Administrative screen not found after portal installation
I installed Portal 3x on solaris. Eventhough I can login, I
could n't see administrative screen at the portal. I logged using
portal30 username.
http:hostname:7777/pls/dad
Logged using portal30 username.
What is the default administrative user name. If it is not
portal30, how do I set it up? Do I have to logon to the portal
administrative screen? Is it a different URL?

But: I meanwhile cross-checked your ath9k: http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Dri … h9k_driver
and it does not sound encouraging for the kernel you have there.
The image is far too old anyway, if you ask me (would be a darn hazzle to get that uptodate I am sure). Pity you get that memory error with the 2011 one. Maybe check forums on that. Sounds very strange, I am not aware of any post I read.
If you can burn another CD, you can try the recent ISOs as well: http://releng.archlinux.org/isos/
Beware that the ones from July dont have the AIF setup anymore.

Network card not found after new installation [SOLVED]
I broke my filesystem on my Asus UL80V series laptop in trying to solve problems related to the latest glibc update, so decided to do a clean re-install. I had an installation disk at hand: 2009.08 with kernel 2.6.30.4-1 (which is supposed to have the module for my ath9k network device). However after a successful installation (including all the files from base-dev), my network device is not recognised:
dhcpcd: eth0: interface not found or invalid
although network connectivity (wired and wireless) worked perfectly before the installation attempt.
This happened yesterday (17th) and I have been scouring the web since trying to find out what the cause of this problem is, without luck.
I also burned a new installation CD with the latest stable version, but no luck there, either! Got a message at the beginning informing me that the install requires 64 Mb memory, although my laptop has 4 Gb.
I should say, the device is there and working:
lspci | grep Net
gives
02:00.0 Network controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01)
I also did
modprobe ath9k
just to make sure. No luck.
Any help will be appreciated.

Administration screen not finding my Portal Web Applications
Hello All,
Does anyone know why the portal administration screen might not find a Portal
Web Application ? When I go to my administration screen, (http://.../MyAppAdmin/portal.portal)
the drop-down box says 'No Available Portal Web Application'.
When I go to http://.../MyWebProj/app.portal it loads fine!
Also, this only happens when I deploy application as an .ear file. When I run
it on my own machine from Workshop, it all loads fine. Also, my other applications
are ok, I can not see what is different with this guy!
Is there some build option I should include, to add something in a deployment
descriptor to declare the Portal Web Application ? I am just using Workshops
'build ear' menu option.

This can occur in a cluster if the Portal Application has not been deployed
to the admin server. Some special things happen during app deployment on
the admin server, which result in extra information getting written to the
database. This information is used by the portal admin tools to display the
list of web-apps.
If this is the environment you're running in, it might be helpful to look at
the 'Deploying Portal Applications' guide on edocs.bea.com, which goes into
more detail on deployment.

Interesting question - thanks for that. Until now I didn't realise there was a difference.
The User Profile Service is up and running, but no MySite Host is set. (I don't believe MySite will be available anywhere here. I guess that means there's no valid MySite Host for me to use.)

Lenovo A1 - Touch screen not working after digitizer replacemen​t
After dropping my tablet and breaking the digitzer, I ordered a replacement digitzer from a company in China. (It took about a month to get it) After watching this video, I was able to install my new digitizer and it finally looked new again....well at least the screen!
But.....when I powered up my tablet, the touch screen wasn't working..... I emailed back and forth with the company and they told me to install drive program, and send me a link to a site with a video, this site may have contained more than the video, but it was all in Chinese and I couldn't figure it out even with Google Translate. So I started researching. I thought I would try and load ICS on it, I thought, "Whats the worst thing that could happen?" it wasn't much more than a brick at this point anyways.
I found this website that let me through installing ICS on it. I had absolutly no expectations...but IT WORKED!!!! MY TOUCH SCREEN IS NOW WORKING!!!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!!
When I was researching for this problem, there was absolutly no posts anywhere for "Touch screen not working after new digitizer". So I wanted to share my experience.Yea you are correct.....it must be a hardware problem. You must contact service centre of Lenovo and get help from there.

