  • Can't log onto Admin console, Can't pay overdue invoice, website deactivated - No Support possible!!

    Hello there!
As the title says, I basically can't do anything right now, and BC support hasn't really been able to help me when I asked about this previously here in the forums (when the website was still active, which it now no longer is). When trying to log onto the Admin console all I get is: "ERROR: This site is currently unavailable. For more information please contact: (My name)." And yes, I'm the administrator. I created the website using Adobe Muse and published it using that. There has been no other party involved, except for Godaddy.com where I bought the domain.
Unlike I've been told it should be, I do not get and never got a form to fill in my payment details upon logging onto the admin console.
I also get and did get that exact above error message when trying to submit a support ticket, so the only place I've been able to ask at is here.
As I mentioned in my earlier post, I wasn't able to correct my credit card details when the card was no longer valid because I was on vacation, and somehow didn't manage to access that menu on mobile. A week later, I got another email, telling me that all admin services have been disabled until I pay the invoice. At this point I started getting the above error message. Now, another few weeks later the website itself has been deactivated - I still can't pay the invoice.
As I'm not very used to doing the whole setup of a website, I definitely don't want to spend that time again, but simply just want to pay the overdue invoice!
    Help is very much appreciated!
    -Alex W.

    Hi Alex,
Please submit a ticket via the following form and we will escalate it to the accounts team: http://www.businesscatalyst.com/contact
However, I can see that the site you may be referring to is set to bill the partner directly. Therefore you will need to log into the admin console of this site as the partner user, and you will then be prompted with a payment form to pay the outstanding invoice. It appears that [email protected] is the partner user assigned to this portal, so please try logging in as that user.
    Thanks.

  • Exception in Admin Console: Can't view Enterprise applications

    Hi all,
I am getting this exception very frequently, If any one knows the solution please help me.
    here is the exception
A "com.sun.enterprise.tools.guiframework.exception.FrameworkError" was caught. The message from the exception: "Unable to get View for ViewDescriptor 'enterpriseApplications'"
The root cause is "com.sun.enterprise.admin.common.exception.MBeanConfigException: Component not registered"

I was getting this too. After a vigorous deploy/debug cycle of a portlet in Java Studio Creator 2 (which uses SAS-PE8.1), the pluto web app gave up the ghost, resulting in the MBean related errors:
A "com.sun.enterprise.tools.guiframework.exception.FrameworkError" was caught. The message from the exception: "Unable to get View for ViewDescriptor 'enterpriseApplications'"
The root cause is "com.sun.enterprise.admin.common.exception.MBeanConfigException: Component not registered"
Restarting JSC2, the app server and redeploying failed to resolve the problem.
In asconsole (a.k.a asadmin), selecting the "Web Application" branch directly threw the error. Selecting this branch would ordinarily show a summary of deployed apps. One of the apps was causing this issue. To identify the app, expand the "Web Applications" branch to reveal all of the web apps currently deployed. This should not cause the error. Selecting each app in turn will either show a summary for the web app or show the MBean error. If you get the MBean error, then it is this web app deployment which is causing the problems. For me, all web apps bar the "pluto" app were behaving normally. Selecting pluto gave the MBean exception.
Since redeploying the app from JSC2 did not help and the only screen that I can use to undeploy from asconsole wasn't working; the only way I could resolve this was by manually removing the offending web from the app server, in my case this was pluto:
Edit the config/domain.xml for your domain and remove the <web-module> entry for the offending web app:
    <web-module availability-enabled="false" context-root="/pluto" directory-deployed="true" enabled="true" location="C:/Documents and Settings/chrisl/.Creator/2_0/portletcontainer" name="pluto" object-type="user"/>
I deleted this line, saved the file and restarted the app server. Service resumed as normal. However, the error does recur quite frequently.

  • Admin Console should not be accessible from the Internet

    Hi!
I am using WebLogic 6.1 and by default the Admin Console runs under the same port
like the deployed web applications. As a matter of fact, the Admin Console can
been seen from the Internet! :(
Is there a way to start the Admin Console with another port? Or is there any other
solution that the Admin Console is only accessible from the Intranet but not from
    the Internet??
I couldn't find anything in the documentation related to this topic.
    Thanks in advance.
    Markus Richter

One solution I use is to place an Apache WebServer in front of the BEA HTTP server and use the Apache/WebLogic module to proxy requests.
Apache is much more configurable, robust etc etc as a webserver. If you configure a specific Apache Virtual Server for connections to your Weblogic server you can use Apache ACL's to control access to the console via specific IP addresses only.
The ACL in the Apache Virtual Server configuration could like something like this.
    <Location /console/>
    order deny,allow
    deny from all
    allow from 10.0.0.1
    </Location>
    hope this helps.

