Adobe Acrobat Pro "Multiple Licensed"

Hi,
I've been look thought the forums but, not much lucky.
At the moment we have the Adobe CS2 installed on our 30 machines with 3 licenses on the server.
Just wondering is there a similar product for Acrobat Standard or Pro ?
I just want staff to edit/merge various PDF's into one file - If there is one can you print as well without using distiller.

Maybe not what you are looking for but the server product Adobe
LiveCycle PDF Generator does server-side conversion to PDF. However,
it does not do merging: for that you'd want Acrobat.

Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 License Problems

We have successfully installed Acrobat Pro 9.3 on several Windows XP machines, but on others when we try to install we get an error stating that we have an invalid serial number. It is an enterprise serial number, and like I said does work for most machines.
Any ideas on why the license works for some but not others.

They are setup the same. The weird thing is I can install Adobe Acrobat 8 just fine on the machines that will not allow me to install 9.

How can I add a button to add multiple image in PDF from using adobe acrobat pro?

I have to create a pdf form using Adobe Acrobat Pro X.
In this form I want to add a button where I can add multiple images to the field.
I have tried using javascript event.target.buttonImportIcon(); and successfully add an image, but when I want to add the 2nd image it automatically overwrites the previous one.
Is there any way to solve this issue? I would like to have a form where I can add a lot of images in it. It is possible in word, but we really have to use adobe.

Hi thanks for your answer.
I can add multiple button, but if there are 10 images that I wan to add, then I have to create 10 buttons.
Moreover, the pictures will be placed on top of each other and it means that you cannot see it clearly.

Adobe Acrobat pro 9.4.6 crashes when opening multiple files simultaneously.

We have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 which has been updated to version 9.4.6. we had this problem when the 9.4.5 update was applied also. It is now crashing when we try to open multiple files simultaneously.
Yesterday, I narrowed down the problem to 6 plugins:
IA32
ADBC
eBook
EScript
HLS
PPKLite
SaveAsRTS
However, we discovered that that Comments and markup tool bars weren't loading. So I did a repair install on it.
Now those plugins from yesterday work and Acroform.api is causing it to crash when opening multiple files.
I did try other suggestion that involved using Icacls/cacls on dll files to no avail.
It is running on XP SP3 fully updated with plenty of RAM and HDD space.
Is there a way to fix this without reinstalling?

I am not sure what's causing this problem on your machine because everything's working fine for me.
What is the version of Acroform.api on your machine now.
Do a Repair after deleting this file and see if it works.
Enable Windows MSI logging (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314852) before you do a repair, upload that log to some file sharing server, and paste its link here.

I have a license to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - can I use it in the mobile app?

I recently bought the license to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for my computer and now I want to extend my possibilites with the mobile app. Is it possible in some way to use the bought license in the mobile app? Because I'm requested to buy additional packages when I for example wants to export a pdf?

I am can understand your concern & will guide you in the right direction. Can please let me know if you have a subscription for Adobe Acrobat DC Pro or its a Perpetual licence?
As with perpetual licence you won't be able to use the extended functionality on the mobile app. by using the same licence and it will prompt you for the additional package. However if its a subscription you just need to simply Sign In to the mobile app. using your Adobe ID with which you serialized the Acrobat DC Pro on the computer to use these functionality.

My licensed copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0 will not load - the disk just isn't recognized by our drives any longer. How do I get a replacement disk? BTW - Adobe support seems to be the worst I've ever experienced from any single company. I am getting no where! It took me forever to find this forum and I am not expecting any results. Yes, command+click will work to select multiple comments. However, I'm working with some PDFs that have a substantial number of comments and this is taking quite some time to select them all. Additionally, it is tricky to click some of them, and if I mis-click, all the selection work is undone and everything becomes deselected. I'd like to know if there is a simpler way to select many multiple comments, such as a simple drag selection in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.

If you just want to save a pdf opened in Safari to your machine use the save as option from within the Reader plugin window. Just click on any of the buttons highlighted in below screenshots to Save a pdf at any location on your machine.

To summarize the issue, if you had opened an Internet PDF in a browser plug-in, you must use the save feature in the plug-in, not the Safari File > PDF Export, or File > Save As...
Please let us know if this solution works for you and you are able to save and view PDFs files locally.

Jmmussat, no, it is NOT a browser problem, I have tried several now.
I suspect it could be very bad luck and not a purposeful block so customers like me, with old licenses, will be forced to purchase.

There is no seperat CS6 install app.
In the map "Payloads" I find
AcrobatProfessional10.0-EFG etc

and many other files including

AdobeDreamweaver files etcetera
So I can't find a separate "CS installer"

I install stand alone on my MacBook Air. Since this MBA has no disc drive I use the disc drive of my iMac. I copied the installation disk to my iMac and then with "sharing" from my iMac to MBA.

I have the correct License Key which I checked on Adobe License site but when I enter it
is says it's incorrect

Problem solved,
I found the original Adobe installation files on our system that we used to first intall Acrobat Pro.
Using these files with the correct volume license key we were able to install the programme on our new Computers.
I was also informed by Adobe Help that I could also download these file from the Adobe License website after logging in.
