 I will be happy to help you.
If you mean the password for the printer itself then I will private message you with the reset for the printer. It will also take the printer off the network and you will have to reconfigure the network again if it  is setup on a wireless network.
There are two models close in name the m251 and m276, which one do you have?

    In order to scan to a file on my Laserjet Pro 200 Color MFP M276nw, I need to register a file on my MacBookPro that the scan file can be sent.  The Mac is using Mac OS 10.10 which is claimed to be supported by HP.  But, I am unable to provide the registration information so that the scan file can be sent to the Mac.  Can someone help me with this problem?

    I see that you are having issues setting up the scan file. I would like to help you out today.
    If you are trying to setup a scan to a network folder, please follow these steps:
    Create a folder on the desktop.
    Hold down the control button and click on the folder you just created and select Get Info.
    Check Share folder.
    Under Sharing & Permissions select Read & Write.
    Close that window.
    Go to the Apple, System Preferences, Sharing.
    Check File Sharing, select the folder created, then select Read & Write.
    Click on options.
    Check Share files and folders using SMB.
    Check Share files and folders using AFP.
    Below check Account name.
    Then click on Done.
    On the same windows, with File Sharing highlighted, to the right of that under File Sharing: ON, write down the
    IP address.
    Then close that window.
    Open the Embedded Web Server for the printer.
    Click on the Scan tab.
    Click on Network Folder Setup.
    Delete any old entries.
    Then click on New.
    Display Name: Type in any display name.
    Network Path: \\computer's IP\folder name
    Example: \\192.168.22.104\scan
    Username:Computers User name.
    Password: Computers Password.
    Then click on Save and Test at the bottom right corner.

    Sorry, the standard 150 page input tray is the only tray available for the HP Laserjet Pro 200 Color MFP m276nw.

    Maybe driver rename or compatible generic?
    Just bought it, unpacked, connected - and found out that XP 64 is not supported.
    Now what? Return in disgust and buy Cannon or Minolta again, as they support all OS?

    My pc has recently been updated with Maverics 10.9, I've installed the drivers from this website and the CD, but eveytime I print the pages come out blank.

    I understand your pages are printing out black since you updated to Mavericks. I have some steps for you that might help!
    First of all, try:
    Mac OS X: How to reset the printing system (this will delete all printers)
    Repair disk permissions
    Restart your Mac
    Re-add the printer, do not add the AirPrint driver
    Test print again
    Next, try the steps in this guide: Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues

    I see that you are having issues printing from the Laptop and iPhone, over the wireless network. I would really like to be able to help you resolve this issue.
    Since the blue wireless light is flashing on the printer, it isn't connected to the network.
    Run the wireless setup on the printer.
    Go to Setup, Network Setup, Wireless Menu, Wireless Setup Wizard.
    Print a configuration page to get the printer's IP address.
    Printing a Configuration Report.
    Select Method one.
    If you have a valid IPv4 address for the printer then try and access the Embedded Web Server for the printer. Type the IPv4 address into your web browser's address bar. (Internet Explorer)
    If it loads the printer's network page then the printer is on the network.
    Download, save and then run the software installation. HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw Drivers.
    Select your operating system, click next and click on the software to download and install.
    Test the printer.

    What operating system are you using? How to Find the Windows Edition and Version on Your Computer.
    The printer is capable of printing from Word and Excel, you might need to run the updates for Word.

    Hi,
    my name is Domenico and I have the following problem:
    I have setup my HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw in HPePrint App on my Ipad mini, but I am able to print directly.
    When I send a page to print through my tablet, on the printer screen I can see the following message:
    "Manual feed.
    Plain, A4
    Or press [OK] to use available media"
    So, I have to press OK on the printer screen to print the page. 
    How can I avoid this problem?

    I reset the password on my LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw months ago and have now forgotten it.  How do I recover it or change it?

