Adobe Acrobat Pro subscriptions - single user

I subscribed for a single user for Adobe Acrobat Pro for one of my team to use, but the Adobe registration pages don’t seem to allow for this.  I tried a chat line and asked the question – they simply just didn’t get it.   This is just so simple and the registration management and account pages are just so complicated – why isn’t it a simple matter of assigning the user as you do in Creative Cloud account user management pages.
Help -

Hi Emrysg,
Please let me know what you mean when you say "Adobe registration pages don't seem to allow this".
Are you not able to use the software?
What error do you get?

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription

I am currently considering buying the Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription service.
I am quite new to cloud computing and I do not have a fast internet connection. Also at times I need to work offline such as when travelling in trains and aircraft.
Does this mean that all work I will be doing with PDFs will now be in a browser?
Am I able to store my documents locally?
Is there a local installation that comes with the online subscription that allows me to work offline also?
How well does Adobe Acrobat Pro work if the user's internet connection is slow?
It would be great if Adobe could address these sorts of basic questions in an FAQ page - or if there is one make it easier to find because I didn't see one!
I would appreciate any advice or feedback from users who have already subscribed.
    Thanks

Does this mean that all work I will be doing with PDFs will now be in a browser?
No, you will be in Adobe Acrobat as you are familiar with now and it will be installed on your drive just like it always has been installed.
Am I able to store my documents locally?
Yes of course you are.  You don't have to save anything in the cloud that you don't want to save in the cloud.  The cloud storage is a convenience.
Is there a local installation that comes with the online subscription that allows me to work offline also?
Yes, the installation is local.  Only the licensing is in the "cloud".  You DO need to be signed into the Creative Cloud but that's about it.  If you are disconnected it doesn't matter unless it is for extended periods.  Think weeks.
How well does Adobe Acrobat Pro work if the user's internet connection is slow?
Again the only thing that gets checked in the cloud is the licensing and that is on a timeframe setup by Adobe

  • I have an Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription without a serial number.  After a format of my hard drive, how to I reconnect with my program

I have an Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription without a serial number.  In a needed reformatting of my hard drive, Adobe Acrobat was removed.  How do I get access to my Adobe program again?

    Hi,
Go to http://www.adobe.com and sign-in with you Adobe ID ( on which you purchased the subscription).
Then, on right hand side panel, click on 'Desktop' under Apps section. And then location Acrobat XI Pro and download it.

  • I have an Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription, but I can't find where to download the software for my laptop.

I see the page labeled "manage" my subscription, but I can't figure out where to go to find the link to download the software to my laptop.  I have it installed and running on my desktop machine, but I thought I could run in on both my desktop and my laptop using the same subscription.

sign in with your adobe id and download, https://creative.adobe.com/

  • Individual, Creative cloud, single app, Adobe Acrobat Pro X1, Forms and Responses allowed

    Dear forum,
Firstly many apologies if this is a stupid question or if it has been answered before, but I'm very new to using FormsCentral only in the past few days.
I purchased an Individual Creative cloud, single app plan at £17.58 per month for only Adobe Acrobat Pro X1, I am able it seems allowed to create forms etc, however are there any responses per form limit for my subscription? when looking at the features for the Adobe Acrobat Pro X1 product it only says FormsCentral is included and does not suggest any limitations. However, I've seen other comments which suggest needing to upgrade, but I have not seen any messages asking me to. I would prefer to know the limitations now rather than doing an important project form and then suddenly see messages appear once 50, or so responses have arrived  ?
Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.
    kind regards
    kevin

    Hi,
You get a free subscription with FormsCentral with Acrobat Pro XI. You will only be able to create one form and collect 50 responses. To get more functionality, you'll need to upgrade to basic or plus plan. Please check out Pricing options - Free, Basic, and Plus options | Adobe FormsCentral.
    Thanks,
    Wenlan

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro vs Adobe Create PDF subscription

What is the difference between purchasing Adobe Acrobat Pro and subscribing to Adobe Create PDF? Can either of these be used / installed on more than 1 computer?

Acrobat is a much more feature-rich application than the CreatePDF service.
CreatePDF is a web-based service that can be used for, as the name implies, creating PDF files from virtually any format.  You also get the ability to convert existing PDF files to Word, Excel, or Powerpoint files.
The EULA for Acrobat states that you can install a single license of Acrobat on up to 2 computers.  The implication being that these are both your computers and that Acrobat is licensed to you, individually.
The CreatePDF service can be accessed from virtually any computer that's hooked up to the internet.  Your subscription though is limited to your personal use.

