I currently use Adobe Acrobat 7.0 standard and am thinking of upgrading to Adobe 10 Professional. Is it permissable to purchase the Adobe 10 Professional upgrade or do I have to upgrade to Adobe Acrobat 10.0 Standard?

Can i upgrade a license from Adobe Acrobat Standard XI to Adobe Acrobat Professional XI? and pay only the difference, or i have to buy a full license?

As I remember some of the posts long ago, I am not sure the possibility for upgrade is too good. At one point as I recall you essentially had to pay the upgrade cost. All of this is from a not too good memory and I agree that the only way to find out for sure is to call Adobe. It would be useful for us if you reported back on what you find out.

A couple of months ago, I was told by the live support team of Adobe, that I would be able to upgrade from flash cs5.5 to flash cs6 mac version, then I can change that to the windows version for $100. Now I am ready to upgrade and switch, but I am unable to find the upgrade for the USA, only for Africa. When I go to change the country to USA, it brings my to a cyclical clicking of links that never leads me to the actual flash cs6 purchase page, it only brings me to the purchase page for Flash CC, which I don't want. I am skeptical that the flash cs6 purchase page with Africa as a location was even a legitimate adobe webpage. Here is the page I was brought to by google (google was the only thing able to bring me to the page, I can't find it via adobes website) : Adobe Store - Adobe Flash Professional CS6 - Upgrade. I don't want to have to download from overseas (Digital River Ireland Ltd.) if this is even legitimate. The fine print said international purchases may incur an extra charge by my bank which I would love to avoid. Someone please help me, my Macbook broke last year and I have had a digital copy of the mac version of flash cs5.5 for a few years which I payed 700 dollars for, and now I have a windows laptop and the mac version of flash cs5.5 is useless to me now unless I can solve this issue! Useful things to know.

It's Adobe Flash that has the occasional security issue and mostly because people don't keep on top of the updates.
However Flash does it's own updating now so that's less of a problem than before.
Adobe's Create Suite is fine and the best in the industry.
However it's Apple that releases new OS X versions like crazy and so you have to make sure things work before you upgrade or update OS X .
A website here assists in telling you the basics, if CS6 will work with 10.8 for instance or iff issues develope with a update.

The Adobe Helpline was just a line, but no HELPline, as they mentioned in a astonishing arrogant way that the product is seven years old and they don't support ist. From my point of view, being a professional writer, I just can't afford to pay another 650 Euros for a Adobe Acrobat Professional 11.0.

Selbst so ein Schlaumeier. Schau lieber was Du schreibst. Bislang hast Du nur von Acrobat 7 geschrieben, nichts von Acrobat X.
Wenn Du diesen hast, weshalb installierst Du nicht diesen. Dieser läuft auf Deinem Betriebssystem. Um diesen zu installieren braucht es auch keine Installation der Version 7, lediglich die Seriennummer der Vorversionen werden abgefragt werden, manchmal muss auch die CD zur Echtheitsüberprüfung eingeschoben werden.

Du schimpfst durch die Gegend, weil Dir nicht geholfen wird, wie Du es Dir vorstellst, aber rückst notwendige Informationen nicht mal raus, wenn man danach fragt, bzw. machst Angaben, die zumindest diesem letzten Post widersprechen. Also nochmals: Hirn einschalten, Stroh wegräumen und an der eigenen Nase anfassen und aufpassen, dass die Finger nicht rotzig werden. Having tried this, I was met with a recorded message, in Arabic, and no options to speak to anyone. I have found this process extremely frustrating and poor on your behalf. Not providing any options to speak to an Adobe representative is equally annoying. Please get back to me ASAP, as I need to use the product immediately.

CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back. So probably won't run on modern operating systems. If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

I have a problem with Adobe Flash Professional CC and CS6 to save animated .gif file. Here is very simple work with logo. But I can't save a perfect file swf or gif and it's so bad news for me. Thanks, but I use publish/export settings with GPU hardware acceleration and flash version 11.2 (and 11.8) but nothing happening.
And why gif file is not all transparenty then I insert on lightblue background? It can't export good quality? Also I use Photoshop, After Effects, Adobe Edge Animate. And nothing happening. Problem in creating PDF of Website using Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.

I am trying to create PDF file of full website using "Create PDF from Web Page..." option, in Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.
It is creating PDF but the page alignments/text/images alignments are lost and doesn't look good.
Can any one help to create the PDF same as webpage look and feel.

Acrobat 8's HTML->PDF engine is quite old and doesn't work well with modern web pages. I'd recommend trying the same page using Acrobat X (trial available) where the engine has been replaced and modernized.