    On a laptop running Windows 8 (I have tried several times, including rebooting):
    Whether running LJ-Pro-200-color-MFP-M276-driver-installer-14057.exe or LJ-Pro-200-color-MFP-M276-full-solution-14057.exe I get the same error:
    A problem occurred while preparing to install software to your system.  Please restart your computer, and run this installer again.  If the problem persists, please check the product web site for your product.

    Thanks for providing the detailed reply hpr7busr. I see that you are getting a error during the installation. I would really like to be able to help you today.
    Disconnect the USB cable and run the uninstall to make sure all the printer files are removed.
    Try the steps in this document to see if that will help resolve the issue. You will notice the latest operating system is for Windows 7. If you are not sure how to access the ones provided in the document for Windows 8, just let me know.

    Run the installation again with Admin Rights.  Right click on the install and select Run as Administrator.
    To access the Run command in Windows 8, in desktop mode, press the Windows key and R at the same time, to show the run command line. 
    Here is a URL to temporarily disable all the start up programs to see if one of them is causing any issues.

    Turn off any Antivirus software.

  • HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276 - not able to print black when any color is empty

    Hi,
    We have 2x HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276n in our office, both have firmware date code 20121026.
    The problem is that when ever one of the colored toner cartridges gets empty it fails to print even black & white documents and freezes in the replace cartridge screen.
    In system supplies settings it is configured to print only black when colored supplies are below very low threshold limit.
    Since the printer is freezing in the warning screen and only powering it off and on helps to bring it back alive, it seems that this is a software or firmware issue. I didnt find any firmware updates for this model though.
    It doesnt make any sense that it is not possible to use the printer at all when only one of colored cartridges is empty. Any thoughts on how to solve this issue are welcome.

    Can print all files except Adobe (PDF) which freeze the printer.  Have downloaded all relevant new software and still does not work.  Was able to print PDF files until recently when the problem started.  Supplier has not been able to solve the problem and cannot seem to get hold of anyone at HP who can help us.  Any ideas ?

  • Laserjet pro 200 color MFP won't print cyan

    My HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw printer has stopped printing cyan.  It does it for files sent to the printer as well as just trying to make a copy.  The cyan cartridge has been replaced and status shows full.   I've run all the onboard diagnositics, cleaning page, etc. with no luck.  How do I determine the problem and fix it?

    Hi , Thanks for getting back to me! It's not abnormal to see some print quality issues once your toner is lower that 20%. Were you able to complete the steps in the document that I sent? Is there any cyan on the print quality printout at all? If not, it could be a defective toner cartridge. I would suggest contacting HP Support to inquire about a replacement if it is a Genuine HP toner cartridge.**Fill in the model number and the form to receive a case number for quicker assistance. If a replacement toner cartridge does not resolve the issue, then it's possible that the printer may need to be serviced. Hope this helps!Thanks again for posting, and have a great day.

    I am trying to install (via USB) the printing driver for my HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color MFP M276nw printer, but my operating system is Windows XP Professional 64-bit, Service Pack 2. The installer stops with an error saying that the system is not supported. Are there any basic drivers available to fix this problem, or do I necessarily need to upgrade my OS?

    XP 64-bit is not supported. (see system requirements)
    Now is a good time to consider a O/S upgrade because of the end of life come April/2014 for Windows XP.

    I have a HP laserjet pro 200 color MFP M276nw since 2 months. Since yesterday the touch-screen does not reacts anymore when I select an item. I just can touch the help icon, the home icon and the return icon. But when the touch screen is in sleep-mode I can touch in the middle of the screen and it wakes up.
    So I don't know if it is a problem with the touch screen or it is a setting.

    I see that you are experiencing issues with the touch screen not working on the printer. I will do my best to help you.
    With the cyan toner being low, shouldn't affect the display on the printer. It will just cause poor quality printing.
    Did you already try the hard reset?
    Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
    The printer shouldn't be exposed to any electric or magnetic field.
    Try another power cord, you can use a monitor power cord to test it. Just to rule that out.
    I will send you another step to try in a private message. It may not work though if it is a hardware issue with the printer itself. In the forum beside your handle name just click on the envelope to view it.
