Admin says wrong OS of client and can't connect
ARD will not connect to 2 of my macs, I have read lots of posts , checked out the manuel, reinstalled the clients software, checked the sharing preferences... nothing
One mac is a Titanium PB running 10.4.11 connected using Ethernet. The admin says 'Access Denied', OS version- 10.3.9. and when i try to control it it say authentication failed!
The other is an Imac G4, 10.4.11, using airport. The name of the computer comes up as the IP address and no other information!
How do I get around these issues
Problem solved! It was a Japanese language problem. FYI: If you have Japanese and English on your computer you need to manually choose the American flag in the menu bar and choose English. The English printer driver won't accept Romaji inputs the number fields in the print menu. Whew! Also, the other issue: the printer manual said that I cannot check ink levels when using Airport(Airmac). I have to connect the printer directly to the computer(perhaps with the firewire cable.) Taihen. Demo, daijiyoubudesu. (Pain in the ...., but I can deal with it.

I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. The HP PhotoSmart 5514 is on Apple's list of AirPrint printers, so it should work. <iOS: AirPrint 101>
One problem might be that your WiFi router does not correctly handle Bonjour data required by AirPrint. Contact the router's manufacturer to see if there is a change to its setup or a firmware update that will solve the problem.
I had a printing problem several months ago, where the WiFi had jumped to a neighbor's WiFi that happened to have the same name. There are a LOT of WiFi routers out there named "Linksys"!

Make certain you have updated to the absolute latest Java from the official Java site, then try the download again.

Place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore via iTunes. For recovery mode:

Hello, I have an Iphone 3GS and can't connect to Game Center. It recognizes my apple ID account, states it was never used with Game Center. Then asks for country, birthdate, then returns to ask country again, then birthdate, and returns to the loop. Never ends the loop unless I cancel the setup process. I have restored the iphone to the factory settings and restored the backup, but did not work. Any suggestions on what can be the problem? thank you.
I just read another post that says you can go into a game that allows for multiple players and utalizes game center and enter your account information that way. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems to work for others that had this issue.

I can call my ipad with my iphone alll the time. That's how I check up on my kids at home when I"m at work. You just set up to your iphone's facetime setting with your phone number and set up your ipad's facetime settings with your apple id (in this case it's your email)

Unless you have an iOS app that uses BT for a specific purpose, such as file transfer, BT on the iPad alone, as stated, does not support it.

After I upgraded to IOS 8 my iPhone is not working well at all .. the most serious issue is the wifi which is too slow and can't connect to apple store and can't update my application .. also tried to search or update for ios 8 but also can't connect . safari also always can't connect to any the server . please check and advise

What do you mean by distant IP address?
- Reset the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Try changing the channel in use in case you're getting interference.
If you have WEP enabled on the Internet Sharing it'ss worth disabling it whilst troubleshooting the connectivity issues.

My daughter is out of the country and can't connect to WiFi or make any calls. We added International Calling to her phone plan. While she was in the airport in the US the problem started, and continued once she reached her destination. Verizon can't figure out what the problem is, and I'm wondering if it's a hardware issue?
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
