Adobe Acrobat will not install
When I try to install a Trial Version of Adobe Acrobat XI my Creative Cloud Account goes into a "Waiting" mode.
Sounds like a CC question to me. I am an Acrobat user and have no clue, but you might get a useful answer in the CC forum at http://forums.adobe.com/community/creative_cloud.

Adobe Acrobat Reader Not Installed.
Trying to open link to pdf file from IE8 using Windows 7 64bit and pdf file will not open "adobe acrobat reader not installed". Yet I can open PDF files outside of IE8. Adobe Reader X is installed. Have tried remvoving, reinstalling, running app as admin. Have tried different version of Adobe Reader and same error. This same link works fine when opened with Google Chrome. Any suggestions?
Thanks for posting the image.
Could you please confirm if you receive this error while opening any PDF? Could you try opening: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/837/cpsid_83708/attachments/Acrobat_Reader_ReleaseNote_10.1.1.pdf
Do you receive the same issue? -
"Adobe Acrobat could not install correctly"
Has a fix been found yet for this damn annoying problem.
I get this message regularly on my Mac G5, Leopard 10.5.2. I must have reinstalled the program about 5 times by now. It works properly for a few days, then this-
"Adobe Acrobat could not install correctly"
"A required component was not found, please restore the Adobe Acrobat folder from your original CD".
Doing a forum search, I noticed people were having this same problem as far back as October 2007. Has it been resolved yet, and if so how?I discovered that when I initially install Acrobat it works fine. However, after I run the program Monolingual, which removes languages and architectures that my Intel Mac does not require, Acrobat has this exact failure.
I went to Monoligual's website and in their FAQ's they address this issue. (http://monolingual.sourceforge.net/faq.php) You simply need to add the Acrobat folder (/Applications/Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional) to the Monolingual preferences list and then uncheck both boxes. Also, with Acrobat Professional 8.1.4 you need to add the folder /Library/Printers/PPDs to the list and uncheck both boxes, because Monoligual will delete four Asian Language folders from this folder and Acrobat will give you an error if they are not there.
So, if you use Monolingual, or some other program that removes languages and architectures, this might be your solution. -
Download of adobe pro will not install
The Adobe Pro will not install on my computer. The download starts and then gets hung up at 4%.
Hi Leah_teamhealth,
Please try to download Acrobat from the below link and check.
http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html
Try to turn off the antivirus and firewall on your machine.
Also try a different browser to download the file.

Adobe CS4 will not install on new macbook pro [was: pro]
Adobe CS4 will not install on new macbook pro. It is coming from my other macbook.
Install normally means running setup from the orginal discs or the downloadable trial version. If you are copying from a backup or another computer, that won't work.
Best advice is to download the CS4 trial, and have your serial number ready in order to convert the trial into a licensed version.
Get the trial here. Follow the instructions carefully or the download link won't work.

Adobe Air will not install. Prior to attempted reinstall, it would not update.
Adobe Air will not install / reinstall. Prior to attempt to reinstall, it would not update. The automatic "update now" button was greyed out, but the "update later" button was active.
Here is what my system administrator wrote:
1. Right-Click on the installer, clicked 'Show Package
Contents' and attempted to install from the MasOS folder. This
provided an interesting error in the terminal window, however still
did not install.
2. From there, I opened 'Console' (found in Applications
--> Utilities) and dug through the install error logs. Pinned
the issue down to AIR trying to update / use files that were
already in use.
3. Restarted the computer under the primary admin account
(the account used to setup the computer) and installed successfully
from there. -

