Adminstrator for installation of a program
I am trying to install Pocketmac for Blackberry on my Powerbook G4. When I go to install it gives me an alert indicating I do not have the authority / privleges. I am the only person on the computer and have installed other items before. I checked my user account and it states that I am an adminstrator. Any ideas as to why this is going on or am I just out of luck. This doesnt make sense to me, I know I'm fairly new to the mac world, but this is baffling me.

I eventfully broke down and took the computer to a genius bar. They ended up basically rebuilding all the permissions of the computer from scratch. I was very suprised when I returned to get the computer and I had lost nothing, not even the background. I was very pleased.

I had itunes set up and working since i have had my iPhone and iPad. One day it asked to be updated, so i did. After it updated it stopped working because whenever i tried to open it it would say "this shortcut has either been deleted or moved would you like to delete this shortcut". This kept on happening so I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it, but then comes my second problem. This is my main problem and i don't know how to stop it i have tried a disc clean up, De frag and trying to completely take everything to do with itunes off my computer, but it still doesn’t work. IF ASU will not uninstall you need to do an installer clean up.
Download and install Microsoft Installer cleanup utility, there are instructions on the page as well as the download. Note that what you download is the installer not the program – you have to run it to install the program.
To run the program – All Programs>>Windows Install Cleanup

Remove any entries you find for Apple Software Update.
Download the iTunes installer from the Apple site and save it on your desktop. Run the installer from there.

Apparently it's an itunes issue. I just tried to update and got the same issue. Called att to activate my iphone 4s and they say they can do the swap but apple is telling them itunes is down atm. So will have to wait

Perhaps let's first try updating your Apple Software Update.
Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time? -

I´m faccing with the same error... I installed the solution manager Ehp1 and it have SPS20 applied which correspond to ST 400 level 20 (SAPKITL430).
When I am in transaction SMSY in section Systems and I press the button "READ SYSTEM NUMBER" is shown an error message that says "SAP customer number unknown for installation" the details of help says:
Diagnosis
Installation number &V1& that is assigned to some system(s) in transaction SMSY is not assigned to an SAP customer number in table AIINSTALLATIONS.
Procedure
Please check the log of background job REFRESH_ADMIN_DATA_FROM_SUPPORT for errors.
So, when I entry in that job log I found this error:
No customer numbers maintained in view V_AISAPCUSTNOS | AI_SC_EN | 106
Then I went in table/view V_AISAPCUSTNOS and inside does not contain any data!!!
All the notes I found were related to lower versions and so I could not implemented the snotes corrections!! Any notes for my release that are related with this problem?

When downloading Itunes I get this message:

Adobe Air not allowing installation of new program
Hello,
I recently purchased a new Lenovo Thinkpad laptop running Windows 7 and when I attempt to install my school review program, I get this error message:
"The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author."
I have uninstalled and reinstalled all adobe software on my computer several times while restarting it between installations and still no luck. I do not know if maybe there is a different version of Adobe air that I need to install? I tried installing the software included on the CD as well as the newest version from the Adobe website. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am running Windows 7 and I am trying to uninstall Adobe Flash
Player 10 ActiveX yet I can't find it on the list of Add/Remove
Programs. I have cleaned the registry with CCLEANER application. I

ActiveX from my computer. Can anyone help me Much Appreciated!We had this same problem recently and the faultbucket link pointed me in the right direction however the registry entries were different for us.
Most of our computers were fine but some had problems with Flash Plugins and some with Activex and some both.
The best way to fix a computer or set of computers is to first uninstall all Flash and then note all remaining Flash entries in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products.
These entries can vary based on what versions got corrupted on your systems.
This ended up being the fix for us for both Flash Plugin and ActiveX version. We tested it and had great success as a .reg file and are now deploying it via GPO.
(We had 4 defunct registry entries for Flash plugin and 3 for Activex)
