Adobe 9 Pro Extended Update

Hi
I had to reinstall Adobe 9 Pro Extended
The update service does not work
I manually downloaded updates from: Adobe - Acrobat 9 Pro Extended : For Windows
I get an error message that says The update patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing or the patch may update a different version of the program
Also I do not have a link for 9.5.5
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you in advance

Hi ManSinha,
Please check the KB: Update, patch | Acrobat, Reader 7.x - 9.x | Windows
Acrobat 9 patches have to be installed in the following order 9.0.0 > 9.1.0 > 9.1.2 > 9.2.0 > 9.3.0 > 9.3.2 > 9.3.3 > 9.4.0 > 9.4.2 > 9.4.5 > 9.4.6 > 9.5.0 > 9.5.1 > 9.5.2 > 9.5.3 > 9.5.5

    Hi Jeff ,
Please provide me the following information so that I can see what best can be done to get your issue fixed.
Are you using Acrobat 9 extended ?
How did you purchase your software ?Is it through some outside vendor or through Adobe?
In case you have purchased it from some outside vendor ,would recommend you to get in touch with them .
However ,referring the following link you can cross verify the serial number you are entering .

  • I have loaded the new window 8 and it appears I have to re install my adobe pro extended 9

I do not have the disk, but I should be able to download it from the web.  However, I can not find it.  Can someone help?  I have my product key.

I'm sure you can download it, and someone will give you a download link, if only you gave us the product you are trying to download - "adobe pro extended 9" does not contain an actual product name.  And you posted in the Adobe Reader forum, which again gives no clue what product you want to download.

  • Adobe Pro Extended (Mac) and Adobe Professional (PC)

    Hi
I need to make documents from Word into both Mac and PC having form fields which will allow the user to fill the document in and save it.
I wanted  to know if Pro Extended for Mac and Professional for PC will both allow this.
    Thanks
    David

There is no Adobe Pro Extended for the Mac. It is a PC only product. This can be done with Acrobat Pro on the Mac and PC or Acrobat Extended on the PC. I think the Standard version (PC only) now allows form creation, but you should double-check. PDF files that can be Reader enabled for saving form Data is restricted to 500 uses in Reader. Adobe sells a server-based product if you need to enable your pdf for more than 500 uses.

  • Light source from VRML with Adobe Pro Extended

I couldn't get DirectionalLight like in the following code to work when trying to import the file with Adobe Pro Extended.
Where should I put the DirectionalLight to get it work?
    #VRML V2.0 utf8
    Viewpoint {
    position 0 0 500
    NavigationInfo {
    # headlight FALSE
    type "EXAMINE"
    DirectionalLight {
    ambientIntensity 0
    intensity 1
    color 1 1 1
    direction 0 0 -1
    Shape {

    Hello,
DirectionalLigh are not yet supported by the APEX VRML Importer. That's the reason why you could not get them.
We are working on improving this feature for a future version of APEX, but nothing has been scheduled yet and I am not able to provide you a date or version for the implementation of the fix.
    Sorry for the inconvenience

  • Adobe Pro CC Update

I posted a long time ago, a few days ago about the encoder not functioning properly, just wanted to say that the update fixed everything, and the encoding process was very smooth without any glitches that caused the video to flicker, etc. Just wanted to take this little moment to apologize to the hardworking Adobe team et al.
    Thank you.

    Hi mark_m,
Not sure why the code creates a space. Strange. I updated my link and it did the same thing, but at least they now both work.
Thanks very much for adding the link to the "What's New" help doc. Very helpful.
I will leave it up to the product team to list any bug fixes. Sorry I can't help there.
    Thanks,

  • Where to download and re install my adobe pro extended.

get the above error message. Do not have down load saved and do  not have my serial number.

The image is too small to read the error message.

  • After a Adobe Pro XI update was downloaded (Windows) when creating a Comments Summary the text is now too large and unuaeable, how do I change the style and font size in a comments summary?

    Example of the Comment Summary

Sabian- We tried the steps you posted on 3 computers and it did not resolve the problem for us.
    All-
We have been manually reducing the font size in the comment summary (right-click > Edit Text). This makes the text readable, but it doesn't remove all the extra space or fix the flow. This is not ideal.
Has anyone entered a bug report on this problem? I entered a bug report on another problem about 2 years ago and the problem was never fixed in the product...
    Thanks-

  • Problem Signature Adobe 9 Pro Extended (Windows 7)

I am re-installing Adobe 9 Pro Extended with a clean (new) install of Windows 7 Home Premium, Intel 80GB G2 SSD.
I have installed, Adobe Flash, Air, Shockwave all with no issues.
Adobe 9 Pro Extended did install.
when I try to install updates from the "HELP" button inside of Adobe.. the first download it offers is an "Adobe Updater Install Manager".
Adobe Updater Install Manager is where the problem begins.

