Adobe 9 - Customization does not work in any way?

Hi all,
i have problem with Adobe 9 Standard and the Customization Wizard.
I've tried it so many times, but the only thing which will work is the entered serial number ;-)
I have created a MST using the Customization Wizard 9. I have configured some settings, like suppress EULA & Registration Wizard, Improvement Program, disabled access to Online features and so on...
But none of these settings are working. i have installed the package this way:
msiexec /i acrostan.msi TRANSFORMS=acro9.mst /qn
Installation succeeded..but when i launched Acrobat, the EULA and the Registration Wizard appears .. and all of the features i have disabled in the wizard are available.
So the only settings which has worked is the serial number and the organization informations.
even i add the Registry keys manually (EULAAceeptedForBrowser etc.) this does not help.
Any suggestions on this?! Thanks in advance!

Might be too little too late but see if this works. I had some similar issues using a full msiexec command.
When using the Customization Wizard, it will create an MST as you mention but when you close the wizard it will also update a file called setup.ini in the same folder as the MSI. In this file it links the msi and the mst together with some other info. So once you load the wizard, load the msi, load your mst, confirm your setting, resave everything you should see setup.ini with the same date stamp as your MST.
Then in your command line don't use misexec /i..... just use setup.exe
The setup.exe will see the setup.ini that will then put everything together.

Why does Adobe sendnow work and the newest and greatest Adobe Send does not work? I wasted about 8 hours on trying to get Adobe Send to upload 269 files that amounted to 469MB. When it did not work I made a zip file and after a lot of wasted run time that did not work. The first situation gives little indication of when a file is loaded compared to Adobe SendNow. In both cases with Send it failed with a message like only the first 50 can be loaded. When I went and looked none of them had been loaded. With the zip file (I wanted to hide the individual files so they would not be counted) it appeared to work but very slowly and finally said it was done and I went and looked and it had done anything for oever 2 hours except a false "I'm runninng" indication.
Thus, I took a chance with Adobe SendNow and it works great. It never gave me a limit on the amount of files nor on the size of the complete job. It shows me one file at a time when it has finished with the file uploading it. SendNow has never given me any problems.
Why woiuld you want to change the program from SendNow to Send without the newest program being the best, fastest, user friendly program of the two? It just doesn't make sense to me. I suggest that Adobe keep SendNow working until Send is fixed. I would also suggest that SendNow and how it looks be kept, called Send, then modify Send one thing at a time until you get it to the point you need it to be for Acrobat. I have heard nothing good and now I have experienced it that Send is a piece of junk. I wasted most of my work day on giving Adobe the benefit of the doubt to find out I made a very bad decision to trust Adobe to make good decisions on the transfer of a function to another place .... both Adobe's responsibility.without making it painless for your customers that totally rely on you. Don't throw away customer confidence as it is very hard to get it back.

Yep! Verizon living up to it's contractual obligations by not releasing updates. Caveat emptor!
I think there are some reasonable expectations here to keep customer's happy. When one carrier offers upgrades there is an expectation the same will happen across all the carriers. We have seen that except Big Red.
Verizon could have said the update is in MS court months ago and stilled the voice of the disgruntled, or at least redirected it, but instead chose to be silent. Not for market share but for partial blame I think.
We will have to agree to disagree since you only see Terms & Conditions and I, see customer satisfaction.

As a suggestion I'd put the Text_io segments into their own begin - exception - end sub-blocks within the main code. This way if Text_io does raise an exception you can catch it earlier as it may be able to recover - That is if it is a text_io exception.
Other than that you;ll have to step through in Debug.

Adobe has decommissioned the CS2 activation servers, so your old serial number is no longer usable.
If you download the special non-activating version of CS2 that Adobe has made available to licensed CS2 users, you MUST also use the new serial number provided by Adobe on that download page:

Try a reset: Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

I've installed a button in my Firefox tool bar to toggle iFrames on and off through a Firefox add-on called "Toolbar Buttons".
The forum Reply Editor does not work when iFrames are blocked, so I need to toggle them back on when posting, then back off. I imagine that's better than having them on all the time.

Download the yahoo email app, if you already deleted and reinstalled the email account and still have issue.
This is a known issue with Yahoo email account.

1st-gen Mac Pro does not boot in any way, not even in safe mode

I have a 1st-generation Mac Pro with the graphics card upgraded to NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT; running 10.7.2. I have had no problems with the machine since I bought it in May 2007... until now. Specifically, the machine suddenly became non-responsive, froze (I do not remember this ever happening before), so I had to power it down and restart. After that, the machine does not boot in any way: does not start up with the Option key; no FireWire target mode; does not start up even in the safe mode. All I get when I power the machine up is the folllowing endless loop: (1) the display unit (30" Apple Cinema Display) waking up from sleep (white light going off) and (2) a flicker of white on the display while the optical drive sounds like checking for any inserted media... then again the display going to sleep for a few seconds and steps (1) and (2).
I could really use help here. Thank you in advance.

I am also sure it is a hardware fault. I have tried to run the Apple Hardware Test from the orginal system disc: I opened the optical drive tray with a paper clip, inserted the disc and powered up the machine. However the machine only spinned up the disc, turned the display to standby, spinned up and standby, etc.
What kind of hardware fault could it be?
(1) the display unit (30" Apple CInema Display) -- I presume unlikely, since the computer should boot even with a defunct display unit or no display unit at all, for that matter;
(2) the graphics card
or
(3) the logic board?

Adobe flash does not work on bootcamp windows 2002 xp. down loaded to windows. works with Mac. No program folder for such. shows up in "add delete programs" (in setting) but without a file size. I have a MacBook Pro purchased new in June 2010.

Using bootcamp (windows 2002 xp) I down loaded adobe flash player from the windows platform. told me it installed successfully. however does not work in windows, does works in mac. in xp there is no created program folder for such or created short cut. In the control panel (xp) in add/delete programs it is listed but wihout any file size or frequency used. I've deleted & reinstalled numerous times. Mac OS is 10.6.8. Windows is 32 bit. Can't find a thing that discusses this. THANKS!
