Cannot update Adobe Acrobat for Mac from 11.0.0 to 11.0.01
Hi all. I cannot update my Adobe Acrobat from 11.0.0 to 11.0.01. There's been some error during the installation of the update. I have tried uninstall and reinstall for several times but didn't help. The error log is as follows:

After this error the whole install begins a cascade failure.
Bill@VT has the correct troubleshooting procedure though. Download the update and try updating locally rather than through the ARM updater. -
Does adobe acrobat for mac work safely on new iPad?
Is there anything safe that will work to be able to use flash?
There are multiple questions here:
1) Does Acrobat Mac run on the iPad - No, but we do have a Reader that does work and allows you to view PDF's, fill in forms, add annotations and signatures.
2) Is there anything "Safe" that runs flas on the iPad? There is no solution for running Adobe Flash on the iPad. -
Reinstalling Adobe Acrobat for Mac
Please can you help me - I have Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard on my mac, Acrobat is not working and I cant find my disk, but I do have my serial number, is there anywhere I can find it on the internet to reinstall.

I've learned something. New. This must be recently changed. That last time I clicked on a Link I though was a dmg file and turned out it was and exe file my Macs wouldn't allow me to do so. But haven't tried recently everytime and exe file comes up I cancel. I gues I am used to the time everytime a Virus or some other nasty was downloaded it was packaged in and exe file and Macs owuldn't allow it. I suppose with the INtel guts now they can no longer refuse to download. -
Certificate Error when downloading Acrobat for Mac
I am trying to install the trial version of Adobe Acrobat for my Mac (OS X 10.9.5), and I keep getting this error. I was originally getting a different message, but I have since uninstallated Adobe Air and reinstalled. I deleted all downloads, emptied the trash, restarted my computer and tried to download Acrobat again, but this is still showing as an issue. I have gone through numerous forums for help, but so far nothing has worked.

Are you facing the issue with any pdf's on the Mac.
Have you tried downloading a sample pdf like any Adobe help file from the website and then check if you are able to launch it fine via Reader?

ThanksWell, you can download as often as you want. You can install as often as you want. You just won't be able to activate it and use it beyond the 30day trial period without a serial. Buy a separate license for your PC or swap your Mac license.

Expandable text fields in acrobat for mac?
I need to design a interactive form (on a mac) that has interactive text fields that are dynamic, expandable and flow. Basically, I have static questions that have to be answered, and depending on the amount of copy that the user puts in, the copy will flow down.
Im fairly familiar with the workings of interactivity, but i have done some searches for this feature in acrobat pro for mac, and I am not coming up with anything. Is there some coding I could add, or some way of doing this on mac base?
Does Acrobat X for mac allow this functionality?
I really need to get this done, and pretty disappointed that such simple functionality is not included in acrobat for mac. Or is it, and Im jut missing it? Is there a runaround way I could do this?

Well, like other Companies rather than than creating one master code That just needs to change for differences in the look and Feel.
Because The Mac Market is not as Large as PC, they don't put as many features in the Mac Version. That's the way its always been. They think we will put up with shortcomings. And and the sad fact is we do. Just to have any Software. Office2011 comes about as close to Parity as any software out there. It now has Outlook and uses the same Macro Engine as the PC version. However, it still has features missing that in the PC version. And some of the Macro commands that work on PC won't work on Mac (ActiveX Controls for one).
Its just the cards we are dealt. Until the Mac Market becomes equal Parity with The PC Market Then we will have the power to have decent software. -
Problems with BBC iPlayer Desktop and Adobe Air for Mac
I would be grateful for anyone who can help me with a problem I have on my Laptop running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3.I am having difficulty running BBC iPlayer Desktop and I suspect it is caused by Adobe Air.
Recently I was prompted to update Adobe Air to the latest version (as of February 2012) and after I successfully updated the program, this began to cause problems when I used BBC iPlayer desktop.
The first problem I noticed was that I was unable to play any downloaded programmes in full screen - only the sound played, not the video.
Secondly, a few weeks after this problem began, all my TV programmes mysteriously disappeared.
My final problem is that everytime I launch BBC iPlayer it is unable to download new programmes - when I am connected to the internet, the application still says it is "offline".
I have tried to resolve the problem by restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling BBC iPlayer, disabling and re-enabling my firewall, connecting to the internet in different locations but this has not resolved the problem.
I tried to uninstall Adobe Air, but the installation package tells me it is 'corrupt'. So I tried to download and reinstall the application from the adobe website, but the computer already recognises that the app is installed. i.e. - I can't uninstall or reinstall Adobe Air.
I contacted BBC iPlayer support and they were unable to help - directing me to your website. I have read several other discussion topics posted on this website but not found the solution I am looking for.
Please can some help me to solve this problem, by helping me uninstall and reinstall Adobe Air for Mac?
I am not very technical minded - for example - I don't know what log files are or how to find them - so please explain it as simply as possible.

RyanJust had the same thing happen AGAIN. Suddenly - a blank iPlayer Desktop which failed to download new programmes. All previous programmes were still in the repository folder. This time the sequence I outlined previously didn't work.
What eventually got things working this time was to reinstall Adobe Air as part of the BBC iPlayer Desktop installation process - and not separately.
So:
a) Move iPlayer to trash.
b) Find and delete the following folder: Users/Yourname/Library/Preferences/BBCiPlayerDesktop.61DB7A798358575D6A969CCD73DDBBD 723A6DA9D.1
c) Find and delete the following folder:
Users/Yourname/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AIR/ELS/BBCiPlayerDesktop.61DB7A798358575D6A969CCD73DDB BD723A6DA9D.1
d) Find and delete the following folder:
Users/Yourname/Movies/BBC iPlayer/repository/cache
e) Find and run: Applications/Utilities/Adobe AIR Uninstaller
f) Empty the Trash. I found that bits and pieces of BBC iPlayer were still running despite having been quit and dumped in the trash - and so it wouldn't allow me to complete this part. Restarted the computer, then empty the trash.
g) Find the folder: Users/Yourname/Movies/BBC iPlayer/repository and rename it repository2
h) Reinstall iPlayer. It will tell you that you have no programmes to view. Quit the programme.
i) Find and delete the folder: Users/Yourname/Movies/BBC iPlayer/repository
j) Find the folder: Users/Yourname/Movies/BBC iPlayer/repository2 and rename it to repository.
k) Relaunch iPlayer
It would be terribly nice if the BBC or Adobe stopped buggering about with this . . . -

Adobe Reader for Mac messes up my mouse driver
After installing the latest version of Adobe Reader for Mac on Tiger 10.4, viewing any .pdf file has the effect of changing many of my single mouse clicks into double mouse clicks until reboot. It begins when I click on the page-down sidebar and the reader jumps ahead two pages. Next, randomly about 80% of my mouse clicks become double-clicks in any application until I reboot. I thought I had seen this problem in an earlier version but it seemed to resolve itself. With the latest reader, right after reading a .pdf file I have the double-click problem.
I've dragged everything I could find from Adobe into the trash bin and use "Preview" to view pdf file. No double-click problem.If you subscribed you will get a new email for every post here. Otherwise you have to manually check. What you are seeing is not typical. I'd try the typical troubleshooting techniques.
1) Fixing Permissions.
2) Emptying various system caches.
I'd recommend you get a copy of Applejack. It can do all that and find disk directory issues. Cost is reasonable---free. -

Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there.
