I've no idea how to reset the old password in my macbook pro. Because this is my father gave it to me then even he also forgot the password too! Please I need help! T.T If not I cant download software in this computer. how?

Try and force your iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.

I have downloaded an update to Firefox, but when I try to load it I get this message, "The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items" and I have no idea what it is talking about or how to change it.

The previous version of Firefox is still on and operational. I get this message when I try to drag the Firefox icon to the application file icon. Since this is my computer, and I am the administrator, I don't know what privileges I lack, or on which items. If there is a way to correct this I would like to do so and activate the new version. It looks like the new version is 7.0.1 for Mac OS. This happens everytime I try to load the new version by dragging the icon.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

Use Skype video via wifi. Works better that FaceTime IMPO, and you can talk to Android phones.

Updating only when using Admin mode (since 3.6) and "ghosting" leaving images of others sites, apps, even pdfs I have opened in a browsing session that you can see when you shut FF down.

I can update FF while in admin mode but when I switch back to my user log-in it says I still need to update and has been this way since 3.6 at least.
FF is also leaving ghost images from other apps as it is shut down you can see, not sure if it is a memory leak or what but it is a little annoying.

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on exactly what you are trying to log into with your Apple ID, or what exactly you are seeing (alert message, directions, etc) when you try to do so. It's the password for your outgoing mail in your Mail account. You need to set it up in your Preferences.

That Apple ID is stored inside each of those applications. If you can’t get back into it, you’ll need to delete and redownload all of them, which may require repurchasing paid ones.

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). FaceTime is not available on devices purchased or used in certain countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. This is by government decree. The FaceTime app can't be downloaded or installed on these iPads.