Adobe Flash will not install on Windows 7 x64
Hello,
I find myself in a bit of a pickle, which I have neither definitive answer nor logic to why this is happening. Whenever I install Adobe Flash I get an error message in a popup window as described below.
Host
Unable to load application configuration
First of all I thought…? This can happen if the processor clock is out on the motherboard. I rebooted and checked the time and date stamp in the BIOS and it’s correct. Everything else works fine; it’s just Adobe Flash that is causing the problem. I am running Windows 7 x64 and selected Windows 7 x64 when I installed Flash. Shockwave, Air and all other Adobe applications were fine… it’s just Adobe Flash that is causing the problem. Any Answers would be appreciated; I’m left scratching my head with dismay because I cannot for the life of me know what is causing this error message.
It’s the same for MSIE9 as well it will not install and comes up with the same error message.
Thanks
[RESOLVED]
I took a second look at the BIOS and didn’t spot this the first time I looked. The time was correct, but out by 20 seconds which was the reason why updates and installations were in disarray. I never would have thought 20 seconds would have made much of a difference. But it does and I corrected the time to the precise seconds to pinpoint accuracy, saved the BIOS and loaded the OS and tried again and it worked first time.
So the moral of this topic is, if you’re getting a message in a window which says the following…
Host
Unable to load application configuration
Check the clock on your BIOS first, if the seconds are out but the time is correct, this the likelihood of the problem is being caused by the BIOS clock. What is the exact error you are getting?
Have you tried to run the offline installer from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#Ins tall_in_a_firewall_proxy_server_environment ?
If that still causes you an error please post your Windows version & edition.
P.S. if your Windows user account has administrative permissions, then you don't need to go into the BIOS to correct your clock; you can do it from withing Windows, either manually, or using Atomic Clock Sync. -
Adobe Acrobat is not installing with CS5 Suite
I have downloaded the CS5 Suite and Adobe Acrobat is not being included in that download for some reason. What is wrong and how can I correct this issue asap!
thank youHello,
I am having the same issue. I purchased CS5 a few years ago and have reinstalled it onto my new computer (Was done successfully). When I went to download CS5, the adobe acrobat pro 9.3 (I believe this is the version) was not included. For the life of me, I cannot find the ability to download it anywhere. I'd prefer to not to have to purchase it again since I already bought it (even though it's been a few years).
Any tips would be most appreciated!
Thanks,

Use Firefox. Have BBC iPlayer which will not load, saying I need a newer version of Adobe Air: when trying to instal Adobe Air, get message saying I already have a more recent version. It worked when I was using IE, but not since changing to Firefox.
Hi there,
stumbled on this conversation after having problems myself.
After lots of trial and error, I was finally able to install iPlayer on my MacBook Pro.
Firstly remove Adobe Air (Applications, Utilities, Adobe Air Uninstaller).
Reboot (not sure if it is needed but it is what I did).
Download Adobe Air 2.5 from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/853/cpsid_85304.html
Then retry installing iPlayer from the BBC webpage. I ignored the prompt from Adobe Air to upgrade to the latest version (3.1). -
I installed CS6 a few weeks ago and it worked fine. All of a sudden I can't open the Adobe Acrobat program any longer. How do I fix this?
Hi,
Since you have tried with crofix update but the file does not open.
You might need to try out solutions 2 or 3 for the same from the link mentioned below:
Doesn't launch after 30 days | Installed as part of a CS6 suite
Please let me know if that worked for you. If no, then do tell me if there is any specific error.

Adobe Acrobat printer not installed in Vista
I installed Adobe Acrobat 9 in windows XP and Vista. In XP installed properly and can covert to PDF. In Vista installed properly but can't find the Adobe printer in printers, when I open File ---> Print from any application can't found Adobe PDF. But when right click a file "Convert to Adobe PDF" appears and can convert. Please help me to solve this. Also I have Adobe reader 8 in vista.
Convert to Adobe PDF is a preprocessor for the Adobe PDF printer. Thus, for any conversion with Acrobat you have to have the printer installed. As a work around, you can install another PS printer and then open the PS file in Distiller, but that is not a great workaround. Sorry that I do not have an answer in terms of the Adobe PDF printer. Good luck.

Adobe Flash will not install. (Shows errors.)
I tried to install the Trial version to at least know what I'm buying, but it stopped and showed all of these errors.
OS: Windows XP Service Pack 2
It's also a 32 bit system. Is that why I can't install it?

Thanks in advance. I would really love to work with this Flash player.Hi, I'm not sure what you are trying to Install. Adobe Flash Player, the browser plugin? Or the CS5? If the former, then you are on the correct Forum. If the latter, you may want to start a thread on one of the other Forums from here and use the "Select Forum" drop down arrow.
http://forums.adobe.com/index.jspa
However, it appears that your system is a 32bit and this WARNING #5 on your list shows that what you are trying to Install is for a 64bit OS. You may need to make sure you are using the correct version.
See if that is what the problem is.
Thanks,
eidnolb
