Adobe 9 Pro not working properly after upgrading to MS Office 2007
I have Adobe 9.0.0 Pro on my Windows XP machine. We had been using MS Office 2003 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc) and I had in my prologue.ps file added a bookmark to be added when I create a pdf. This worked fine. We then upgraded to MS Office 2007 and the bookmarks are now NOT created. The only difference is the change from Word 2003 to Word 2007. Also if I have a Word document with Times New Roman font and I create the pdf, the font changes from Times New Roman to something that looks like Arial. If I save the the document as a pdf, it changes the font. If I print the document as a Adobe pdf, it comes out find. Any suggestions on how to fix the issues?
Our machines are locked down for any changes. Any updated/upgrades/changes must be made by our IT folks.

Plug and play speakers not working properly after upgrading to Windows 8.1
After upgrading to Windows 8.1, my plug and play speakers do not work properly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled them, and restarted. When I try to play music, nothing comes out. If I turn them off and back on, music will play for approximately 30 seconds, only from one speaker, then it turns off and fades to no sound. They worked fine until I upgraded to Windows 8.1. The manufacturer has not been able to successfully assist me. Has anyone else reported a similar issue after upgrading OS software? Any suggestions? These are fairly new speakers, less than 2 years old, and not used very much. I do have them installed via a K-V switch, and all other devices linked to the K-V switch are functioning properly (monitor and wireless keyboard). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

2008 Macbook pro left click not working properly after upgrading to 10.6.8
I have a 2008 Macbook pro and a few months ago after upgrading to 10.6.8 my left click has been wonky.
Using the trackpad the left click eventually gets "stuck" or stops responding and I have to push it multiple times before it does anything. I have tried plugging in a mouse, but when I do so the mouse also behaves the same way. The only way I seem to be able to get the clicking to work properly is to restart the computer with the mouse attached.
I have seen threads about trackpads being messed up by swollen batteries, but my battery is brand new and looks fine, and the clicking problem extends to an external mouse, so I believe it is something with the preferences.
I tried deleting com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouchTrackpad.plist and restarting and the problem seemed to be fixed, but then after about a half hour it returned.
Having to keep a mouse plugged into my macbook is driving me crazy, anyone know a solution?I started having the same issue after update. I'm on a MacBookpro running 10.7.2
ICalled apple and they did a remove battery reboot, a reload lion and a option/command/R/P reboot on startup and then the computer started working. Two days later problem was back. I then did a reboot and the computer was back to working. Today the computer worked fine tell it went to sleep. I had to do a hard reboot to get the Mac up and running and now no left click. Please help. I can not use the Mac with the trackpad, a mouse, a Bluetooth mouse, or a digital pad. All so signs of left mouse click not working. One other item when you go to pick your user at startup the left mouse click works. Help! -

Recently we have upgrade our BW 3.5 system to BI 7.0 (Only system upgrade not applications ).
after the upgrade we are facing lot of issues with Bex Analyzer. The following are some of the issues
1) In BW3.5 after the execution of Workbook or query ,we can convert to local currency .
Right click on workbook -> Currency translation-> Database currency .
but after upgrade to BI7.0 this is not working ..
2) Characterstic Right click on workbook Dispaly as Key and Name is also not working ..
I know that Currency translation in BI7.0 works in different way compare to BW3.5 .we can use alternate option like By Target Currency from Database currency to convert to local currency and it is working fine in Bex,but businesss users want more friendly way ...because to select the above option they have to enter local currency and rate type ...
Do you we have any notes available for the above solutions ..?Do we need to upgrade Bex version also..?Is there any document which describe how the above things works after system upgraded to BI7.0?

Organize by conversation is not working properly after upgrade to Lion
After upgrading from 10.6 to 10.7 I've figured out that Mail Application is not very accurate with organizing by conversation. Mail from Snow Leopard was pretty nice. But after upgrade it started to make several conversation. This is very annoying especially when I'm working with support tickets.

I also tried Mozilla Thunderbird. It is organizing by thread very accurate.
Is there any way how to configure this in Mail? May be I'm doing something wrong?
I like all new features of new Mail programm, but it wi very annoying.

The portal Work protect mode value is set to '3' ("Choose action in popup on unsaved data") When we edit a standard ESS java Web Dynpro application and click exit, the portal should show us the Work protect mode popup. Instead, the portal exits to the overview page and when we try to navigate away from the overview page, it shows the work protect mode window. This was working fine before upgrade to SAP NW 7.4 SP 5.
Ok the first point of reference and analysis here is to check and review: Workprotect mode via the following navigation path:
System Admin-> System Configuration -> Service Configuration -> Under one of the services: Work protect mode property.
Now in terms of this popup kindly ensure the configurations are setup accordingly as per the following document:

Bluetooth not working properly after upgrade to iOS4
I upgraded my iPhone 3g to iOS4 the other day. Apart from running stupid slow now, and even though i've done numerous hard resets, the bluetooth doesn't work properly anymore.
If I switch off bluetooth, then switch it on, it connects fine. Once I disconnect though, that's it. I have to restart it again.
Looks like all those complaints about iphone 4 are actually and iOS4 BUG.
I wish I'd never upgraded now. Actually, that's not true. I wish Apple would help me DOWNGRADE my iphone 3g so i can use it again. I will not go and buy and iphone 4 just cos of this. If anything I'll switch to Android just because a) i'm not a fanboy and b) consumers should not be treated in such a belligerent manner.
So, anyone know how to resolve this bluetooth issue? It's got to the point where it's dangerous in the car because my phone rings and I have to recycle the bluetooth to connect it.

