Adobe Acrobat XI Pro - Copy Paste PDF Page to PPT Slide using VBA

Hi,
Please find the requirement -
Need to read a pdf file (pdf file may contains 10-15 pages) from powerpoint (using VBA), go to a particular pdf page, copy the entire page and paste on the ppt slide. Can anyone share the vba code for this. Thanks.
Regards,
Prasanta

Can you do it without VBA? I can't see anything designed to make this work except screen shots, which are nothing to do with Acrobat specifically.

  • Adobe Acrobat X Pro - submiting just one page of many

Hi, I was hoping someone could help me. I have been hitting my head against a wall for hours.
I have created an Adobe form in Adobe Acrobat X Pro, It is five pages long and I want to submit only page 5 via email.
I have tried the Field selection option and when I do the FDF doesn’t work and I get the following error message.
‘The file you are attempting to open contains comments or form data that are supposed to be placed on. This document cannot be found. It may have been moved or deleted. Would you like to bowse to attempts to locate this document?’
Is there any java script or anything that can send page 5/5 only or something?

    Hello,
Would you mind reposting this over in the Acrobat forum?  This is the AIR forum and you'll probably find better expertise over there.
    Thanks.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro adding a blank page on conversion from Word 2010

Hi, I'm hoping someone here can help.  I'm converting a Word 2010 document to PDF using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro (version 9.5.4).  On conversion to PDF, a blank page is being added, throwing the entire report off.  In word, there is a Section Break (Next Page) at the end of the first page, and the text continues on the second.  On conversion, it is after this section break that the blank page apears (i.e., between pages 1 and 2 of the document).  I've been back and forth through the document, tried to use a Continuous Section Break instead (Word just converts it to a page break again), making sure there's only one break, etc., and cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix this problem.  Any ideas?
    Thanks

  • Adobe Acrobat XI Pro Word to PDF

When converting Word docs to PDF using Acrobat XI Pro the links in the table of contents no longer work?

    Prerequisites
    -- Adobe Acrobat Installed
-- MS Office / Word installed (a version that is compatible with the installed version of Acrobat)
First thing to always check - that Word is making the Word generated TOC entries as hyperlinks.
Second thing to do - Configure PDFMaker to "create links" (tick the choice)
Third thing to do - Create the output PDF using the PDFMaker.
    A reference that may help.

  • I've installed Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro but can't figure out how to use it. Help!

Isn't there anyone out there who can help me?  What about Adobe Customer Service?

You can open Acrobat and select the key F1. That should open the help menu (it should be local on your hard drive). It is also the first item listed in the help menu. If you prefer, you can open the full manual in PDF form from http://help.adobe.com/archive/en_US/acrobat/9/professional/acrobat_pro_9.0_help.pdf. The manual is over 500 pages long and gives you a lot of information. There is a getting started section at the end of Chapter 1.
However, at this point it might be worth asking what your expectation is for AA 9, similar to Anoop's question. A lot of folks try to use Acrobat for things it is not designed to do, though it may do them, and they get disappointed. So expectations can be a big factor. A general statement might be that the primary purpose of Acrobat and associated software is to create PDF representations of documents from other applications that you can share with others (most folks can read PDF files anymore). After the creation, there are a number of tools that can be used to enhance the use of the PDF, including form fields, security (for what it is), and minor editing.
    Hope this all helps.

  • Adobe acrobat 9 Pro Convert to PDF Access Denied for users

I recently installed IE 9 on my computer (windows 7 ultimate 64 bit). From this moment on I cannot convert web page to pdf. I am getting " permission denied", code 0.
    Can anyone help me?

    Good day astryian,
Acrobat 9's development was completed while IE8 was still in beta.  The PDFMaker Add-in from Acrobat 9 was never designed for use with IE9.  You may want to try printing to the Adobe PDF printer from IE9 instead.  If the results you receive contain either missing or garbled text, please refer to the following knowledgebase document: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/896/cpsid_89623.html

  • Why can't I create Fillable PDF Forms using Adobe Acrobat X Pro and upload to Dreamweaver?