  • Can't login to Admin Console after period not using

    Hi,
We have portal 3.0P4 on Solaris 8 (gateway and server seperate systems) and have always the same problem.
After a time, not using the admin console, we're not allowed to login anymore.
We get the following message: Your Admininstration Console login session has timed out.
The auth log says: Login Failed Unix initialization LoginExceptionI/O exception trying to
connect to Unix service UserDomain /<domeinname>
Only after restarting the portal, it works fine again. This is not a solution with a production system!
    Can someone help ...
    Thanks in advance.
    Greetings,
    Miranda Heesbeen

DId you try restarting just the Unix auth helper (doUnix) process instead of the whole ipsserver?
Sometimes even if the process is running it has a problem.

  • Can not login the WebCenter Discussions Admin console

    Hi
I have installed the oracle web center 11.1.1.2 and 11.1.1.3 patch and have the weblgic admin/wls_services server running successfully. after create two new users in the embed weblogic i can login the webcenter discussion. The two test users can post a announcement but have no right to create a new forum and post new thread. So i want to login the ADMIN console by host:port/owc_discussions/admin but denied, including the weblogic default admin user(weblogic/weblogic1). in the webcenter administation guide, it says:
"By default, Oracle WebCenter Discussions is configured to use the embedded LDAP identity store: all users in the embedded LDAP store can log on to the discussions server, and all users in the Administrators group have administrative privileges on Oracle WebCenter Discussions." in 12.2.2 Discussions Server - Security Considerations
also tried to change the configuration file for Jive(jive_startup.xml), setting the setup element to false which mentioned in another threads in this forum and still not work.
Currently all i want to do is login the discussion as admin and create a forum, say 'Generic' and register the connection in Jdevoper and create a custom app for posting new thread.
    Hope someone can help.

I have resolved this issue by re-build the installation

  • Why can't  weblogic login discussion admin console?

I create webcenter domain and startup successfully. I wanna change some jive properties at jive console(http://host:port/owc_discussions/admin), but i can't login. I can login in ( http://host:port/owc_discussions ). Why?
    Any comments are welcome!

The jive tables created by RCU can't be reused by webcenter domain.

  • AMS 5.0 on Amazon: Fresh install can't get past admin console login

    Hi there,
I created a fresh Adobe Media Server 5.0 instance on Amazon EC2 AWS and followed all instructions in this document:
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashmediaserver/configadmin/WS5b3ccc516d4fbf351e63e3d119f2926 bcf-7ff4.html
    - I added the admin user to ams.ini
    - created a user password using ./amsadmin -console -user <username>
    - opened all necesarry ports.
    - tested port 1111 using telnet successfully
    However I still can't login.
I did the ping test using:
    <ipaddress>:1111/admin/ping?auser=username&apswd=password
when using an invalid username/password this returns:
    <result><level>error</level><code>NetConnection.Connect.Rejected</code><description>Admin user requires valid username and password.</description><timestamp>Sun Nov 18 15:02:59 2012</timestamp></result>
but with a valid username/password combination it just redirects the page endlessly until the browser stops.
Is there anybody out there who can give me a hint?

Little strange. But just want to be clear - you tried http command and with valid username/password you are not able to run "ping" http command - right?  Can you juct check your Admin Server configuration and restart Admin server once and see if it helps. Also do you see any errors in logs - say master, admin logs?

  • Can't login to Messaging Server Admin Console

I've just installed DS5.2 and MSG5.2 on a 480R. After starting all the appropriate servers I am able to use the Admin Consoles on the 480R for both DS and MSG.
But if I try to login to the MSG server's admin console remotely from my Win XP laptop I get an error "Cannot logon because of an incorrect user id, incorrect password or directory problem. I'm using the same settings (ports, user id cn=Directory Manager, password) as i did on the 480R. I even tried Sun ONE 5.2 admin console as well as the older Netscape 4.5 console. I don't have a problem when logging into the DS5.2 admin server via the console on my WinXP laptop.
    Any ideas ?

Never mind. I hope the problem.
The admin server was configured to only allow connections to it from the local machine. I added my laptop's IP to the allowed hosts and everything's working just fine now.
    Thanks anyways.

  • Sun AS 9.1 UR2 Admin console doesn't ask for login name and password

I have an instance of Sun AS 9.1 installed on Linux, that has broken admin console. The console never asks for login and password, just lets the user to do anything.
I didn't set it up and I've never seen that. There's Policy Agent installed because of some apps and maybe this is causing the problem. But I don't know. I just need to secure the console (anyhow).
Any ideas what could happen? Any hints where to look, what libs could be overwritten by bad version or something?

This is probably the only thread that relates to the problem i am facing.
I have encountered the same issue whereby the user ID shows up empty.
Accessing the console without having the need to enter credentials is causing me some serious security issues.
Martin777, have you found any ways to secure your console?
    Thanks.
