Adobe 3.0 Photostarter help

Hi
My mom plugged her phone into the computer and it automatically downloaded the photos into the adobe photo album starter. Her computer is very old and the program isn't giving any more access codes. I contacted Adobe via chat and they directed me here. I simply want to save to photos to a different location. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The photos are not in the adobe 3 starter program, but in fact in a folder on her hard drive.

You may need to design the site again in older version OR may be copy and paste in place from new to old except what is new in the latest version.

When i try to open photoshop this shows up Please uninstall and reinstall the product. If this problem still occurs, please contact Adobe technical support for help, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen. Error: 16

i had to take my photoshop file into a hardrive because my dad was going to give me a new Mac and when things didn't work out and went back to my old one i use the time capsule thing to save everything before but didn't give me photoshop so i physically moved the file and tried to open it but then this error shows up

and when i click the uninstall app on the file it tells me this

and when i click fix alias i click on photoshop and the app just turns into photoshop and i just run in circles

Can you please check the value of the registry entries at the following location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
In case the values for any of the entries (i.e. Common AppData, Common Desktop, Common Documents etc.) is referencing to E:\, change the value back to look something like below and you should be good to go.

This morning, I made a new "customer" and downloaded the "trial version" of CC2014 photoshop. This resulted a working CC2014. I hope Adobe can fix my "real" account which does not work at this time.
Anyone else tried this?

I don't think everyone with a Mac is having basic problems with Photoshop 2014.1.
What exact versions do you have in each case? Is your updated version 2014.1, while the "new customer" version is 2014.0? Choose Help - System Info to see.
Sounds like, given your specific system, you may want to try a full clean and reinstall, or maybe a downgrade to 2014.0 until 2014.1.1 or 2014.2 comes out. I think the older versions are available through the Creative Cloud application.

Hi, Thank you so much for the info.... I really do appreciate it. We had the laptop updated by way of a system upgrade with RAM and an additional SSD drive. Once reconfigured all programs were reinstalled but Iphoto is not among them. Iphoto was on the laptop when purchased so we have no additional discs. Before the laptop was updated we backed the photos up to an extrenal hard drive so we have them, but cant access them. Could I purchase Iphoto 8 stll? Would this work? We would also require an external CD drive as we no longer have the disc drive in the laptop (I think the extra new bits took over). You may have noticed I have very limited knowledge on computers so any help dispite how simple it may sound to some would help me greatly. I just want all my photos back .... Thanks inadvance... I can understand your concern & you need to worry about this, as your PC folders won't be available on other PC's as this option is just to browse through the files of the specific system on which you are working as shown in the screenshot below.
Only the files uploaded on the Document cloud will be available over Internet using Adobe Document Cloud service upon the authentication of your Adobe ID & password.

Apple dropped playback support for .swf formats in QuickTime almost ten years ago.
Adobe Flash Player is the only way to view them.

It also seems to have been a problem for long time going back to early versions of Mozilla Firefox 1.06. The solution I chose to make URL links in PDFs trigger my Firefox browser reliably was to dump Adobe Reader and install the faster and smaller Foxit Reader (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php). From your question, I take it you have Photoshop Elements 5.0.
You should ask over in the Photoshop Elements forum how to restore catalogs. I hope you have back ups of your images because the organizer doesn't physically store your images.

Robohelp 9 Adobe Air Browser Based Help not rendering on IIS Server 7.5

Hello everyone,
I'm having an issue where the output (Adobe Air browser based help) is not rendering properly on the IIS Server 7.5 that it is published to.
I have updated the icons in the skin, and when viewed locally the site works fine. When it is published to the webserver the new icons do not show up, and the banner does not render in the new color. The site is using the unipane adobe air browser based help template.
I've had the dev team restart the webserver twice, and for some reason the flash object simply won't update.
Anyone else see this before?

If memory serves, Browser Based AIRHelp uses Flash elements like FlashHelp does. I recall a few years ago that FlashHelp had the same issues on some servers. Further, if memory serves, the fix was to ask your web server folks to tweak the server by adjusting the MIME types so it will properly serve Flash items.
Adobe used to have a KB article on this. Unfortunately, time seems to have caused it to evaporate. Grrrrr

Adobe Reader X: offline help file?

hello,
I'd like the F1 link on the Help Menu to open a local offline Help file, not start my browser to go to Adobe's online HTML help pages. Is this possible? Where do I find the necessary file(s)?
I already have saved the reader_X_help.pdf file available via a link on the online Adobe pages, which I certainly will read to get the maximum out of the reader, but context-sensitive F1 key offline help is very convenient and much faster than starting my browser.

Does anyone know were I can obtain the French version of the help pdf?

I've tried changing the language local as per Adobe's suggestions to fr_FR, fr_CA, and CA_fr.
It is always redirected to the en_US link above.

Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2014 Helper has stopped working

When I try to import an Flash SWF file created with CC 2014 I get an error that says Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2014 Helper has stopped working. Then I get the option to check online for a solution and close the program or just a second option to just close the program.
Any suggestions to a fix?

I insured that Flash 64 bit was installed on my computer.
This problem must have something to do with embedding a Flash file. I could not recreate the problem on other client's websites. I pulled all the Flash code and the problem went away. Of course I want to include a Flash file so it's still an issue for me.

Adobe AIR Browser Based Help Edit Home Button URL

I'm using the unipane template for my adobe air browser based help, and need to edit the URL that the home button uses. Currently, the home button will take me to a page displaying a table of contents structure instead of the default topic I use as the homepage.
Is there a way to edit this url that the home button in the unipane template?

Not that I know of. I guess if you hacked the installed AIR help you might find a way of doing it but that hack would have to be done on every PC after installation. Obviously that is a non-starter.