I can create fillable PDF Forms using Adobe Acrobat X Pro. I can email them to someone using Adobe Reader (free) and they can fill them, save and email to me. But when I upload the form to Dreamweaver CS5, the form is not fillable. And yes, I saved it as a Reader Extended PDF-Enable Additional Features.

I see no reason for this form to fail in Reader. Some questions for you.
    1. On the system with Adobe Reader, what is the system and the version of Adobe Reader?
    2. Are you viewing the PDF in a browser on the system with Reader, or in an Adobe Reader window?
    3. If it's a browser
    (a) what is the browser
    (b) if you download the file instead, and open directly in Reader, what happens?

  • Adobe Acrobat X Pro does not open after installing CS6

I successfully installed CS6 & Web Premium package. I found I could not open .pdf files so I reloaded Adobe Reader X and now realize I cannot open Adobe Acrobat X Pro to create .pdf files. Reinstalled Acrobat again this evening, restarted computer but same issue (Acrobe Acrobat X Pro - it does nothing when I try and open it). What am I missing? any insight is soooo appreciated!

After installation of the CS6 suite, everything worked great.  I am not sure the time frame it took to notice the problem in Acrobat X Pro the first time as the user does not use it everyday, but the program would not open.  PDF files would only open if you chose to open them in Acrobat Reader and would not open in Acrobat X Pro.  There were no error messages nor were there any error logs in the event viewer.  The program just would not open.  If that user logged out of Windows and I logged in, the program would open but only for a brief period and then would close without warning and never open again.
I checked the dates and from the time that I last fixed the error addressed in this thread until it happened again was exactly 30 days which would make me think that the trial would end but it is actually not a trial.  It is a licensed suite.

  • Error 193: When trying to update Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro - Any help?

I have had Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro for a few years and have loved using it. I have always updated the program and kept it up to date, but I have run into a problem.
I was changing computers, so I deactivated all of my Adobe products, uninstalled them and deleted all of the information from it. I then start working and installing the programs into my new computer when it froze and crashed. I ended up having to return the computer and have it worked on, but I did deactivate and unstall all of the programs from the computer before doing so. Now I'm back to my old computer and have started having some trouble. I reinstalled Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, went in to run the updating, but as soon as it checked and let me know there were updates available, I said start and a box popped up reading:
Does anyone have a reason the occurred and what options I have to correct this? I searched and read that  one of my options was to go into Adobe (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows) and run the updates manually, but that would mean downloading and installing over 20 updates, one by one. I know that I don't have to keep restarting my computer after each one and only after the last, but there has to be another way. That would take me a couple of hours where I couldn't leave my computer.
I did try to uninstall the program again and then reinstall it, but no I had luck there. I received the same error message telling me that the update failed.
Can anyone help me let me know why this is happening and what I can do to prevent/stop this?
    Thanks,
    Sean

Updater downloads all the updates into AllUsers folder.
Somewhere in the path to this folder you most likely have a file that has the same name as partial folder name.
For example, on XP this folder is C:\Documents and Setting\.."
If you have a file C:\Documents.exe Updater will fail with error 193

  • How do I convert a PDF of a ppt slide handout to a regular ppt?

I have a PDF of a powerpoint presentation, but it is a handout format, with 4 slides per page. I want to convert it into a normal powerpoint presentation with 1 slide per slide. However, when I save it as a ppt, it creates a presentation where each slide has 4 "slides" on it, just like the handout.

Acrobat XI Pro can export PDF page content (as-is) to a PowerPoint file.
What you've observed demonstrates that eh.
Acrobat cannot format PowerPoint file format (or other file formats for that matter).
Any / all editing or manipulation of a PowerPoint file must be done with MS PowerPoint.

Why can I not create a PDF from a web page on my Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro on my new Windows 8 computer? It worked fine on my windows XP system?

Acrobat 8 is not compatible with Windows 8,  for the simple reason it was
created much before it and Adobe could not participate the changes to the
OS that Microsoft implemented many years later on. You need to buy the
    current version for compatibility.

If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.
