Adobe Acrobat öffnet dotx-Daten

Hallo Zusammen
Habe folgendes Problem:
In unserem Netzwerk ist eine PDF-Datei mit Verlinkungen auf Office Vorlagedokumente abgelegt.
Unsere Clients verwenden den Adobe Reader 11 sowie den Adobe Acrobat 11 in der aktuellsten Version.
Wenn nun die User mit dem Reader 11 das PDF öffnen und auf einen Button klicken (Beispiel: Server\Dateipfad\Dateiname.dotx) wird wie wir es von Office kennen die Vorlage in ein normales Word-Dokument umgewandelt.
Wenn nun die User mit dem Acrobat 11 das PDF öffnen, wird jedes mal die *.dotx Datei geöffnet und nicht wie beim Reader in ein normales Word-Dokument umgewandelt. Habe bereist die Voreinstellungen vergleichen, jedoch einen Hinweis gefunden warum dies so ist.
Könnt Ihr mir hier weiterhelfen? Der Acrobat 11 soll genau das gleiche tun wie der Reader.

Dies hatte ich bereits auch schon versucht, nur ist Office so gut und möchte beim Speichern das Dokument immer als Vorlage dann speichern (mit und ohne Schreibrechte auf dem Serverpfad).
Somit habe ich anschliessend diverse Vorlage-Dokumente in den einzelnen Projektordnern anstelle einer *.dotx Datei

Hallo zusammen,
wir haben aktuell das Problem, dass sich bei einem Kunden die Online-Hilfe nicht öffnen lässt.
nach ca. 1 Minute Wartezeit erscheint die Fehlermeldung: "Online-Hilfeinhalt kann nicht angezeigt werden. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie Ihren Webbrowser starten können und dass Sie Zugang zum Internet haben."
Der Browser funktioniert, Verbindung zum Interneh besteht ebenfalls. Wir vermuten, dass das Problem durch den Proxy hervorgerufen wird. Kann man im Adobe Acrobat X Pro irgendwo einen Proxy hinterlegen? Auch über eine andere Lösung wäre ich sehr dankbar!

Offenbar denkt sich bei Adobe niemand was dabei, dass sie ein Know-how-Dokument dafür brauchen, damit ihre Benutzer an ihre Hilfe kommen - mir wäre das peinlich.
Dagegen war ja selbst die niemals kontextsensitive Hilfe der Vorversionen und anderer Adobe-Software noch Gold - die war zwar nur selten hilfreich, aber man bekam sie wenigstens ...

Adobe Acrobat 11 stürzt ab, wenn mehre Dateien geöffnet sind

Hallo,
ich benutze Adobe Acrobat 11 Pro auf einem Mac Book Air mit OS X Yosemite 10.10. Sobald ich mehre PDF's gleichzeitig offen habe, stürzt Adobe ab. Ich habe das Programm schon einmal deinstalliert und neu raufgespielt, aber das Problem besteht weiterhin.
Hat jemand eine Idee, was zu tun ist?

Textfeld aus Exel nach Adobe Acrobat Pro XI

Folgende Anforderung: in Exel / Open office calc wird eine Tabelle erstellt in der sich neben normalem Text auch "textfelder" befinden. Die Datei wird anschließend in PDF gespeichert und verschickt. Eine fremde Person öffnet das PDF und kann in den Textfeldern etwas eintragen, speichern und das PDF zurücksenden. Anschließend wird es vom Absender in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI geöffnet und wieder in eine Mircrosoft Exel Arbeitsmappe exportiert. Wird sie nun in Exel geöffnet sind alle Daten vorhanden, inclusive der ausgefüllten Textfelder.
Problem: alles funktioniert bis auf die Textfelder. Die sind am Ende in Exel immer leer, bzw. nicht sichtbar.
Ich habe momentan eine 30 Tage testversion, der Kauf hängt davon ab ob diese Funktion möglich ist.
Ich freue mich über jeden guten Rat.

Dynamische Benutzerdaten sind was anderes als normale PDF Daten. Das wird so nix werden. Da müßte man eher Felder anlegen, die die Daten direkt per Mail, Skript oder den Umweg über einen Datenbankserver ausspucken, also LiveCycle Kram...

Adobe Acrobat 9 prof. Vers. 9.5.5. Fehlerprotokoll

Ich habe ein Problem mit Adobe Acrobat 9 prof. Vers. 9.5.5. Wenn ich eine pdf-Datei erstellen will (z.B. aus Dateien, Webseiten etc), erscheint regelmäßig ein FP:
Funktion "Einstellungen-Datei wird geöffnet oder erzeugt" konnte nicht beendet werden, Datei entweder schreibgeschützt oder von einem anderen Benutzer verwendet….
Ich klicke dann auf ok, und die pdf wird dann trotzdem korrekt erzeugt. Reparaturinstallation habe ich versucht, und benutzerdefinierte Einstellungen, die evtl. stören, sind nicht vorhanden.
Hat jemand einen Rat?

