Adobe acrobat 8 standard - help neede with links!

I have a document with over 3000 pages, I need to put a link at the bottom of each page which will link back to a certain page. Obviously I would like to do this without actually having to put the link on each individual page. Is there any way of duplicating the link???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Requires Acrobat pro to use a button to do it.
Tools>forms>button
place button and add a link action. Right-click the button and select duplicate and enter the page range.

Help needed with link in AI

I am creating packaging artwork file in Illustrator with an embedded link to a jpeg pattern element. However, when I print the layout the embedded link is missing. This also happened on a second file which printed out OK on first 2 tries, then the link was also missing from the 3rd printout. What am I doing wrong?
I have many years experience working with Illustrator, this is the first time I have encoutered this problem, please help!

The artwork is built up in layers as follows:
1. Placed art background with clipping path (Jpeg created in Photoshop - no paths) embedded
2. Additional ground colours
3. box cutter
4. additional graphics - logos, text, additional placed art (small images embedded which print OK??!)
I embed placed images as I send ai artwork to print rather than PDF - the suppliers I work with are mostly China/India & they prefer ai files.
All placed images are CMYK.
I have tried re-creating the artwork from scratch, renaming the large link & replacing it in the boxart, removing the clipping path, flattening the artwork to a single layer. I can usually find a way round a problem, but this one has me & my colleagues stumped!

I have two licenses for adobe acrobat, but cannot find my software. Any help with a direct link to the standard version would be helpful.
The professional version does not work with the standard licens.

Adobe Acrobat Standard 9 won't pick up links in Word doc ...

That's it really, in a nutshell.
My new Adobe Acrobat Standard 9 doesn't pick up the bookmarked and url links in my Word doc.
As it's new, I'm wondering if it's just a settings problem?
I'd be grateful for any help. I've been referred all over the place today with this problem - spoken to one Adobe type person after another, and none of them know the answer.

Yes, Geoff and Bill ...I had already done all that.
But it is picking up some links and not others ... breaking some in half even.
For instance, on the Word doc, I have the hyperlink 'National Health Service', but all Acrobat picks up is 'Health Service'. The link goes to right bookmark in the Glossary for National Health Service, but the description is incomplete, just 'Health Service'.
In another instance, I have a series of links to bookmarked items in the same Glossary, which are separated by commas, thus:

The words "gynaecological, musculo-skeletal, urogenital, gastrointestinal" are each individually hyperlinked to different parts of the Glossary. But Acrobat only recognises the two middle ones - musculo-skeletal, urogenital. And for the other two, even the word disappears, so you just have blank, musculo-skeletal, urogenital, blank. It does, however, manage to 'see' the commas.
I hope someone can help, because it doesn't make any kind of sense to me, and I'm at my wits end.

I have recently had to re-install windows on my laptop.
My laptop came with Adobe Acrobat Standard X pre-installed. I have the card with the serial number on it that came with the laptop.
I now need to download Adobe Acrobat Standard X onto this laptop.
I don't have a previous adobe account, and also don't have a download history for this product, since it came pre-installed.
How can I download Adobe Acrobat Standard X?

Dell were really useful for everything *but* this.
I got my answer from the live chat feature from Adobe.
I was pointed to this page where I could download the correct previous version of either Acrobat Standard X, Acrobat Pro X, Acrobat Standard XI or Acrobat Pro XI.

At the top of the box it should say Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or Adobe Acrobat Standard DC.
On each of the two machines, what does it say? (I think something odd has happened)

Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.3.1 loads pages very slowly with Windows XP 64 bit version

Our company has purchased Dell Precision T3500 workstations with Intel XEON processor and 6 Gb of RAM. The operating system is Windows XP 64-bit version. The systems came with Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.3.1. Each one of these workstations load PDF files into Acrobat very slowly. Does anyone have a answer why?

Since when are you facing this issue? Did you tried system restore to a date before this problem occured.
Does acrobat stop working when you open this specific pdf file or with any pdf file that you open?

Acroexch error in Word 2010 x64 with Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.5

Hello, i get this error when im trying to insert a PDF into a word doument.
In Adobe Reader X it was the Protect Mode but in Acrobat Standard in don't have this Option.
Any ideas please?

The Problem has our General Manager.
I will try to explain the Problem a little bit better.
Our General Manager had a Windwos 7 32bit with Word 32bit and Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.5. When he inserted a PDF with Drag & Drop in Word all works fine.
Since he have a Windws7 64bit with Word 64bit and Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.5 he get a Acroexch error. I tried it on my Workstation and had the same error. Yesterday i tried it again on a Windws7 32bit with Word 32bit with Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.5 and it worked.
If i try to insert the PDF as a Object it works on both Systems. I saw now that Adobe Acrobat is a 32bit Version. Is there a 64bit version for Adobe Acrobat 9.5?
