Adobe 11.0.06 with Windows 7

I can't print multiple coopies of a single page document. I used the print icon; the print dialogue box came up; I specified 25 copoies; I pressed the print button and got 1 copy. I tried the same document remotely from my office system printing locally - same result.

Hello,
I know this problem was reported many months ago, but I am also experiencing this exact same issue, and have found no resolution to it yet. My user has a simple PDF embedded into an Excel 2010 document. Double click the PDF and it opens properly in Acrobat. If I close Acrobat, Excel freezes in the background (not responding). I have to force quit Excel to get back to Excel.
Also, if I double click on Acrobat again to re-open the application, it won't open. If I check Task Manager after Excel crashes, I can see that Acrobat.exe is still running in memory, and I have to force-quit it before I can re-open Acorbat.
Any progress on this issue?

I have removed and re-installed CS2 twice now and still get the same library application error.
DO NOT INSTALL WINDOWS 8 ONTO YOUR COMPUTER IF YOU WANT TO KEEP CS2!
Telling us to spend more money to upgrade our software to meet OS does not show trust to the users. CS2 should be able to work with new OS systems and if not users should be allowed to update their current program for free to be able to use it on the new OS.
    Thank you,

The creative cloud has nothing to do with photoshop elements 11, so that won't help.
Make sure you insert the dvd labeled Windows
Once you insert the dvd, click on the Folder icon (File Explorer) in the Taskbar on the Desktop
Then you should see the pse 11 dvd listed under Devices and drives
Right click on the pse 11 dvd icon, click Open and then double click on the AutoPlay.exe

does Adobe Photoshop CS run with windows 7?

That also applies to photoshop cs owners as well.
The reason the specs say windows 2000/xp is because those were the current operating systems cs2 supported when released in 2005, well before windows 7.
Photoshop cs2 should work on windows 7, but as always there is no guarantee photoshop cs2 will work without some glitches on windows 7.
If your hesitate about trying it, you can always buy photoshop cs6 or subscribe to photoshop cc 2014, both of which are specified to work well on windows 7.

  • Using adobe aud 3.0 with windows 8.1 and tascam interface

I just upgraded my computer to windows 8.1 from xp ....have been using adobe aud 3.0 since 08....worked fine till I ugraded to windows 8.1.....i use a tascam us 144 interface for voice recording but since I installed windows 8.1 AND Tascams laster drivers (latest one came out in 2010) adobe will record but only in spurts....when I hit record it will move across the screen about 2 inchs then stop...move a little more then stop.....so I went and bought a new interface (Focusrite iTrack solo) ...downloaded the drivers....when I hit record in Addobe audition I get a window that says WINDOWS SOUND DRIVER this audio nput not activated....check input config.....question....is there anything I can do to or adjust to continue to use the Tascam interface?  if not how do I get Focusrite to record in Adobe
    THANKS

You need to make sure that you have ASIO drivers installed for your audio interfaces. Both manufacturers provide them. ASIO drivers completely bypass anything to do with Windows sound settings as well as providing lower latency.
In Audition's Hardware Setup page Audio Driver box make sure that you select the appropriate interface's ASIO drivers not Windows Sound for both the Edit and Multitrack tab. The various inputs and outputs should then appear in the boxes below.

  • WHY is it that you cannot fix (completely so you never have to come back to it again) how adobe flash player works with windows 8.1?

    Hi,
I would like to start a discussion on how one of the "leading" software companies in the WORLD cannot provide a better way for their software (which I assume they want everyone to use) to be used in conjunction with windows 8.1.   ADOBE no longer provides support for those who don't pay to be here, they don't have a reasonably intelligent way to fix problems for non computer minded people, they want you to go through and change this setting or that (ya, I've seen the page and done the crap they tell you to do to fix the flash player so it works and... it works... for a little while then you wind up with a fkn green screen after another day or two... this is complete BS you shouldn't have to unfk things so they work every few days... you shouldn't have to deal with crap like this... I AM GOING TO USE VLC PLAYER OR SOMETHING ELSE TO TAKE CARE OF MY VIDEO PLAYER NEEDS IN MY DIFFERENT BROWSERS FROM NOW ON... YOU GUYS SUCK, YOU HAVE NO SUCH THING AS SUPPORT ANYMORE AND YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY MOVING BACK INSTEAD OF FORWARD IN THE INNOVATION DEPARTMENT!!!!)
    1.  this should be simple, install the software, install an update if the software is installed and up to date it should work... don't make me fiddle with all the extra bs, your the software developer why cant' you do that????
    2.  you tried to make it easier by making it so flash player is imbedded in my browser, congratulations you made it screwed up... think of it this way, now I have to get rid of your software to have something malleable I can deal with... your software doesn't work half the time, i'm sick and tired of dealing with it... i'm not going to deal with it anymore, I have changed the settings as directed on your help page and it worked.... for a freakin DAY, then I get green screens when I try to use it the very next day... so... I undo the changes I made the previous day... and redo the changes AGAIN and it works AGAIN.... FOR A FKN DAY!!!  WTFO!!!! this is complete and total bs, your idea to make things simpler made things more complicated, more labor intensive, and more of a pain in the azz for the rest of the world... SO I am going to find a way to not have to deal with ADOBE anymore!!! screw you adobe, screw your software, screw your lack of support.  you have nothing to offer me that I cannot get elsewhere with less drama, I hope your business crashes like your software... have a nice day!

