Adobe 9.2 and windows

Every time I try to open a PDF file I get a message saying "Adobe Reader-an Internal Error Has Occurred". Then the browser crashes. I've uninstalled Adobe and reinstalled, but it didn't help. Any suggestions would be great!

This same thing is happening to me. The strange thing is that my husband and
children have user accounts on the same computer but it doesn't happen to them.
Let me know if find a solution.

Adobe Reader X and Windows 7 Enterprise Memory Leak

Hi I am using Adobe Reader X with Windows 7 enterprise when reading a 8000 page document when I do a search I notice that the memory on my machine starts to creep up typically 1Mb per search this will continue to rise to over 300Mb as the document is used until it reaches a point that it freezes the machine, The only way to recover is Ctrl-Alt-Delete and cancel the task. Has this been observed by other users?

Could you provide some additional details about both the file and your system's configuration?
What version of Adobe Reader X do you have installed? (Help > About Adobe Reader)
If you haven't updated to 10.0.3, please do so and see if the issue persists.
How was the PDF file you're searching created? (File > Document Properties > What does the PDF Producer line say?)
Are you experiencing this with multiple files?
Have you installed SP1 for Windows 7?

Adobe Reader 2002 and Windows Mobile 6

Hello,
has anyone experience with Adobe Reader and Windows Mobile 6?
I'm using an E-Ten M700 and the Reader (I tried ARM-Version and 2.0) installed itself perfectly but when started the loading icon appears shortly and nothing happens.
Is the Reader no good with WM 6?

In general, all ppc apps will run on current winmobile _ppc_ devices (must have touch screen) so, the answer is yes unless something such as a locked device disallows installing apps.
As for reflow, that is an issue of the pdf files... they must be "tagged" in order to allow reflow on the ppc.
The sync process attempts to tag synced pdf files, but, this will only happen on the sync pc which installed acrobat reader.
Full Acrobat also has the ability to add tags (advanced/accessibility/ make accessible) but some pdfs may not allow tags to be added due to protection levels or those which have any tags anywhere in the document or those where the text is a scanned image.

Why can't I download Adobe flash player with windows 7 64 bit IE 10 64 bit ??????

Try using Compatibility View in IE10.
Or using a different browser.

Adobe Reader 6 and windows 8.1

i recently bought a new laptop and it has windows 8.1. i have always preferred to use Adobe Reader 6 because i can delete pages, insert pages, etc. problem is it won't work with 8.1. how do i get the new adobe reader to do what i used to be able to do?

The fact is no version of Adobe Reader (or prior to the Acrobat 6.x product family the "Acrobat Reader") can delete, insert, etc to PDF pages. The release of Adobe Reader X made the Sticky Note and Highlight annotation tools available.
The release of Adobe Reader XI made the full set of Comment and Drawing Mark Up annotation tools available.
If you've deleted, inserted, etc. for PDF pages in the past you would have been using a release of Acrobat, not Reader.
If you need to "work" PDFs then you need Acrobat. The currently marketed release is "XI".

Adobe Captivate 4 and Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bits - sound doesn´t works

Hi there,
I´m trying to start a new recording, and when I click in Audio button and try to calibrate the sound or record a new audio, it doesn´t works.
Thru the sound recorder (tool that comes with Windows 7 - Acessories), it works fine, but using Adobe Captivate 7, the "Calibrate" button cannot be clicked!

Adobe Pro 8 and Windows 7

I am trying to set up Adobe Pro * and install it on the virtual XP mode in Windows 7. However, it keeps telling me in XP mode that an instance of installation is already running. I restarted the computer, inserted the disk, killed autoplay in windows 7 itself, and then went to install it in XP Mode. Still get the same error message. Is it impossible to install in XP mode? If I only install on the main computer OS and not in virtual XP will I still be able to print to PDF in XP mode?

I don't have a response and you might have to wait a bit. Not too many folks run virtual XP. In my experience with virtual XP, not everything is available. I tried it for a HDTV that did not have a driver for Win7 and it never would work. So, I am probably not the best one to comment as my luck has not been too good.

No one who knows can speak, those that do not know cannot say anything of value. Adobe doesn't usually pre-announce new features. Knowing that Adobe Acrobat and Reader are old products past their prime, you may have to wait for the next version or until Adobe produces a 64-bit version of Reader.

Adober reader X and windows 7 PC cannot print to HP Officejet Pro K550 printer

Any suggestions for getting PDF documents to print using the above? Had exact same printer and same model HP PC printer working previously. I connect this printer to my current PC and it prints everything except PDFs. I am able to print PDFs to other printers. I have relaoded printer drivers and Adobe reader. Any suggestions?

i want to know if Adobe audition can be upgrade and works propely with Windows 7 or Vista ...
i will change my computer soon ... can i use it on two computers or do i must make a transfer ? (is it an obligation)

The only upgrade to 3 is the 3.0.1 bugfix. Generally Auditio works fine with 32-bit W7, but results with 64-bit have, from the reports recieved, been variable. I wouldn't put Vista on a machine at all - it's dreadful.

You can audtenticate Audition on a total of two machines, but you are only allowed to use it on one at a time (it says in the licence conditions). You can transfer authentication though - so you could remove it from your old machine, and re-authenticate in on the new one.

Adobe Flash 9 and Windows profiles

I have the latest version of Flash on my home computer which
uses Windows XP SP2.
The computer has 3 user profiles on it, one for me, one for
my son and one for my daughter.
My problem is, that Flash works fine for my for my profile,
but not for the other two users. They are both logged on as
administrators with full rights. Installing Flash again from their
log-in doesn't help.
Checking the installation using their log-ins on the
Adobe/software/flash/about site shows the latest version IS
installed, but there is NO animation on the page that shows it's
working correctly.
