Admin menu formatting

The formatting in the admin menus is all messed up (Chrome 39). Doesn't affect functionality but it's starting to get annoying. Any chance of a fix soon?

This is the problem. Also occurs in any place with a horizontal menu and where the link has two words.

    Hi Prasad,
To get all these admin. iViews u should have assigned the "Administrator" role(superadmin role is different) to ur userid and that can be assigned by only Administrator.
After gaining the access u have to create System for mail server.
    Then navigate to
    System Admin.->System Configuration->Knowledge Management->Collaboration->Groupware Transports ->Mail Transport.
Fill in the parameters i.e. the ip of the mail server and the name of the folder where you want the sent messages to be stored and the name of the system created in step 1 in the system alias field.
Restart the J2ee engine for the changes to take effect.
    With best regards,
    Amol.

  • ISE Admin Menu Access Policy and Network Resources

    Hello Board,
Does someone experience the same issue as me, if using an Admin Menu Access Policy?
First of all, I'm using the latest ISE release (1.1.3.124 with patch 1).
I created a custom Administrator Menu Access Policy (Admin Access -> Authorization -> Permissions -> Menu Access).
But basically I allowed (show) all menu items.
Then I bind this permission profile to an Admin Authorization Policy
Everything works very well, but I have issues, if I want to administer "Network Resources", if I'm using this admin menu access
    - In "Network Devices", there is no Menu bar (no "add", "delete" or "edit" button)
    - In "Network Device Groups", there is just the folder "Groups" on the left side, but there is no way to create anything or navigate into the groups
I'm not quite sure if this is a configuration fault on my side or just some kind of bug.
By the way - I'm using the latest firefox.

As far as I know everything seems fine to me from the configuration  side. You can try downgrading the ISE version to 1.1.2 patch 5 and also  try changing the browser which might help.

  • Drupal's Admin menu doesn't function properly with FF 34.0.5

I'm developing a website using Drupal and now the Admin menu at the top of the page is not displaying sub-menus correctly. They aren't missing but just transparent so you can't see them. The admin menu was working perfectly before the upgrade to 34.0.5 and works in Chrome/Safari. It's too bad I can't send you a screenshot.

  • Urgent: "Clear Cell Text" utility under Admin menu cleared data

I selected Forecast scenario, version, year, months, idesc(accounts) in "Clear Cell Details" utility under Admin menu. I selected members of all dimensions. However, instead of deleting that intersection of data, it deleted Forecast and Actuals data.
Does "clear cell details" work? Are there any known bugs with it?
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    Hello John,
Have you used that "Clear Cell Details" utility successfully? It wiped out other scenarios even though I specified only one.
At the end of the run, I think it asked me if I wanted to know what to do with data it cleared - and I said to fill it with #missing.

  • Spry menu formatting not working correctly in DW CS6

    Hello,
I've installed  a spry menu but the formatting is not working correctly.
The hover colour works correctly but the selected menu item  colour does not change. Only the home menu tab remains coloured.
Please can anyone suggest what might be wrong?
    Thank you.
    Robbieg

Ah. OK. I've found the problem. On the every page  I've got a class=current attribute to the <a> tag for the  home menu item.
Now, since this menu code is in a template as part of the top part of every page, it means that this is also included on all the other pages of the site. How do I get this attribute  to be different on each page that uses the template?
    Thank you.

  • Show/Hide DVT Admin Menu Based on Entitlements

    Hi,
We're using the DVT framework provided in Weblogic Portal 10.3.2 to create My Page functionality within our portal project. Part of the requirement is to offer limited functionality to non-admin users.
    For example:
    Portal Level Customization Menu
    - Show/Hide based on entitlements (we tried setting an entitlement of the Main page Book, and that worked, however after that we were unable to see the Customize Menu for any child Books/Pages)
    - Limit entries based on entitlements
    Book Level Customization Menu
    - Limit menu entries based on entitlements
    - Restrict the ability to rename book based on entitlements
    Page Level Customization Menu
    - Limit menu entries based on entitlements
    - Restrict the ability to rename page based on entitlements
    Portlet Level Customization Menu
    - Limit menu entries based on entitlements
    - Restrict the ability to rename portlet based on entitlements
We've been able to eliminate DVT functionality for entire Books and Pages based on entitlements, however we can't find a way to provide limited functionality as described above.
Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?
    Thank you.

Sorry about the confusion. What I meant was, I tested with both setting entitlement and DA roles (separately) and found that the usecase you are describing works. BTW, you are right in that only visitor entitlement roles effect dvt functionality. I just wanted to check if setting DA roles wasn't causing some undesirable behavior.
Back to the issue you are having, I am assuming you are talking about setting a 'view' entitlement for 'role1' on the primary book and logging in as a user that is not in 'role1' but has 'edit' rights on a child page or book of the primary book. In that case you shouldn't be able to see anything since you don't have view rights to the main book. If that is not the case, can you provide details about your setup?
Here is what I tested and found working. Set an 'edit' entitlement for 'role1' and a 'view' entitlement for 'role2' on the primary book. When logged in as a user from 'role2' I cannot see the 'Customize' gear icon on the primary book but I can see the gears on child books, pages and portlets. I tested the usecase with non-primary books and that works too.
    Thanks

  • Discoverer admin date format - ignoring NLS_LANG  ?