One of my programs needed Flash Player and downloaded it for me!  So, Problem solved.  Thanks to all who are reading this.  I would delete it if I could.

  • Adobe XI not working with windows 7.

Since installing Adobe XI (11.0.03) when I open an exiting or new pdf on my laptop I get the message:  Adobe Reader A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
I uninstalled and reinstalled several times.  I followed the instructions on the Adobe web site.  Nothing is working and I need to be able to do my work.  How can I get Adobe X so I can install that older version.  Can't find it on the Adobe website.  HELP!!

    OK point taken.
But let's not go into semantics here.
Fact was I had a perfectly working Adobe Reader X on my PC with windows 7
After an automatic upgrade to Adobe Reader XI , I am no longer able to open any pdf.
And after uninstalling XI and reinstalling X, the problem remains...
So somewhere along the line a piece of software has been installed, that remains even after uninstalling, and affects the previous Reader version when reinstalled.
I am no computer expert, I am an end user.
My thought is : program developers at Adobe probably know in which directories software is installed when you download an upgrade.
Like MWNZ suggested : when you change a name in a directory which can be the cause of the bug, the bug might be neutralised.
I thought it was a valuable suggestion, I tried it, but unfortunately without result.
But at least he gave a suggestion to a solution
Given the fact that the bug remains, even after uninstalling XI and reinstalling X ( which perfectly worked before !) , people more knowledgeable then me on the field of software, might have ideas or suggestions where to look for the bug.
    That's my point
But the fact still remains : windows 7 and adobe reader XI is not a happy marriage.
I'm really not interested in pointing fingers here, I just would be most happy with any solution that allows me to open pdf's again.

  • Adobe CS 4 compatible with Windows 8?

Thank you again for your kind help!

  • Does Adobe Reader XI work with Windows Starter 7?

I've been having trouble downloading Adobe Reader XI. It kept hanging at 96% during the installation. I tried to restart and download again and checked for viruses, but the installation never worked. I also tried the adobe cleaner to clean the product, restart and try the installation again. That didn't work. I also tried the direct download link and that didn't work either. In fact the direct download ended by saying there was a 150210 error ( no idea what that means :/ ).
So now I'm looking at the specs and wondering if the problem this whole time is that it's not compatible with WIndows Starter 7. Some tech specs don't specifically list Starter 7 (it's just assumed with Windows 7). Should this be working on my system or not? And if it is supposed to be working, how can I get the installation to work?
    Thanks in advance.

I think the Reader installer should work on any Windows 7 edition.  I don't know what the 150210 error means.
Try if you can succeed with the MSI installer: http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/11.x/11.0.00/en_US/AdbeRdr11000_en_US.msi (English version 11.0.0).

  • Adobe Prof 7 problems with Windows 7 - 64 bit

My laptop crashed and I just purchased a new comptuer with Windows 7 - 64 bit.  Now have 2 problems with Adobe:
#1 When I right click on a web site to save as PDF, it won't work. There is no error, no response.  Just doesn't do anything
#2 If I go to a web site requireing Adobe Flash Player Installer and I click to install it... nothing happens.
    Please help!
    Thanks Mary

Adobe Acrobat 7 surely isn't supported in Windows 7. Heck the newest version probably isn't either (I haven't checked).
That being said, right-clicking to save a file doesn't involve Acrobat and neither does installing Flash Player.

My adobe does not worked with I have tried 9 & 10 both versions. It does not seem to work with Windows 7.

Adobe Reader X works very well on Windows 7.
Please give us the exact error message you're getting; "program not working" is not a message that Windows or Adobe Reader would issue.

  • Will Adobe Flash 8 work with Windows Vista?

I was just wondering whether anyone knew whether the new
WIndows Vista will work fine with Adobe Flash 8?
    Thanks

nervous is not how i would describe it - more like confused
and innacurate. We have no choice for
creative content solutions? I use at least 2 other animation
    programs for starters. There's also
Corel and Painter and well, I could go on when it comes to
    graphics editors.
There's also Camtasia as oppsed to Contribute.
True Adobe now dominates the market, but often times the word
    "monopoly" comes with negative
connotations - Photoshop, AFter Effects, Flash and other
products have become so universaly standard
mostly because they deserve to be based on their features,
stability and because we chose to use
    them over other products.
But I also agree with you, Adobe is now the one-stop-shopping
for almost anything a creative person
would need. I just wouldn't say there are no other choices. I
    combine other animation software
almost everyday for things that flash falls short on.
