Admin Console not logging in on AWS

This topic has come up a lot and I've ready through many of them, but none of them seem to have my exact issue.  I recently setup Flash Media Server on Amazon EC2 and things are going well so far; however the admin console wont login.  I've set the username, password, and port in the config file and opened that port, among others, in the security group.  I've then restarted both FMS and admin server multiple times.
When I try to login I get no errors.  Nothing happens at all.  When I open FireBug and/or Fiddler2 to watch the communication, I'm not seeing a single thing happen.  Clicking "Login" submits no requests at all.  Do I just not understand how FMS works?  I would assume some sort of request would need to be made.
Eric

Does firebug/fiddler captures "rtmp" traffic - i suppose not and hence you are not catching anything.
Are you able to telnet to <serverip>:1111 from your machine(which you are using to login) ?
Also did you check Admin logs if there is anything logged and also checked if Admin server started successfully.

  • Hi Team Admin console not connecting

    Hi Team,
I am using sccm2007 sp2 in one of the primary. I am unable to connect admin console getting attached error. Actually one of my team met did the repository rename.. Is it cause issue? if yes. how can i back the track

Previously i able to connect the sccm primary console. now i am not. I checked permission vise everything good..
    So that i capture my adminui.log ..
one of my team met done the repository rename in primary server. My question that's y i am not able to connect the sccm server. when i tried to connect in WMI root\sms_sitecode getting error.. can you understand now? or not
There is no getting back the WMI namespace if it was renamed or delete. It is not supported to do this without contact CSS directly for support.
You have two options, Attempt to clean up the mess of renaming the WMI. This might take a while due to the complexity of WMI and the unknowns of what was exactly done.
Call CSS and tell them what exact you have done and get them to work with you to solve this problem.

  • BizTalk Admin Console not responding when loading configuration

    Hi All,
I have a BizTalk 2013 R2 test environment which has separate BizTalk and SQL servers.
Due to something went wrong with the BizTalk server so I built another BizTalk
server and joined the same BizTalk group and I also moved the master secret
server to the new BizTalk server. I removed the old BizTalk server from the
group and shut the old server down.
But when I am using the new server to load the configuration for any receive or send ports,
the MMC gave me the "this snap-in is not responding" alert and if I canceled the alerts a couple of times, the configuration info can be loaded.
The admin console is fast when not loading configuration though.
Does anybody have any ideas what could be wrong?
    Thanks,
    David

This issue could be because of many reasons. Work on the below pointers.
    1) I would suggest you to start with performing BizTalk Repair to avoid any registry issues, because in most of the cases Admin console related issues are solved by BizTalk repair only.
    2) Check if SQL Server and MSDTC service is running properly.
As a Last option collect DebugDiag logs and try to analyze the same.

Hello, Sai! Can you give us some more info? Such as:
    - Operating system
    - Browser used
    - Whether anything comes up in the output window
    - Whether anything comes up in the log files (domain log, server log, etc.)
    Some suggestions:
Did you wait a bit after starting? Perhaps it hadn't quite started yet (unlikely).
Do you have a firewall running? Perhaps it is blocking port 7001.
Does your hosts file resolve localhost to 127.0.0.1? You could just try http://127.0.0.1:7001 instead.
Make sure that you have Java enabled (although I think you would still get the login page even if you didn't have Java).
    Try a different browser.

  • Admin can not log in after migration Teaming

    Hello,
I did migrate Teaming 1.0.3 (SLES 10 SP2) to Teaming 2.1 (SLES 10 SP 2) on a different server according to information from this web site Novell Documentation
Everything worked with one exception admin account can not log in :(
The rest of the account works, but users are taken from LDAP.
I tried to use the old admin password as well as a new admin password set during installation Teaming 2.1
    In catalina.out log I got:
WARN [http-9080-1] [org.kablink.teaming.module.authentication.impl.Aut henticationModuleImpl] - Authentication failure for zone 1: org.springframework.security.BadCredentialsExcepti on: Bad credentials; nested exception is org.kablink.teaming.security.authentication.Passwo rdDoesNotMatchException: Password does not match for user [kablink, admin]
I think that something has gone wrong with the admin account password after the migration but I do not know how to fix it.
I tried to change the password for the admin account directly in the database table but I do not know what hash algorithm is used by Teaming 2.1
Does anyone encountered such a problem?
How can I set a new password for the admin account directly in the MySQL database?
    Best regards,

I **think** that hash is specified in the installer.xml file. Try also to post your question on the kablink forum: Installation, Configuration, Customization

  • Management Console not logging the BPCLog table

Hi guys.  Hope you can help
We have a multi-server environment, built on Server 2008R2 64-bit (both Web/App and SQL servers).
Basically, BPC is working fine, but the Management Console is not logging anything to the BPCLog table in AppServer.
I have run through the normal ODBC logging setup:
Created a new SQL login (bpc_management_console_user), assigned a password, mapped as DBO on AppServer database.
Created a new System DSN on the Web/App Server named BPC_ManagementDSN and connected successfully using the above credentials.
Disable "Windows Authentication" and enable "Basic Authentication" in IIS 7 for the Management Console website
Run the APPCMD commands to enable ODBC logging on the Default Web Site
Output of "APPCMD LIST CONFIG "Default Web Site" /section:odbcLogging" is as follows:
    <system.webServer>
      <odbcLogging dataSource="BPC_ManagementDSN" tableName="BPCLog" userName="bpc_management_console_user" password="{Blanked for obvious resons}" />
    </system.webServer>
I've re-checked all of this and restarted IIS, but nothing at all is being written to BPCLog.
Has anyone any suggestions on things that I can try (I suspect it is down to running on Server 2008)
    BTW - We run BPC 7.5 SP05
    Thanks

