Adobe Acrobat XI How to outline font

I have outlined text in Adobe Acrobat X (i.e.: 10) for some time, and used "Watermark" and Print Production to outline text.
I have just updated to Adobe Acrobat XI (i.e.: 11), and I am not able to figure out a way of converting fonts to outlines.
Is anyone able to help?

Hi theonlineprinter
See if the steps on the below link helps you : https://bestfontforward.wordpress.com/2012/07/27/outlining-text-in-adobe-acrobat-x/
Follow the same procedure with Acrobat XI

  • Adobe Acrobat wont capture Monotype Sorts fonts from PPT

I created a file in PPT using the "Monotype Sorts" font for a bullet list.
When I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro to create a pdf of this powerpoint, the bullet list comes across incorrect.
After discovering this, I went into Acrobat Preferences/Advanced/Fonts and selected to always embed Monotype Sorts, with no difference in the outcome.
Please let me know how do capture this font type in a pdf!!!

Since there were no answers, I will take a stab at a reponse. For the 2nd method, I suspect you could simply select the print or press job options to get the desired results or turn off "use local fonts" in Acrobat. If you check the font list, the fonts are probably not embedded and that is likely the problem.
I noticed that you have both Reader and Acrobat installed and that might cause some conflict, but should not be the issue here. If you were to uninstall Reader, you would have to repair Acrobat. The conflict here is that you might have problems with the one opening when you want the other. If it works for you, then don't worry about it.
For technique 1, I suspect you may be using IE 9 that has apparently been a problem since it came out. I have refused to install it. However, it may simply be that PDF Maker does not work correctly with your browser, or got deactivated and needs to be allowed to run in your browser (IE I am assuming).

  • Adobe Acrobat 8 how to delete it completely?

I have to deactviate Adobe CS3 from my old computer to reinstal into my new computer. Now I have a problem downloading Adobe Reader on my old computer as Adobe Acrobat is still there after I delete the Adobe CS3. Can someone show me how to remove Acrobat completely so I can install Reader?

Download and run the Microsoft installer cleanup utility and get rid of the old program then install the new one.

  • Accidentally closed a doc Adobe Acrobat Pro HOW TO RECOVER

Working on Adobe Acrobat Pro accidentally closed a doc, HOW CAN I recover changes?? Help!!! 10 hours of work. "revert" is grayed out under File tab.

Thanks. My default is set to autosave but I realized later that the doc I was sent to edit had some feature that prevented the autosave from kicking in. Of course, who would notice that the small “revert” tab is grayed out? How can I override that in future? Save by different name?
I thought the doc might be in my recycle bin, but it was not. Would have been nice for Adobe to warn me as I was closing that the doc had tons of unsaved changes (like 10 hours worth!!!), and ask me to confirm I wanted to close. I had two docs open and the other one didn’t need to be saved—my cursor just happened to be active on the one I needed to save. Adobe, grrrr. Get out of the 1980s, when many word processing programs did not have autosave. The WP app designers understand--we need autosave. It should be automatic unless you explicitly reject it.
And then the Acrobat Pro help line is not open on weekends. I was hoping they would know where it was somewhere on my computer.

  • Adobe Acrobat XI - How do I see field properties (p 154 in manual)?

I just installed Adobe Acrobat XI.  How do I see the field properties?  The manual (p. 154) doesn't match my program at all.  The only thing I see in the properties is: Field type, label position, multiple lines of text, limit character count, reuqired and include help text.  The manual lists lost of other properties that I don't see (including tabs that I don't see).

I think you might feel it's cheating because you are doing the work in more than one app (Word and Acrobat) and surely the pros use just the right app?
This is a common feeling, but actually the pros do most tasks in a mixture of apps, each app being used for its strengths.
(I've seen the same thing where people, having found that Photoshop is used for photos, assume it must be the best tool for publishing and make up whole pages or even whole books in Photoshop, rather than using the mixture of apps InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop that lets them work effectively. Sorry if the analogy doesn't mean anything to you).

  • Adobe Acrobat 8 -How do change color of font?

At me all color of font is red when trying to select: Comments->Comment&Markup Tools->Text Box Tool. and all color of font was red.

I had the same question.  I spent a lot of time until I found the way.  Unfortunately, the help function of the program is not that good.  In fact, it is confusing.
    Anyhow follow these steps.
    1.  Pick the text box function.
    2.  Place the cursor where you want and write.
    3.  Go to the "View" dropdown menu.
    4.  Select "Toolsbars" in the dropdown menu.
    5.  Select the "Property Bar"
    6.  You will see the toolbar for changing the color and sizes of linew and font.
    7.  Select the text box you want to change.
    8.  Double click to select the text inside the text box.
    9.  Use the toolbar function to change the color, font and size.
The problem with the help documentation is that when they talk about "text"  they are refering to the original text of the document and all the solutions that I found did not work because of this.

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro  was sind R-Font's

    Hallo zusammen,

  • Every time I try to open a pdf file in firefox, it asks me to activate adobe acrobat. How do I stop this from happening?

I do activate acrobat, but it still comes up next time I need to open a pdf file. The same problem occurs when I use a quicktime file. I get the drop down to let me me allow every time but again , next time I want to use see or hear a quicktime file I get the same question. This is very annoying. I went into options and chose the file to use to open rather than having it ask me but that didn't solve the issue either.

You can check for problems with preferences.
Delete a possible user.js file and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.

  • MS publisher 2010 to PDF using Adobe Acrobat X Pro produces outlines on some of my images that are not there on the publisher file!

I am helping a client publish a book through Createspace. We are both using Windows 8 OS. She created her document in MS Publisher 2010. I made the necessary edits to her book, (111 pages) and saved it as a pdf for commercial printing. The resulting pdf puts lines on some of the images. (All the images are jpg format, but it only happens to some.) I have tried creating the pdf in several different ways including print to PDF, Save as PDF, and Save and Send Wizard for commercial printing. I have also tried deleting and reinserting the images. I don't know what else to try. Does anyone have any ideas.
The image below shows what I mean. On the left is the Publisher File, on the right is the PDF.

I agree with your statement; even for a particular document, if I choose to "Print on both sides" and then print again immediately after, "Print on both sides" will be deselected.
However, I'm not sure what you're implying by you're statement. I'm asking precisely why this setting isn't sticky. Acrobat uses a non-standard printer dialog; in the usual dialog I can easily set a defualt duplex setting. I almost always want to print duplex. Why can't I do this by default in Acrobat?