Ich habe den Übeltäter inzwischen ausfindig gemacht. Ich habe ein älteres QuiteImposing als plugin installiert, und wenn ich das entferne, reagiert Acrobat wieder normal. Woran diese Unverträglichkeit liegt, weiß ich nicht, aber immerhin ist die Ursache damit zunächst geklärt.

Kennt sich jemand noch mit dem Adobe Acrobat 9 aus?

Ich habe seit einigen Wochen alle Dokumente mit dem Adobe Acrobat 9 bearbeitet. Mir ist heute von einem meiner Kunden aufgefallen, dass er die PDF mit seinem Smartphone geöffnet hat und die "nicht bearbeitete" Version des Dokuments geöffnet hat. Er benutzt das vorinstallierte Smartphone APP "Polaris Office". Wie kann man die Datei so speichern, dass man es mit allen PDF (ob Adobe oder Polaris Office o.ä.) programmen öffnen kann ohne das es zurück in die "nicht bearbeitete" Version öffnet?

Damit meinte ich: ich bekomme eine pdf von person x und diese ist eine pdf die man online nichts eintragen kann bzw auch keine haken einsetzen kann. Person x schickt mir diese pdf per email. Ich lade es runter und bearbeite die mit adobe acrobat 9 und mach so Kästchen rein wo man drauf klickt um einen haken einzusetzen. In den anderen bereichen kann man eintippen und zahlen einsetzen. Diese pdf speicher ich ab und schicke diese bearbeitete pdf an person y damit er dann haken setzen kann und seine details eintippen kann. Person y bekommt die bearbeitete pdf von mir per email zugeschickt im anhang. Der öffnet sie einem anderen pdf reader wie zb polaris office. bzw downloaded er es und bekommt aber die pdf die person x zu mir geschickt hatte (die unbearbeitete version).die Kästchen sind alle weg die ich drauf gemacht und abgespeichert habe.

How do you deploy adobe acrobat xi from creative cloud for enterprise?

We purchased Creative Cloud Enterprise and our new supervisor wants adobe acrobat on all computers. I downloaded the package through Creative Cloud and used the customization wizard to customize the msi in the exceptions folder just like the instructions said. I followed the steps and deployed it out using Dell Kace. When a user tries to open Acrobat, it tells them they have a trial version and they must register the product. The instructions for the customization wizard said not to put the creative cloud serial number into the customization tool. Is there something I'm missing with deploying adobe acrobat and creative cloud?

I'm not a CC expert, but I think normally admins configure Acrobat and then deploy everything via the Creative Cloud Packager. Acrobat certainly needs to be licensed, so when you only have a CC license, it's best to deploy in a standard way so that Acrobat get serialized with the license you have.

ETSI Technical Specification (TS) 102 778 contains five parts:

The short answer is yes.
Acrobat 8 and later support all of requirements of PAdES such as serial signing, long term validation (time stamping and embedded revocation responses) and signatures in the PKCS#7 format.

Why is default scan in Adobe Acrobat 9.3.1 legal size

I have HP LaserJet with new software. I scan directly from Adobe Acrobat 9.3.1 (Windows 7, 64 bit). The only scanner I can find in dropdown is WIA. I do not see the twain driver - even though I can scan with twain driver in the HP scanning application. The problem i am experiencing is that when I scan directly from Acrobat (using the only dropdown available - WIA - ) the scan is "legal size" and not "letter size." The only option for paper size is to select paper size automatically.
I would very much like to be able to scan directly from Acrobat and have letter size documents appear as letter size documents. Please help.

Try this, it worked for me in Acrobat v.8
Start an Acrobat scan.
In "Acrobat Scan" window select "Scanner Options"
In "Scanner Options" window select "User interface: Show Scanner's Native Interface"
Click OK on "Scanner Options" window
Click Scan on "Acrobat Scan" window
Next you will be asked to save the PDF file. After this a window should open that gives you an option to select paper size and document type.
I found locations in my HP Printer/Scanner to set paper size but I don't think the information is passed from the printer to Acrobat. I suspect it is an HP problem but they are total dolts about doing anything but pointing the fingure at Adobe.
Hope this works for you. It is very cumbersome but it yields the right results.

Saving a Form created in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro

We create forms for the company to use with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, but because others do not have Acrobat 9 Pro they can not save the document after they have filled out the form. This is causing a big issue for us. Does anyone know a way that we can create a Form in Acrobat 9 Pro that allows others to fill it out using just the plain version of Adobe (guessing they only have Reader) and then they can save it to their desktop?

You need to apply the Extended Reader Rights to it from the Advanced menu in
Acrobat.

