libraries like
<%@ taglib uri="/isa" prefix="isa" %>
Furthermore I get Errors with JSP-Includes
<%@ include file="checksession.inc" %>
The JSP-Editor does not show any other compile errors until the above mentioned errors are resolved.
So the JSP-Editor does not help with compile errors.
I have tried to use Lomboz instead, but due to the modularization in ISA5.0 and NWDI (ie the Taglibraries are defined in a separate module) I did not get it to work either.
Does anybody have experience on how to get the JSP editor to work properly?

Highlite the clip in the timeline, control click on it and choose "send to soundtrack as an audio file project" in the pop up menu. Don't do an "open with editor". This should work.
If it doesn't and it's just the one clip, you could launch Soundtrack and then open that clip as an audio project . . . don't do a open with editor, just open it directly. Make your adjustment and save over writing the file with the new audio. You may want to copy the clip first as a backup. When you open your FCP project, you'll have to re-link the clip. Once you do it will show up with the new sound.
