Adobe 5 compatiable with windows 8

is adobe 5 compatiable with windows 8?

If you want to install Adobe CS5 then yes you can try to install Adobe CS5 on Windows 8 and let know in case you face any issue.
If you are trying to install any other software of Adobe then please let us know the name of the Adobe Software which you want to install.

  • Adobe Connect issues with Windows 7

Has anyone found a solution to the problems Adobe Connect has with Windows 7?

Sounds like something is blocking network traffic. I'm not aware of any Windows 7 specific issues. I've used Windows 7 with connect for 2 years with no Windows specific issues.
I'd call support at 800-945-9120 and see if they can indentify the issue and give you a resolution.

Basically when I go to put new stuff ontomy ipod a box appears saying that I can only be synced to one itunes library at one time. Then it asks if I want to sync to this library. Obviously I say no as I dont want to lose anything anyway now my old itunes library is somewhere in the ether and I cannot import any new songs! I have tried purchasing a few songs but again it will not importto my ipod!! Im so confused! Can anyone help me please??

  • Is Adobe XI compatible with Windows 8 RT on a Windows Surface 2?

Is Adobe XI compatible with Windows 8 RT on a Windows Surface 2?

    Hi Alfred ,
I would like to know do you have a Surface Pro (running Windows 8) or Surface RT (running Windows RT).  There is no such thing called "Windows 8 RT".
It is not compatible with the Windows RT operating system.  So if you have a Surface RT, you would not be able to install and run the desktop app.
Adobe Reader Touch is a Windows Store app with "Modern" UI.  It is compatible with both Windows 8 and Windows RT operating systems.

    Hi eileenkohler,
Please see System requirements | Acrobat family of products. Both Acrobat X and Acrobat XI are compatible with Windows 7.
(Other customers have been able to install and use Acrobat 8 and 9 on Windows 7, but that isn't a supported configuration.)

  • Is adobe photoshop elements 11 compatiable with windows 8

Is photoshop elements 11 working with windows 8?

PSE 11 and Windows 8 and/or Outlook 2013 have several reported bugs.  For example Outlook 2013 and PSE 11 are incompatible because all features (for example Photomail) do not work.  Adobe will not support Outlook for email.  The user community is unsure of whether it is an Outlook or Windows compatibility problem - but it something!

  • Compatibility of Adobe Reader XI with Windows 8, 64 bit version appears to be a problem. Ideas?

Whenever, I load Adobe XI (which seems to be the only version compatible with Windows 8, I get a "No default mail client" error. has anyone found a solution? Is Adobe working on a fix?
(I use a Dell Lattitude E6530 notebook with Windows 8 and Microsoft Office 2013 64 bit version installed).
    Your replies appreciated.

You can get previous versions of reader from: http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/
Regarding your problem, you need to send some more information like the machine RAM usage and CPU usage when Reader 11 freezes. A screenshot would help.
Does other applications work correctly on your machine?

  • Adobe Photoshop Incompatible with Windows 7 ?

I typically do not have problems installing Microsoft products, Corel products, HP products, AV software, dozens of other companies products on my Windows 7 Home Premium computer. I have never had problems installing Adobe products on ME, XP, Vista. However, every recent Adobe product I have purchased have failed to install on Windows 7 Home Premium and it typically takes support several hours to fix, if it can be fixed at all. It involves creating new accounts, disabling services, disabling the UAC, doing partial restarts (I did not even know those existed) and normal restarts, etc (I do have administrative rights on my account(s)).
Today I was working with customer support (taking control of my desktop). We did not succeed to install Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.
During the installation a windows dialog box was displayed which stated that the Adobe installation .exe file was incompatible with Windows UAC.
There is clearly something wrong with the Adobe installer because Adobe products are the only products that cannot be installed.
Why is it so difficult tp install Adobe products on a Windows 7 system?
Does anyone know what is going on?
Is the Adobe installer really incompatible with Windows 7 as the Windows dialog box stated?
    Thomas

Thank you for your help all three of you,
    I finally succeeded to install.
I was using the downloaded version (not the DVD), I should have mentioned that. I did two things. I turned off the UAC (as suggested) and I moved the installation files from my user account folder where they were placed by default (I initially just accepted the default). The user account was protected despite my administrative rights, which is why install using setup.exe in the user account location failed. I have a feeling that I would not have had to turn off the UAC or move the files out of the user account folder if I had run as administrator. I'll remember that next time. It is funny customer support did not see this.
    Anyway, now it is installed

  • Adobe not working with window 7 ?

My new Dell computer with window 7 & adobe reader x installed, but when I try to read an PDF file, msg come up " adobe reader has stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop working correctly", then it closed itself. Try to uninstall adobe reader,& reinstall again for few times, everytime it showed " install success", but when I try to open the adobe, it's empty inside. Try to download foxitsoftware reader, Google can't find the file, need help!!!  I think because the window 7 can't work with adobe, or the new version of adobe X didn't test it right before they release to the public, still have bugs................

Adobe Reader 10.1.2 works fine on my Dell with Windows 7.
Try uninstalling Adobe Reader, then download and run the full installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

  • Adobe Reader 11freezes with Windows 8 64 bit

Adobe 10 worked fine with Windows 8. After I upgraded Reader to 11 it started to freeze. It will download a PDF about a tenth of the way and then just freeze. Have to go to Taxk Manager to get out of the program. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and this does not clear the problem. Sometimes, if i reboot my computer, it will work but one time only then it starts to freeze up again. Two questions, is there a fix and if not, how do I get back to Reader 10?

You can get previous versions of reader from: http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/
Regarding your problem, you need to send some more information like the machine RAM usage and CPU usage when Reader 11 freezes. A screenshot would help.

  • Adobe Reader incompatible with Windows Internet Explorer 9

I recently installed the update for Windows Internet Eexplorer 9 on my laptop (Vista Home Premium) and have installed the latest Adobe Reader as well.
After installing Windows IE 9 I found that I was not able to view any letters etc online where Adobe Reader was required.
I tried all the suggestions in the associated help screen to no avail, so I finally 'uninstalled'  the Windows I E 9 update and magically I was once again able to view online letters etc.
I am wondering why the latest Adobe Reader is incompatible with Windows I E 9?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Judith Matthews [email address removed by host]

I believe IE9 is not supported with Reader9, but everything should work as usual. I have both on my machine and am able to use them without any problem.
Try repairing Reader from Programs in Control Panel.
Kindly refer to System Requirement section in http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/837/cpsid_83708/attachments/Acrobat_Reader_ReleaseNote_9.5.pdf

  • Adobe reader 5 with windows 7?

I'm told AR 5 is incompatible with windows 7 is there any fix?@

First, you cannot have two Reader versions on the same system.
If you are happy to have only Reader 5, you can try to run it under Windows 2000 or XP Compatibility Mode.  No guarantee it will work.
You can download it from ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobatreader/win/5.x/ - ar500enu.exe and ar505enu.exe being the English versions.
Another way, if you don't need to use it too often, is to run a copy of XP on Virtual PC.