Getting overprint preview preference in Adobe Acrobat 9

yesterday I installed the Adobe Acrobat 9 Trial and I tried my plugin.
Does anyone know how to get the overprint preview setting?
In older version of Adobe Acrobat I'm using following code:

m_section is "Originals" and m_name is "OverPrintPreview".
In Adobe Acrobat 9 it always returns the default value m_requiredValue_9 which means that the setting can not be found?
Do I have to change the value of m_section or m_name or do I have to use an other method?

I'm having a problem with securing specific fields. Not sure if that can be done. I have a form that I created in LiveCycle Designer and the forms contains fields that create a basic calculation for example (Qty+Price=Total). I want those fields to be field out by our sales people and I want them to save the form with the info. field in and email to customer as a quote basically, but I don't want the customer to be able to change those numbers, but I do want the customer to fill in other portions of the field. Having a problem doing this cause Acrobat is only letting me secure the whole form and not just portions. Is there a way to only secure portions of a form. Please help ASAP.

Vermutlich gar nicht, soweit ich die Infos überschaue. Bestenfalls als DWG exportieren und dann in Acrobat importieren. Da ADesk aber das Format jedes Jahr erweitert/ ändert um allen anderen den Spass zu verderben, gibt's dafür keine Garantie. SAT könnte auch funzen. Ansonsten gibt's sicher irgendwo ein schnuckeliges Export-Plugin für sowas zu kaufen...

Centering Headers and Footers in Adobe Acrobat 9

I've read past posts about the inability to center a multi-line header or footer in Adobe Acrobat 9, and the fact that it was not fixed in Acrobat 9. Is anyone working on a fix, other than manually entering spaces to center the header or footer? The frustrating thing about attempting this manual fix is that the preview one sees while entering the header/footer information DOES center the text, so that one does not have an accurate view of what will show on the page. I know that one of the suggestions is to add this information before converting the document to Adobe Acrobat. However, this occurred in a document I scanned using HP software, in which I requested that it be immediately converted to a PDF. Unfortunately, as far as I can find, HP does not keep the original scan (unlike PaperPort), so I'd have to re-scan the document. In the future, I will convert to Word, add the header, and then convert to PDF.

Working with percentages in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro

So, I have a quick question. I am new to working with forms in acrobat, and am having a hard time figuring this part out. If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it!
So I have a form that I've created in acrobat 9 pro. Below I have listed "individual 1:" and then "percentage allocation". The "percentage alloctions" are the different form fields for the percentages I've created. For each form field, I limited the values to not exceed 100%. I want individuals filling in this form to be able to fill in the percentages by each of the names without the TOTAL percentage value (of all three together) going over 100%. But...the trick is, I don't have a separate "Total" form field, there's no room for one. So is there a way to make it so the total of the three equals 100% without having a "total" form field?

Thank you for sending me that reference guide, that will help. This is extremely frustrating for me. Thank you for the field visible or hidden script...I did end up finding those yesterday, just didn't know how to incorporate them to become visible if the total number is less than 100.
I ended up creating another text field right next to the total, and called it "statement". I marked this field as "hidden" through the general properties option in the adobe acrobat dialog box. And , I set up default text to read, "Total value must not be less than 100%". All of this, I did through the properties dialog box.
Individual 1: 30
Individual 2: 20
Individual 3: 10
Total: 60%             "statement" text field is here.
I figured what I could do is add another "if statement" to the validation script I put in for the "Total" text field I already had (below)..don't know if that was a stupid thing to do or not, but didn't know how else to do it. And where it says getField, I added the "statement" text field (the one that is hidden), thinking it would just get that field, but it's not working, what did I do wrong?

Creating Back navigation in Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard

I have a huge pdf - actually an e-book - of more than 350 pages. Each page contains a health therapy with certain words hyperlinked which go to an explanation in the glossary, which is towards the end of the document. This means that the reader could click off page 9 to find themselves in page 320, and then after they've got their explanation, they will want to return to their original page (9).
So how do I get them back easily?
On Acrobat 7, there was a way of doing this. And it is explained here in this tutorial:

The way to do it is found in Lesson 4, Section 3. It says:
* In the Actions pane select the "Execute a menu item" then click on the "Edit" button.
* The Menu Item dialog box presents itself. Select, from the menu, "View>Go To> Previous View.
My problem is that none of these navigation titles such as Actions, or Bookmarks Properties, or Execute a Menu Item appear in my Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard.
And I'm not even sure whether Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard can perform this navigation tool, or whether it is only available in Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional. I rang Technical Support, but they didn't know. So they referred me to Customer Services, but they didn't know. So Customer Services referred me to Sales, and they didn't know ...
So please can anyone here help? I would be very grateful.

The problem is that the form has to be filled out and then submitted via email, as you mentioned the email clients have trouble, I do not have a problem with the amount of submissions as I do not think I will ever hit the max on the form.
I have been doing some digging, can I use "Extend Forms Fill-In & Save In Adobe Reader" function on the form so the users can fill out the form and then save it? And if so are you also able to have the "submit Form" function with this or can it only be one or the other?