    Hi Tbeirne,
If you just want to save a pdf opened in Safari to your machine use the save as option from within the Reader plugin window. Just click on any of the buttons highlighted in below screenshots to Save a pdf at any location on your machine.
    or
To summarize the issue, if you had opened an Internet PDF in a browser plug-in, you must use the save feature in the plug-in, not the Safari File > PDF Export, or File > Save As...
Please let us know if this solution works for you and you are able to save and view PDFs files locally.

  • Trying to "click" on accept user agreement on Adobe Acrobat Pro, free trial.  Nothing happens.

I have a Mac Book Air, latest update of OSX system 10.7.5.  I successfully downloaded a free trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro.  I've successfully installed it.  But when a pop up window asks to me to accept the license agreement, nothing happens even though I've pressed the button numerous times.  I've called Apple and they said this is an Adobe problem.  Adobe will only help me M-F.  As this is Saturday I was hoping someone might have an idea.

This is a known issue with Acrobat XI
Problem: Mac OS only. On launch, a blank EULA screen appears, which cannot be accepted, and Acrobat does not run. This problem can appear if you have any products installed from CCM or from Creative Suite, and you tried installing Acrobat XI from a different source.
Workaround: Launch any other product which is part of the CCM or Creative suite. Then, deactivate it by choosing Help > Deactivate. Quit the application. Then, launch Acrobat and accept the EULA. Then, for the CCM subscription product, launch it and select License This Software to enable the CCM product again. If a CS application, launch it and reactivate it.
    Please refer : http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/known-issues-acrobat-xi-reader.html
Or you can try this :
Go to Applications->Utilities->Adobe Installers -> Adobe Acrobat X -> remove Acrobat X using the Uninstaller app.
Relaunch Acrobat XI and try to accept EULA.

  • With Adobe FormsCentral in Creative Teams subscription, do I need to add an Acrobat Pro subscription to get unlimited forms and realtime responses?

We have a number of Creative Cloud for Teams seats but need to FormsCentral unlimited forms and realtime response rate.
The site makes you upgrade to Acrobat Pro subscription to get that, which is included in Creative Cloud.  I did order it, but am puzzled at whether or not that was a mistake.
Anyone has an idea about this?

    Hi GrattanGuru,
You have creative cloud subscription as you have mentioned. Under Adobe Reader to convert PDF to other formats Adobe offers online service called Acrobat.com services: https://www.acrobat.com/en_us.html
That would be the reason support person might have told you on call, that you have to pay for that service.
Under creative cloud you are getting Adobe applications. However under Acrobat.com you are getting online services which are providing Acrobat functions online.

  • I have paid my subscription for Adobe Acrobat Pro but can not install it- I always get an error message -also I did not receive any instalation code...

I have paid my subscription for Adobe Acrobat Pro but can not install it… I always get an error message …also I did not receive any instalation code...

With the subscription you sign in with your Adobe ID that you used to order the subscription. By installation code, I assume you mean serial number. You do not get one with the subscription, but use your Adobe ID.

  • I purchased an annual subscription to Adobe Acrobat Pro but my Mac 10.5.8 doesn't support it. Is there another Adobe product

I purchased an annual subscription to Adobe Acrobat pro but it doesn't operate on my Mac 10.5.8 operating system.
Is there another Adobe product to which I should ask my subscription be switched so I can convert PDFs into
    Word and vice versa?

PDF Pack can do that; but you may only be able to use the online service, since Adobe Reader may also not run on your OS (depending on the architecture).

  • Looking for my serial number under subscription on adobe acroBat pro X1 is chewing all of my important seconds in my life.

Looking for my serial number under subscription on adobe acrobat pro X1 is chewing all of my important seconds in my life. I purchased today 19.99 and I want to start my testing in this software but there is no way I can find any serial number in my email or in my account?

On May. 12, 2014, you purchased the Subscription of Acrobat XI Pro.
Creative cloud do not need a serial number. it will be using your Adobe ID on which you have purchased the creative cloud membership.
So you need to login with your Adobe ID and password to activate the cloud membership.
Log out & log back in of the CC Desktop App.