Hi, can't find answers to this anywhere. is there anybody out there that can help?
Admin edition: Create a new folder from database, select a table containing date columns, and finish.
If you look at the properties for the date fields in the new folder the format mask is 'DD-MON-YYYY' regardless of what NLS_LANG is defined in the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE.
we've currently got it set to English_France.WE8ISO8859P1 expecting dd/mm/yyyy. (also tried creating an NLS_DATE_FORMAT key under the same registry path).
The workaround at mo is to change the properties of each date field manually - very time consuming and prone to human error! Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.

You have to create the key NLS_DATE_FORMAT at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->ORACLE
    Define your date mask there.

  • Help - Changing drop-down Menu Format

    Hi,
I want to know how I can get a new menu or what software I
can use to creat a new menu. Captivate 2/3 only allow you to creat
a drop down menu to break up your course into chapters. This is
annoying, since its only up top and not visible. I want to create
my course similar to breeze where all the chapters of the course
are on a visible left hand panel at all times. This makes it easy
for my customers to skip sections and navigate. Please let me know
how I can convert my swf adope captivate files into this format or
what software will allow me to do this. This is urgent, since I
have to come up with a solution in the next few days before launch.
    Thank you kindly,
    Mosh

    Welcome to our community, Mosh
One way to accomplish this is to click Project > Resize
Project... and make the project wider. During the process you will
have the opportunity to choose how to handle the existing part of
the project. You will want to place it on the right. This should
create a new area on the left side. You could then insert button
objects in this area to allow navigation of the project.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Menu format that will fit ALL TV screens, old and new?

I'm having trouble creating a menu that will fit all the variety of screens now. What should I use as my settings in DVD Studio Pro?
    4:3
    16:9 letterbox
    etc. etc.
The film is a 90 minute docu DV NTSC anamorphic. I originally made a 16:9 (letterbox) menu, which works fine on a regular old 4:3 TV, but is coming up in all sorts of odd combinations with the wide flat screens.
    All ears...
    Ben

The problem you are facing to a degree is the fact you can't control the user input at the other end once they have the DVD.
My personal opinion is if the movie is 16x9 Anamorphic then the menus should be too. That means you need to set the menus to 16x9 Letterbox.
Now you could design your menus cleverly - by making them 16x9 but keeping the elements that are important within the 4x3 frame - that way if the user has their DVD set to output 16x9 they get the full menu if watching on a 16x9 tv set, if they have their DVD player set to 16x9 Letterbox and are watching on a 4x3 set they'll get bars top and bottom (the letterbox) and if they are watching on a 4x3 set and have their output set to 4x3 Pan and Scan (why?) they get the menu with sides chopped off but still see all the important bits... course if they have the tv set that way then they'll be watching your movie with the sides chopped off too
So that's why when we have a 16x9 movie set up properly in DVD-SP we design our menus to 16x9 and be done with it...
If the end user wants to watch it squashed, stretched or whatever - there's little you can do about it...
    Hope that makes sense

  • Gnome Desktop Admin Menu

Howdy, just came back to Arch and am getting Gnome setup.  First time I have setup Gnome on Arch, and everything so far seems to be running really smooth.  My question though, I've noticed on other distros with Gnome that the Desktop/Administration menu seems to hold more items...  Print Manager, User Manager, etc.  Mine only has Login Window.  What package(s) do I need to add, or what do I need to config, to get the other items to display?  Thanks.

I think theres an updated version in unstable,

  • Tabbed menu format question

    Hi,
I'm a newby with Dreamweaver and I'd like to change the
tabbed panels to look like file folders, similar to the following:
    http://www.kgnu.org/ht/support.html
. I've look around the web for different styles of tabs to download
but I haven't found any like this. Plus, I wouldn't know how to go
about inserting a download style into the page. I would appreciate
any suggestions you might have. Thanks. --Anna

There is quite a bit of style changes you can make using
images and CSS. It a little bit intense to get inot and explain
here right now, but Google around for CSS tutorials and theres
bound to be an answer somewhere,

  • Printers do not show up in Page Setup Format for menu

Hello. I just installed Acrobat 9 Professional. Upgrade from AP7. For some reason, when I go to select the printer in the Page Setup> Format For> dropdown menu, the printers do not show up. When I try to make a pre-set for this printer it never works and always defaults back to Language Level 3, which gives me a postscript error when I try to print. It prints fine at Language Level 2 but I can't get the setting to stay. Any clues???
    thank you in advance,
    Randy

    Geraldine,
There are some oddities in Pages' methods.
What you did was save the changed template which had been altered on the page but you also needed to "capture" and save the Layout or Section over the existing one in the document using the same name to replace it.
I will walk you through making your own version of a template.
1 Open a new document using the template you wish to customise.
2 Don't change anything yet, but open every section from the Sections pull down menu so you have a sequence of pages each with a page of a different section design.
3 Make Master Objects selectable if they are not.
Change each Section to your liking.
    4 +Menu > View > Page Thumbnails+
5 Select first Thumbnail in sidebar
+Menu > Format > Advanced > Capture Pages… > Name : Type exactly the same name as the section > It will ask you if you want to replace the existing section > Replace+
6 Repeat this for each section until you have replaced them all.
    7 +Menu > File > Save as Template… > Save with a New Name+
    8 +Menu > File > New from Templates > My Templates > Choose your New Name template+
You now have a document customised to your design.

