Adobe Acrobat Settings Too Large

This is hopefully a really easy question for someone technical.  My version of Adobe Acrobat XI is too large for my screen resolution settings?  Every other program I run fits in the display and my old version of adobe fit but if i zoom in 100% in adobe my documents are too large to be displayed on the screen.  I have attached a screenshot below for reference:
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you for responding,
I don't think that is quite it though, the issue relates more to the resolution of the program.  100% on my old system used to represent a standard full page view.  Here is another screenshot for reference, this is my full screen view but I have to scroll just to print because the interface is to large to fit on one screen.

  • Adobe Acrobat Standard -vs- Adobe Acrobat Pro (for large PDF files)

I need to make a PDF from approximately 600 photos. Is the application Adobe Acrobat Standard competent to achieve this task? Or is it preferable to purchase Adobe Acrobat Pro and why?

Neither has particular limits relevant to this.
If you are making for professional publishing, Acrobat Pro contains print production tools.
However, be aware that YOU DO NOT LAY OUT DOCUMENTS OR MAKE BOOKS IN ACROBAT. Sorry to be emphatic, but some people have received the view that it replaces Word, InDesign, Publisher or whatever. It doesn't.

  • Adobe Acrobat Settings for Resoluion

The letters are blurry especially for letters with diagonal lines, e.g. letter Z, because squares are showing up on the screen.  How can I change the setting back to high quality resolution?  I cannot print docs using this low quality. The Adobe Acrobat handbooks do not give detailed instructions to bring me to a screen to make the setting changes.

Have you tried to print the document. There is a separate setting for screen display (Preferences->Screen Display) that can effect how you see documents on the screen. These setting have no effect on printing.

  • Why does my exported mp4 file look so bad when it is viewed in adobe acrobat pdf file?

I have embedded an mp4 (exported from premier pro cs6) video file into adobe acrobat and its not sharp viewing of my video anymore. It was a sharp video when viewed in both premier and the exported mp4 files, but once embedded in acrobat it looses sharpness, anyone know what the problem might be? Could my settings  in adobe acrobat be wrong? I would think the problem is in adobe acrobat since the exported mp4 video views crisp and clear before its embedded, any ideas to assure sharpness with my video after its embedded into the adobe acrobat pdf?
Hoping someone has an answer to this, I think my problem might lie within the adobe acrobat settings????
or maybe there is no way around and I need to expect this video not to look as crisp and clear after I embed it into acrobat.... as it is when viewing in premier pro, mp4, etc.????
Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated.
Someone Im sure is taking theri exported premier files and embedding them to create pdf files? Would love to hear if anyone has encountered this issue.
Thanks so much in advance for any help offered.

    Hi Dave,
I just completed a test and comparison between the two PDF's,
compared the file as you suggested with the floating option and changing setting to actual size of the original premier pro / mp4 file size and
the old pdf that did not utilize the floating and file size option.
I do notice a slight difference. The PDF with the floating window with the match of the media clips original dimensions appears to be crisper.
I will be having the final pdf document set utilizing this method for the embeded mp4 movie and hope that the department doing this (next stage of this job) will agree that this is better to use your steps to embed all the video files into a pdf.
Thanks so much for your time.
Hope you had a happy holiday, and hope you have a very happy and healthy new year.
    Thanks, Amy

  • Adobe Acrobat X Form doesn't distribute

I created a pdf into an interactive form in Life Cycle Designer.  I can't get it to distribute.  When I click Distribute, then I select how I want to handle it, which is manually, then on the next dialoge box I enter the email, name, title and company, but the Next button doesn't work and I can't go forward from there.  I tried to distribute from the Adobe Acrobat software too, and I get the same results - the Next button doesn't work.  What can I do to correct this?  When people share, there is no email address in the 'to' section.

  • Unable to download Adobe Acrobat XI; order confirmation, get error message 413 Header length too large JRun Serviet Error;  how to download program I paid for?

I purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro XI on line; received email order being processed and order purchased confirmed.  When I tried to download the program I received JRun Serviet Error 413, Header Length too Large.  Is there a way to resolve this?  Is there a customer service number at Adobe?

Get the download from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. You will still need your S/N to complete the install.

  • Printing pdf documents too large acrobat pro 10.1.12 and OS 10.9.5

Using my Acrobat pro 10.1.12 and IMac OS 10.9.5, all my pdf documents print about 10 - 15% too large and run off page even though they are standard size documents and print fine using my Mac Air OS 10.8 and Acrobat Pro 10.1.1.  The "shrink" and "Fit" settings are ineffective and I don't think they should be necessary anyway since these are standard size documents. Please help!!!  THANK YOU

Correctn. My problem came from firefox. Once I changed page setup under the file heading, it worked fine. Seems the new install of adobe somehow changed the setting in firefox to 150%.

  • Adobe Reader display page and text in tool bar and options too large.  How can this be reduced?

My Adobe Reader (ver. XI) page for viewing and manipulating docs and the text in tool bar and menus is too large and I cannot reduce its size.   I cannot add but a few functions on the tool bar without them reverting to the drop down.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe XI and that has not helped.  Do not have this problem with other software so I know its not the resolution settings of computer.
Any way to reduce the size of the "viewing page" and its text?  I can change the size of the doc I am viewing but not the items of the page that displays the doc.
    Thanks.

  • ACROBAT XI Pro -EDIT TOOL SET  - POP-UP WINDOW IS TOO LARGE

    Good Day -
I've been experiencing very nagging problem since installing recent Acrobat Xi Pro uodate (on windows 7 system):
Specifically - I cannot edit/change the TOOL SET to include needed TOOLS (i.e., that were all previously in my Tool set) as the EDIT TOOL SET WINDOW (i.e., pop-up
window) is TOO LARGE and does not allow scrolling/ or moving down to SAVE  any tool sets and or tool set changes. Very frustrating as all attempts (and recommendations from reviews/support) for decreasing the size of EDIT TOOL SET WINDOW (popup) in order to save (i.e. include ANY) tools have been unsuccessful.  So for past week I've been unable to include/use any TOOLS for working in (i.e., editing/commenting etc) pdf's.  Has anyone else experienced this problem?  Would greatly appreciate any / all steps & recommendations for fixing.
    Thank-you!

First, make sure you are on the latest update 11.0.09. Help->check for updates should get you there.
If check for updates says that you have the latest, see if the setting: Edit->Settings->General->Basic Tools->Scale for screen resolution and try various options (you'll have to restart Acrobat with each selection)

  • Resolution in dialog box is too large in Acrobat XI

I recently did an update to Adobe, however now, anything that uses Adobe is now in SUPER LARGE resolution.  My computer and all other programs have correct resolution, and even the File, Edit, View.... toolbar across the top are the correct size.  But everything else is really large.  The dialog boxes cannot be resized and have no scroll bars, so the options for all of them are not viewable or clickable.  I'm currently running Windows 8.1 which is updated, and there are no outstanding updates to Adobe Acrobat.  I also did the repair option with no change.  Changing the screen resolution or option to use smaller fonts has no effect on the Adobe dialog box, only makes everything on my computer miniscule (Windows 8.1).  The issue is isolated to only Adobe.  Can you tell me how to reduce the resolution on Adobe so it is normal?  Screenshots of the issue are below:

I have exactly the same issue. Adobe support could not answer my question.
Even the free Adobe reader is the same so I suspect it is the Windows 8.1 Operating System at the bottom of this, but Adobe needs to resolve this. If I open the settings window using teh cog icon, I cannot use my mouse to scroll to the bottom and get to the options or buttons down there either.
Right now this is almost useless to me.
