Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard Serial Number

I puchased a copy of Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard that came with a Dell Vostro 1710. I have since stopped using that Laptop and moved the Adobe Acrobat to a workstation with is a older Dell Dim 8400. I am now replacing that workstation with a New Dell XPS 8500 and wish to move the AA 9.0 Standard to this workstation.
Somewhere along the line I lost the Serial Number but have the install CD. I pulled the serial number from the Dell Dim 8400 and inserted it into the install for the Dell 8500 but get "Invalid Serial Number".
I'm only running the software on one system....do I need to deactivate on the older system first? I did not have this problem when I moved it from the older Laptop to the older workstation.

The serial number might be on the system, but only in encrypted form. As long as you registered or can provide proof of purchase, the Adobe folks may be able to help.

I purchased acrobat standard and have a serial number and order number but in Internet Explorer and Google Chrome it is marked as invalid number when I try to install it. Also, you can only use it on two computers if they belong to the same person, are used only by that one person, and are not used at the same time. To install on two computers for two people needs two licenses. Adobe sell volume licenses, but do not sell an "all the computers in the office" license.

Adobe Acrobat Pro serial number will not install or register

I just purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and tried to install it on my computer. I entered the serial number and registered it. However, every time i open the program, it warns me that my 30 day trial will expire in 0 days. I click on "license this software" and enter the serial number again, and register it again. It works for one instance of use, then the insanity begins all over, and the trial expiration message pops up next time i open the program.
I have tried uninstalling the software, then running the adobe cleaning tool, restarting the computer, then installing the software again. This did not solve the problem.
It is nearly impossible to talk to a human being at Adobe customer support.
Can anyone help me?

I have Adobe Acrobat 9 on an old laptop. I downloaded Acrobat 9 from here Download Acrobat products | 9, 8 to my new computer. I looked up the serial number on My Adobe, and have tried both pasting and typing it into the installation form.
I keep getting an "invalid serial number" message.
Please help.

Adobe Acrobat XI Serial Number Validation Error

(2) After clicking the icon I receive a message that theSerial Number is Valid but product could not be found on computer.
(3) There is a dropdown list of Adobe products to look for but Adobe Acrobat XI is not included.
(4) Now what?

You've entered an upgrade serial number.
The XI installer is saying that it accepts your upgrade serial number but cannot find an earlier qualifying product on your computer. You must have upgraded at some point in the past.
So it's asking you to select an earlier qualifying version from the dropdown list (Acrobat 9 or X) and enter the serial number from that version to prove you are eligible to use the Acrobat XI upgrade serial number.

Didn't receive my adobe acrobat professional serial number

I ordered and purchased my Adobe Acrobat Professional XI software. I have tried it for 30 days and decided to purchase it. I did using my credit card online. I received a confirmation of purchase with a code and the message informed me that they will send me another email within 1 hour with the serial number. Unfortunately, since I received this message yesterday, I did not receive the serial number message. I checked my credit card and the payment was successfully made. Can you help?

I can't read any pdf files even though I purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro specifically to get a serial number which I never received, in order to read pdf files. EVERY time I click on a pdf a notice pops-up telling me to enter my serial number. How do I get my serial number?

Did you buy a subscription? If so, there is no serial number. Just make sure you are signed in to Acrobat with the same Adobe ID as you used to buy the subscription.

May be you are installing the upgarde veriosn of the Acrobat X and hence it is asking for the Acrobat 7 serial number ., when you buy and install the upgarded veriosn then at the time of installation you have to enter the serail number of the product from which you have upgraded in this case it is Verison 7 , hence

I was hoping to see if anyone could help me out with this. I recently bought a new laptop, and obviously, I was stuck a few days moving everything from my old one to my new one. So when it came to install the Adobe Acrobat Standard 9 in the new computer, I noticed that the installer here at the Adobe Web Page is not accepting my serial number for that product. And additionally, I don't see the installer for the Premiere Elements 8 and I don't know if the Photoshop Elements 8 installer in the web page is gonna do the same thing like the Acrobat Standard 9. You need to go to the respective machines and launch Acrobat and check if it prompts for serial number.
You can also go to the help menu and check if 'Deactivate' option is highlighted.

I have a serial number I have obtained 12-2013. I have formatted by computer and want to reinstall the Adobe Acrobat Standard. Where can I download it from?

It is a top-level link, but the link has been purposely hidden off the bottom of every page on their site unless you scroll down. It was certainly a conscious choice to do that. It would be interesting to hear the rationale.
One way to look at it would be: if things were easier to find on the website (weren't purposely hidden for beauty's sake) there would be less calls to support and if there were less calls to support there wouldn't need to be an embargo on Phone and Chat support for everything except basic installation and question related to Creative Cloud, and everything else directed to the forums.