  • How do I remove the gap above my Spry Menu bar?

    Hi Folks,
I have an extensive web site which I built over many years and using different programs but have now jettisoned all of thse and work exclusively with Dreamweaver to maintain and improve it myself. To date I have always had to edit each item on each page separately then upload everything to keep my now vast website updated.
I read that if I made an SSi file for my navigation menu then I do not need to edit it on each separate page of my site so long as I load the pages of my site as .shtml files and insert a Server-Side Includes line in the code of my web pages. All great in theory BUT for some reason which is confounding me there is a gap appearing at the top of the page which is not there on the pages which are not .shtml and have my sprymenu embedded in the code.
Rather than attach long code here, it might be easier to see the problem on my live pages. So please go to any page of www.dominicnatoli.com to see how the site looks with the spry menu in each page and then go to say www.dominicnatoli.com/2011.shtml to see one of the newly loaded pages which displays the menu from the file www.dominicnatoli.com/includes/navmenu.shtml. interestingly enough if I open the navmenu.shtml alone it displays at the top of the page but whenever I open it as embedded code on my .shtml content pages it does not display at the top of the page.
I have not completely uploaded all the .shtml files of the site as I have encountered this issue and if I cannot resolve it I will ababndon this course of action and search for another solution so if you click on some of the menu items and it takes you to a dead end that is not in and of itself the problem as not all the .shtml files have been loaded to the server yet.
I have trawled through the css and code to the best of my "limited" ability and am frustrated as I cannot find my error. There ar epossibly hundreds of errors in the pages as this site has been created using many different programs over decades and one of my reason for trying to do this new menu management is part of my overhaul stragtegy which has stumbled already at the first step. LOL I know we say if it ain't broke don't fix it, but I need to sort out a better way of editin the navigation menu universally rather than having to write code into each menu on each page in order for the nav bar to be consistent wite wide.
I would really be grateful if one of you gurus can tell me where I am going wrong so I can replicate the solution for the remained of my pages. I am not sure if the problem is in teh navmenu.shtml page and its associated css or in the other shtml page with its much larger css. Thanks for any help you can give me to sort his out.
I am working on Dreamweaver CC and CS6 ( the latter has an Insert Server Side Includes extension which does not work in CC so I tend to use CC for the main updates and CS6 for the SSI stuff.)
Please let me know if you need any other information or stuff from me. Thanks a lot and
    All the best
    Dominic

OK Nancy, so I moved the code as you suggested, and it has gone back to showing the nav menu formatted BUT still with a gap at the top.
Here is the new code for the page. BTW it only has 463 lines

/* IE6 rules - you can delete these if you do not want to support IE6 */
/* A note about multiple classes in IE6.
    * Some of the rules above use multiple class names on an element for selection, such as "hover" (MenuItemHover) and "has a subMenu" (MenuItemWithSubMenu),
    * giving the selector '.MenuItemWithSubMenu.MenuItemHover'.
    * Unfortunately IE6 does not support using mutiple classnames in a selector for an element. For a selector such as '.foo.bar.baz', IE6 ignores
    * all but the final classname (here, '.baz'), and sets the specificity accordingly, counting just one of those classs as significant. To get around this
    * problem, we use the plugin in SpryMenuBarIEWorkaroundsPlugin.js to generate compound classnames for IE6, such as 'MenuItemWithSubMenuHover'.
    * Since there are a lot of these needed, the plugin does not generate the extra classes for modern browsers, and we use the CSS2 style mutltiple class
    * syntax for that. Since IE6 both applies rules where
    * it should not, and gets the specificity wrong too, we have to order rules carefully, so the rule misapplied in IE6 can be overridden.
    * So, we put the multiple class rule first. IE6 will mistakenly apply this rule.  We follow this with the single-class rule that it would
    * mistakenly override, making sure the  misinterpreted IE6 specificity is the same as the single-class selector, so the latter wins.
    * We then create a copy of the multiple class rule, adding a '.SpryIsIE6' class as context, and making sure the specificity for
    * the selector is high enough to beat the single-class rule in the "both classes match" case. We place the IE6 rule at the end of the
    * css style block to make it easy to delete if you want to drop IE6 support.
    * If you decide you do not need IE6 support, you can get rid of these, as well as the inclusion of the SpryMenuBarIEWorkaroundsPlugin.js script.
    * The 'SpryIsIE6' class is placed on the HTML element by  the script in SpryMenuBarIEWorkaroundsPlugin.js if the browser is Internet Explorer 6. This avoids the necessity of IE conditional comments for these rules.