Your issue will be due to files named to include MessageSorting (which would mean you once have upgraded from a version of OSX earlier than 10.4), remove those, also, but never restore those. You will not have the files named to include MessageRules because you have not used Tiger.
To find the correct location for the Mail folder, open a Finder window, click on the icon of a house in the Sidebar (this is known often as "Home"), click on Library in that Home user directory, and then to open the Mail folder found there.

Camera lock screen iPhone 5 not working properly after upgrade to iOS 8
After I installed iOS 8 on the iPhones 5 of my and my wife's the camera on the lock screen isn't working properly anymore. When I swipe up, the camera starts but the screen turns black within less then a second.
On the iPad 2 and the iPad Air (both upgraded to iOS 8) I don't have this problem. It seems to be iPhone 5 specific.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?Having the same problem. I'm on an iPhone 5 and I have updated to 8.0.2. When I go to apps directly from the lock screen (timer, calculator, camera) it opens up then immediately turns into a black screen. It appears that removing my passcode fixes this bug, but I can't have an unsecured phone. Please help Apple!

Hi, has anyone experienced issues with there volume control icon randomly popping up after upgrading to ios 6.1 from 6.0 .
I have a 4th gen ipod touch which until upgrading to 6.1 from 6.0 was working perfectly.
Minutes after the upgrade I noticed the volume icon just popping up for no reason. I can turn the volume up now, but not down and it randomly appears on screen without anyone touching it. Weird! Can someone shed some light on this issue,I have reset and reloaded to factory several times now to no avail.

NI-DAQmx 8.8 does not work properly after upgrade to LabVIEW 8.6
Hi,
I just upgraded to LabView 8.6 from version 7.1 and found out that the NI-DAQmx 8.8 drivers do not install correctly, since there is not Measurement I/O tab in the Functions palette (see attached document). The curious thing is that I can see all my NI-DAQmx devices in the MAX, and they all test correctly, i.e., they are working correctly. The sales representative for my area recommended me to uninstall , and reinstall LV8.6 and then reinstall the NI-DAQmx 8.8 drivers, but it did not work. I still do not see the Measurement I/O functions and my application says that it "cannot compile" the NI-DAQmx vi's. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for your help. You are right, I uninstalled and reinstalled LabVIEW 8.6 (update from LabVIEW 7.1) and reinstalled DAQmx 8.8. I still continue to have some problem that seem (to me) beyond compatibility issues. Here are the answers to your questions:
1. Before you reinstalled DAQmx 8.8, did you
uninstall it? If not, then I believe that the installer would see the
driver already present and not actually make any changes.
REPLY: No, I did not uninstall DAQmx 8.8. What do you recommend? Should I uninstall BOTH LabVIEW 8.6 and DAQmx 8.8 and then reinstall everything again?
2. When you say that the VIs are not responsive,
could you describe this a bit better? Perhaps post one of the error
messages about compiling that you mentioned in your first post?
REPLY: I am having a lots of "This SubVI is not executable" error messages in many of the library VI's not even mine. See the attached file.
3. If you open the NI Example Finder (Help»Find
Examples) and the expand Hardware Input and Output»DAQmx»Analog
Measurements»Voltage, are you able to run one of the example programs
and see the correct values that you see in the Measurement and
Automation Explorer Test Panels?
REPLY: I tried to runa couple of the examples for continuous voltage acquisition (internal clock) and both open with errors (see attachement).

App Store not working properly after upgrading to Yosemite
After upgrading from Mavericks to Yosemite. I checked the App Store's icon to see that I have 6 updates. I launched the App Store and this was my window:
This is my Purchases tab (although I am signed in):
And this is my Updates tab (Although it says 6 updates. They should be iWork and the other new Yosemite updates.):
When I click on Store -> "View my account", it keeps on asking me to sign in forever.
Also when I click on "iCloud" in preferences, I get this error which I think is related:

Battery not working properly after upgrading to 10.8.5
Hi guys,
i have upgraded recently to OS X 10.8.5 and now battery charge is always 0% and battery charging light in green state; system is indicating "replace now" as battery condition;
the thing is that, before the upgrade, even if battery was not lasting more then 50 minutes (400 and more recharging cycles), it was fine;
now when I plug the power cable and boot the laptop, it seems is trying 3 times to boot;
I did check and I have the latest SMC firmware; trying to reset it as described in
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
did not work.
I suppose i have to bring it to the support but anyone with a similar issue?

yes, the update raised is probably picking up that my battery is not anymore in good condition; as it is indicating "replace now" as condition and Apple documentation states:
Replace Now: The battery is functioning normally but holds significantly less charge than it did when it was new. You can continue to use the battery until you replace it without harming your computer.
Saying "functioning normally but holds significantly less charge", I would expect the battery to keep at least the 50 minutes of charge (as before the upgrade); but now is not re-charging at all (0% always and green light status); and the consequence is that as soon as I unplug the power cable, the laptop will die. So I still believe there was something with the upgrade and the SMC firmware (my mac is a MacBookPro.8.2 early 2011).

Adobe is not working properly after cleaning out a virus

A while back there was a thread which ended up in the same situation that you appear to be in.
Premiere elements crashing when adding disc menu on a mac
There does not seem to be a fixed answer in it. One suggestion seemed to be opening a new project which had no problems with the menus and that would trigger the problem project to work. From what you have written, it sounded like you have been there and done that.
I think this is going to go to permissions and preferences. But, not being a Mac user, I do not have any first hand information on that.
A common ground approach would be the deletion of the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file. But, haven't you done that already? Worth doing it
again after all the recent troubleshooting?
How many Timeline markers are you using? Have you allowed for at least a few frames between each marker....and no stop marker at the end of
the last item on the Timeline?