Thanks!Nowhere during the installation does it give me the option to select the previous version I purchased! This is a new install on a new computer because my other computer no longer works. There is no option for me to select CS6 PS (NON EXTENDED) on the download from Adobe! When I install it only installs the extended version and tells me my serial number is valid but not for the extended. When you provided the link to the page that has the downloads, all that loads is the extended version. Can you please give me a link to the CS6 (not extended) so I can get back to work? I also was able to get the hard drive out of my computer that no longer works and put it on my new computer I'm trying to install CS6 on and the installer gave me NO OPTIONS to enter my old serial#.
This is beyond frustrating!!!! I have a computer go out on me, and have to buy a new computer, then when I try to install CS6 PS it will not install. In the meantime I'm trying to keep my small business going to stay in business. I can't call any one from adobe. All I can do is send emails to get this resolved and wait.

neenaDuring installation, an user casuser is created with certian security settings and if those are modified\removed, DM will not start.
Following message will be seen in /log/syslog.log
Daemon manager anonymous user has not been set up: 00000775
To solve the issue, run resetcasuser.exe located under /setup.support to recreate the settings.
Make sure casuser account is not locked out. Make sure casuser is a member of casusers group and is set to "password never expires".
Additionally you can try to make casuser a member of adiministrators group.

Check the properties of casuser under Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Local Users and Groups > Users and make sure it is not disabled or locked out. The only thing checked should be "Password never expires". Change anything required and reset casuser. -

Please do following checklist:
1. Check that the J2EE engine is up and running (e.g. log in with Admin)
2. Check that the following application is running:
Visual Admin => Cluster => Server => Services => Deploy
Select "Application" and look for "sap.com/tclmctcutilbasic_ear
3. Try to continue installation
It could be helpful to apply the patch for CTC as per note # 938261
before restarting.
and also try to add more memory allocation.
If issue persists,
- I'd like to know which installation DVD/CD number being using ?
- The contents of the LABEL.ASC file.
- The installation guide reference and title used for this install ?
- SAPINST version ?
- Oracle version/patch level ?
- Operating system version/patch level ?

Htmldb - Screen not found 404 error
I installed Htmldb on 10.2 database. It worked fine. After about two weeks I decided to copy a program from 1.6 to 2.0. Exported/imported pgm to 2.0. Pgm did not install. Left box running. 2 1/2 days later I get screen not found error. Htmldb will not come up. opmnctl startall and shutdown work fine. Http services, OEM work fine. I thought the password in the marvel.conf file was not working. I edited the marvel.conf, chged to htmldb, chged htmldb_public_user, flow_files, and flow_010600 password to htmldb. No difference. Must be something small. Any ideas on how to get htmldb up. If not, can I do an upgrade on htmldb to 2.0 and still retain all the work the developers have put on the box?
Is it not installed means in the import application u have to choose the schema name and then proceed ? If the schema name comes try to install it first ?
And for the second case dont mess up with marvel.conf .Its very important file for HTMLDB to come up in browser .Manual editing is very bad practice except the password and connectstring. It is most important to provide us the details before procees also with the details what Chris wants.

HP officejet pro 8600 "not found" after installation on Dell laptop with Windows 7 op syst
downloaded software from internet and it shows that it's been installed on computer. Printer is on and shows that it is connected to the network. Networks match on computer and printer. Printer not printing from computer but did from my phone. "printer not found" message comes up during connection process on the instal wizard. I am using a Linksys wireless broadband router. I've tried all the troubleshooters and found that there was a driver error, but I don't know how to correct this.

I understand that you are having some trouble with the driver download on your AMD chipset but not your Intel one.
I recommend that you try the web download of the drivers after you uninstall the ones that you tried form the CD.

After the installation ECC 6.0 EHP 7 , the base component will be at 600.since ECC 6.0 EHP7 is coming as a ready phase installation.
You need to upgrade all the base coponenet 607 , with the help of SUM.
So you need to generate the stack and upgrade it.