    Hi there,
Were you able to get this working?
You may need to create a 32 bit ODBC datasource for this.
The 32-bit ODBC Administrator is found here: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe
    Thanks,
    John

  • Resources created w/MQ Admin Console not seen in GF Admin console

    Environment:
    Glassfish Enterprise Server v2.1
    JDK 1.6.0_11-b03 (bundled)
Sun Java(tm) System Message Queue 4.3 (Build 7-g)
    Windows XP SP3
Following the documentation in Chapter 1 of the Sun Java System Message Queue 4.1 Administration Guide[1] I used the MQ Admin Console SWING tool to create an ObjectStore with the following properties:
    java.naming.provider.url - file:///C:/imq_admin_objects
    java.naming.factory.initial - com.sun.jndi.fscontext.RefFSContextFactory
In that object store I created six destinations (3 Queues and 3 Topics) along with one connection factory.
I also used the Admin Console to create one Broker with host set to localhost and primary port set to 7676. Within that broker I created 6 physical destination for the destinations I created in the object store.
In the Glassfish administration console under Configuration -> Java Message Service -> JMS Hosts -> Physical Destinations none of the ones I created in the Broker using the MQ Admin console were visible. I suspected this was due to the fact that GF needs the naming properties I set when I created the ObjectStore with the MQ Admin console so I set them under Configuration -> Java Message Service : Additional Properties. When I did that and restarted the domain the physical destinations I created with the MQ Admin console now showed up in the GF admin console's Physical Destinations section.
However, the ConnectionFactory and Destinations I created in the ObjectStore do not show up in the GF Admin console's Resources -> JMS Resources -> Connection Factories and Resources -> JMS Resources -> Destination Resources respectively. I suspect this is also a case of needing to feed some properties to the domain somewhere but I don't see an obvious place to do so. Nor am I sure what they should be since they need to be scoped to the JMS resource but simply adding a property like java.naming.factory.initial to a more global scope then one affecting only JMS would be 'a bad thing'.
FWIW the GF Enterprise Server 2.1 Administration Guide [2], Chapter 4 - Configuring Java Message Service Resources does not touch on this subject either.

  • WAP2000 Admin console not accessable

I'm having an issue with our WAP2000 access point.  I had to reset the access point and now I can't access the admin console.  I've set a static IP address just as I did when I first set it up. Now when I browse to the 192.168.1.245 in my browser it just displays an Authentication error.  Need some help with this please.

Ok so here is what needs to be done.
If you are using the WAP2000 you may(will) have some issues if you are trying to configure your device you must have it attached to a router that has 192.168.1.* class c IP Range.  If not you will have some issues.  Once you have that part you can then move on to accessing the admin console.
If the router is wireless or wired make sure that DHCP is turned on so that you can insure that you will recieve an IP address in the same range.  With that done connect to the Router not the WAP and wait for the connection to be established.  Once that is done you can then browse to either 192.168.1.245 or http://192.168.1.245.  once inside set the WAP to accept web support this way no matter what IP it gets once configured you can access it.

  • Admin Console not working

I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but my admin console does not appear to be working.  I have 7 different computers right now playing a 10 minute video from the FMS.  All are playing the video via http://myserver/vod/video.mp4.  I open the admin console and it is not showing any connections playing under current connections.....but there ARE 7 successful connections as I am watching them play right now.  Maybe the admin console is not set up correctly?  This forum has been amazing at answering my questions....I hope this question is no different.

    Ugh....
See the big problem is we cannot use rtmp:// because we have a bunch of users on iPad's that do not use flash.  So we are using (Apache) and the http://.  I just do not understand why the console will only see connections if they are rtmp???  Can I see these connections anywhere else?

  • Console not logging after Leopard upgrade

    Hi everyone
I've had a number of problems after the Leopard upgrade, the most serious of which is not being able to get my POP mail (separate post in the Mail and Address Book forum), but I'm also puzzled as to why Console.app isn't logging "console" anymore.
Other logs continue to add data, including the SpamSieve log and crash logs, but "console" only goes up to when I upgraded to Leopard, three days ago: it says nothing after that point, despite several restarts.
There are older "console" logs, but none newer than that date.
I'd like it working, because it's such an important part of checking and fixing things.
I have no idea why it is not logging: your suggestions are most welcome.

    Clytie wrote:

It is working, but in a different way.
Everything gets written to a Log Database these days, and the messages that would previously gone to the old console.log appear there as "Console Messages" under "Log Database Queries" in Console.app.
system.log is unusual in that it still exists although everything written there also goes to the database. However I think you'll find that every console message also goes to system.log (but not vice-versa).
The only reason you have "older console logs" is because you did either an Upgrade or an Archive & Instal. I did an Erase & Instal and there are no console logs.
