Adobe Acrobat X Pro Teacher and Student

My Question is:  Does the Adobe Acrobat X Professional Teacher and Student Software for MAC have digital/electronic signature capability?   Can I digitaly sign forms, contracts, documents

Acrobat 11 is (supposedly) going to have better editing tools. Acrobat X
(and earlier versions) are not really meant to be used to edit the
underlying content of a PDF. For that you should go back to the original
document, edit it there, and then re-create the PDF.

  • Adobe Acrobat XI Pro Installation and Registration Online

    Hi Everyone,
    I bought three (3) Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for windows. I installed it into my three (3) computers I choose to input my serial number (because I have one), after I completed installing it I was prompted to register it online. But there was a error saying that I don't have a Internet Connection (please see the image below) it's a weird thing because I do have one. 
    Now, my questions are :
    1. How can I solve the problem regarding the Internet Connection thing? My clock and and time zone are correct.
    2. Is there an alternate way to register my software online?
    3. I want to un-install my Adobe Acrobat to my previous computer and install it to my new computer, will the Serial Number be counted? Being said that I installed and input the serial number into my three computers.
    I'm afraid that if I install and input serial number to my new computer, the serial number will not work because I used it three times.
    Please help me with this matter. Thank you in Advance!

    I'm trying to set-up Adobe 9 Pro so that when you select "Print" or "Print to PDF" that the application automatically defaults to a Specified location and a Specified name as (Date)+(Time).pdf.<br /><br />Currently it prompts you to specify the location and the name, but I can change the default location pretty easily.<br /><br />I have even looked in the Adobe Customization Wizard and under the Adobe PDF printer it has options for "Default PDF Output Folder" and "Adobe PDF Output Folder" - which says in the box "Prompt for Adobe PDF filename" and when you select the drop down box it only has "<Default PDF Output Folder>" with no way of editing the name.<br /><br />Does anyone know how I can set this up?<br /><br />Default Path to whatever I need it to be. And to have the name of the .pdf automatically assigned the name of the current Date and Time.

    Just for your information, it is also possible to change the output folder to your own folder of the Adobe PDF printer without modifying the printer settings. Copy the following lines to notepad, correct the path C:\\DocOut to your path and save it as Acro8_OutputFolder.reg and double-click on it.
    So you can change the output folder of the Adobe PDF printer via registry.

  • Adobe Creative Suite 6 Teacher and Student Edition install hangs 4 minutes before completion

    Hi... Running OSX 10.8.5 on Macbook Pro 15inch i7 Retina Display. Have tried to look for AdobeHelp.exe blah blah in Activity Monitor to kill.... can't find unfortunatley.
    Used cleaner and tried to reinstall. No luck there either.
    Thinking maybe upgrading to Maverick.

    Apetr6 are you receiving any specific error messages when trying to install the software?  I would also recommend reviewing your installation log files for errors.  You can find information on how to locate and interpret your installation log files at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html.  Please feel free to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

  • Trying to instal trial version of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro

    By mistake, I downloaded the trail version of regular Adobe Acrobat XI Pro not the student rate.  I tried to download the student trial Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and it is telling me that the same versin already exists. I ask to replace it, but give me an eroor again. how could I install the student trial version since I already paid for it and would like to use it immediately?

    Would you mind providing more detail? You mention the 'Trial' version of Acrobat XI Pro. It is free for 30 days and does not ask you to pay anything unless you decide to after the end of 30 days.
    At the end of the trial period you are welcome to purchase the student version.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended hangs for about 12 seconds ... please help!

    I'm using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended and have the following problem:
    I can open PDF documents just fine. But after about 3-4 seconds the program hangs / freezes for about 12 seconds. I've tried everything (defined a non-network printer as default printer, deactivated unecessary fonts with a font manager, deactivated most of the plugins from Adobe Acrobat etc.)... nothing helps to solve this issue.
    Can anybody give me a hint or have a solution for this ???

    I do have the same problem but I'm OSX 10.6.8
    I have a Phaser 7500, and it works fine with ID, PS, AI, and Acrobat Reader 9.5
    But crashes with Acrobat Pro 9.5 and Lightroom 3.6

    it' says it isn't necesary

    On the front cover it says "Install software from these discs first. Then install Acrobat 9 Pro from the Adobe Creative Suite 3.3 with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Upgrade Installer disc provided separately."
    I put in the "Adobe Creative Suite 3.3 with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro" CD and downloaded Acrobat. When I got to the serial # part, I used the same serial number as I did for the rest of the Creative Suite, but it says the # is not valid?!?!
    I haven't tried calling Adobe yet...my friend tried calling the other day and he was put on hold for 2 hours >.< Any help would be appreciated!

    Had you installed another version of Acrobat 9 previously? If so try using the serial # from it.
    If not some one else has asked a similar question I have answered today. Try the answer I gave for that question.

    The system has licensed 'Adobe Acrobat X Pro' installed successfully. When SharePoint 2010 site collection has NTLM authentication, pdf document can be edited sucessfully using 'Adobe Acrobat X Pro'.
    Issue arises when the sharepoint 2010 site collection has claim based authentication.
    User logs in and navigate through links as-
       Workspace->Document Library.
       Selects PDF document->select "Edit Document" link.
    This action opens Adobe Acrobat X Pro, but do not open pdf and displays error "There was error opening this document. The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."

    When site is with NTLM authentication, adobe acrobat x pro opens and allow to edit successfully. But when it there is Claim Based authentication, it cannot. It seems Adobe Acrobat X Pro does not have capability to send appropriate headers to handle claim based authentication. Also it is not able handle the sequence of request-response for claim based authentication. When searched on web, there is one product of Acrobat called LiveCycle, which has capability to handle SAML. Does that mean Adobe Acrobat X Pro does not have the capability to handle Claim based authentication so it is depend on LiveCycle for it?

    Since AA X is not longer being distributed, it is likely Adobe will tell you to contact the Amazon site where you got the product. Hopefully you did not get a scam purchase.
    You will need the SN (hope that came with the purchase) and then you just install AA X. As part of the installation process you should be asked for the SN and also be asked to contact Adobe for activation. The activation is a menu item I think. On my AA XI, there is a deactivate option under the help menu -- I just don't remember back to the details of the activation process, but it was rather straight forward. Maybe you have an activation option under HELP if you can get that far.