I have run the repair option twice and by the time anyone reads this maybe more! LOL!!
Windows Home Premium New Install (re-install)
Adobe 9 Pro Extended New Install (re-install)
Both were un-installed and re-installed in the same afternoon (yesterday).
The Adobe Updater Install Manager seems to be having a signature problem, as described or from what I can gather from the information communicated to me above.
I have been able to install the "Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 Extended - 3D update 16.3MB 11/24/2008" but the next download on the list "moving from the bottom of the list to the top or oldest first in order "Adobe Acrobat 9.1.1 Pro Extended update - multiple languages 9943KB 5/12/2009" will not load.. and I have am assuming I should install them in order? so the other 14 updates are as well waiting until I can get this little problem fixxed!
Thank You!! In Advance! For any information on how to fix this problem you may share.
    Be well, JW

The link above will get to you to the current download page
For the 9.0 Pro Extended try Adobe - Acrobat 9 Pro Extended : For Windows
However, it is missing update 9.1 NOT 9.1.1 which is the first one needed to move to the subsequent ones
Until Adobe decides to put it out there those of us with 9.0 are stuck for an update

  • Adobe Reader 9.3.4 and Pro Extended

I tried to upgrade to the 9.3.4 version of reader and it wouldn't let me for some reason. Something about a missing .msi file in one of the directories. So I used revo uninstaller to remove it and try to reinstall it. I redownloaded the program and the ran the Adobe Reader 9.3.4 Update - setup. It processes to 100 % and then closes. And nothing. so I don't know whats going on. I also downloaded the trial of Adobe Pro Extended and everything went fine up to the install screen. I click the install button and nothing happens, so no clue whats going on with that either. Any ideas?

I tried the first link to install reader and it simply runs to 100% and then closes.

Can you try installing the same from the following locations:
    ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.3.4/enu/AdbeRdr934_en_US.exe
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=acrobat_pro_extended
P.S. The error message that you received while updating Adobe Reader was  probably due to the fact that you may have deleted the cached setup  files on your system. Hence, it was prompting you to provide the  required installer file (.MSI file)

  • After Slipstreaming Updates Acrobat Pro Extended shows "STANDARD" edition

    Hi to everyone.
I slipstreamed all Adobe acrobat 9 Pro extended updates up to 9.3.3. it is showing  ' pro extended version' everywhere except when i click on the - help menu -> about acrobat 9 pro extended, and the pop up window shows - Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard.
I slipstreamed for about 3 times thinking there was an error somewhere. I installed adobe acrobat 3 times and the help menu still shows "Standard" edition.
    I used this command:
          eg:    msiexec.exe /a Acro3d.msi /p C:\AIP\AcrobatUpd933_all_incr.msp
Acrobat just works fine, but it's wired to show Standard edition when it is Pro extended.
Does it have to do with slipstreaming? If not can anyone help me with this issue Please?
    Thank you

    Hello
Can anyone Please tell me which file/dll/exe is in charge for showing in the 'About" menu:

  • Adobe pro X - uninstall - reinstall

recently on my mac (started withe mavericks),  i had to change my admin ID.  everything continued to work EXCEPT the adobe pro X updater.  tried adobe support.  they were useless.  after some time,  they said post your question to the adobe forum.   adobe pro, as an app, still works
when i try to update, i get error 1301.
all i want to do,  is to do a CLEAN uninstall and a do install.  i assume this will fix my problem.
can't do the uninstall.  the uninstaller seems not to be in the adobe folder (the alias). tried the cloud unistaller recommended by adobe support
before i start manually removing files (and if necessary use TERMINAL).
    please help

It seems that the uninstallation of acrobat was not successful and hence CC shows it as "Installed".
If you have uninstalled CS5.5 completely, you can also try using this cleaner tool : https://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html to clean all the remaining traces of CS 5.5 (use it carefully and chooe options carefully).

  • Adobe Pro 9 Extended will not update?

I can not copy and paste the code? the picture would be to small to read the problem window, so whats the point of this? I should have to type out 60 lines of code to describe a problem?

Thank You! All!! for taking the time to respond...
I re-installed Acrobat after a fresh install of my O.S. (Vista) beucase of service completed by HP...
So, let me start for the begining...
I have Vista Home Premium... Ultimate Office... and Adobe 9 Extended all installed on my 80GB Intell 2nd generation SSD... this all was already installed prior, a year ago or more and worked flawlessly for the entire time... until I spilled or more accurately sprayed windex on my keyboard which caused my lap top to be sent back to HP for service... at which time HP screwed with the drives... causing me to clean wipe / install everything again. Once again thanks for trying to help.
The codes I am getting are... once again this is a clean install (yes I have repaired, or choosen to repair in programs) and the first update will not .exe... and once again, this all worked perfect for me before for over a year.. thats the tuff part... if anyone whats to see all the codes I am happy to email the full code(s) to them since I can not clip and paste it here. Thanks for the responses, it really made my day... You guys are fantastic!
My best to you all, JW
