Adobe Acrobat XI PRO crash in Maverics

Hello,
My Adobe x and XI PRO will not run anymore since i upgraded to MAverics.
I did a total removal and re-install of entire Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
"Configuration error"  "Error 16"
Called apple seems to be a issue with Adobe Licensing server!!
I re-installed, after following instructions of complete removal, re-entered licence keys.
Works for about 30 seconds then locks with "Error 16"  contact Adobe support.  (There is no phone number! of course)
Heaven forbid Adobe could give you a free support phone number anyware.
I re-installed Mavs, All adobe products after following instructions in support forum for total removal.
So how do i Fix it? Come on Adobe get it together! I am paying for my products. Full price and this is unaccecptable.
Tryed licence repair tool but it is outdated and only works on older versions.
Any help would be great

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 pro crashing after install

    Hello,
I am running a remote desktop server on Windows 2k8 R2.   I have been using adobe acrobat 9 pro on it successfully about 6 months.   Recently, in what seemed like one night, it stopped working completely.  Anytime we try to print to a file or even open a PDF, Acrobat crashes.  If I open acrobat itself it opens, but as soon as i even click on a menu and without choosing anything click back to the main screen it crashes.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.   I have tried removing the adobe folder from applicatoin data folders.    I haven't tried a registry cleaning yet but I have manually gone in and deleted all registy files i could find related to Adobe.
If anyone has an experience like this or any recommendations I would love to hear them.   My trial version is running out and I have tried everything I could think of.

Did you do the updates? At this point you may have to download them and install them manually. The updates are available at ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/. Generally, they have to be installed in order with a reboot at the end.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Crashes When Scanning with Canon DR-4010C Native Interface

When doing a custom scan in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.2, I need to be able to show the Canon DR-4010C native interface so that it will auto-crop when I am scanning small documents such as receipts, etc.  I have another model scanner that does it automatically (a Canon Dr-2510C) but I need that same functionality when I scan with the 4010.  I can see the setting when I configure Adobe to use the scanner's native interface however when I choose "auto detection" on the size (in the scanner's interface) and press scan, Adobe immediately crashes.  Please help!

Also, your log says: Acrobat.exe, version: 9.0.0.332
Looks like you have not updated Acrobat after install. The current version is 9.4.6. Also try updating Acrobat, Help->Check for updates

  • Adobe Acrobat X Pro crashes in 30 seconds

    Hello everybody,
I've got Acrobat X Pro 10.1.1 installed on my PC running Windows 7 64-bit (Corei7 2600K, 16GB DDR3. I got the Creative Suite 5 Master Collection and Acrobat X separately and installed them one after the other on the same day. A problem I've just noticed for the first time cropped up about a week ago. I normally used to have Adobe Reader as my default program to open and view PDF files, but recently when I tried to open PDF files in Acrobat for the first time since installation, the program crashes. The program will start up perfectly and display the PDF correctly, but after about 30 seconds, every time I've tried, with different PDF's from different sources and different sizes and versions, Acrobat X always crashes. I can use the program fully within those 30 seconds, for example, resizing the image, selecting text, finding text in a document, etc. all works perfectly, but every single time the Acrobat X Pro opens, it crashes after 30 seconds with the usual Windows 7 Program Crash dialogue box that reads:
    "Adobe Acrobat has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
The only option the dialogue box gives is to Quit, so I click that and it closes the program fully but nothing else happens. Now Adobe Reader still works fine so I've had to revert to that to view all my PDF files, but I can't edit or properly interact with them.
I understand that this post is somewhat vague because I have no error code or anything to identify what is happening. If there is a way to obtain this information, and if said information might help anybody reading this to assist me in repairing the issue, please let me know what to do.
If some crash log isn't required but somebody has come across a similar issue or heard of anything like this, I would be much obliged to hear possible causes or solutions to the problem.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you all very much,
    Akbar

    Found the answer at http://www.computertutoring.co.uk/hints-tips/acrobat-help-stopped-working.asp
    Worked for me!
    Here it is:
Use the control panel to uninstall Acrobat
In Windows Explorer, ensure that all of the Acrobat files are deleted by going to c:\program files\adobe\acrobat\ folder. Trash any leftover folders.
Using the control panel, create another user account giving it administrator priviledges and use this account to reinstall Adobe Acrobat from the installation CD. (Careful you don't reinstall all the software or you could be waiting a long time).
Hope it works for you, too.

  • Adobe Acrobat XI Pro crashes

I have recently acquired this program with cloud. How do I find out if there are updates available?
    I am running a PC
    Indesign CC

    Hi Terry,
The subject of the query is different than the body.
If you are facing Acrobat crash issue then you need to analyse the crash dumps.
For a start try doing the following  basic troubleshooting steps :
    > Enable the hidden Admin Account on Windows 7 ( Ref :  http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-adminis trator-account-on-windows-vista/ )
    > Disable all Non-Microsoft Startup Services. (Ref : http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/disable-startup-items-servic es-windows.html )
    > Disable all the Antivirus softwares like CA, Norton,Mc Afee etc. temporarily from the computer.
Reboot and try installing and check.
    > Update Acrobat to the latest version and check.
To know if there are any updates available for Indesign / Acrobat or for that matter any Adobe software, you need to navigate to the 'Help' menu within the software and select the option 'Check for Updates'.
To download the updates manually you can visit our website : http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates

  • Why does Adobe Acrobat X Pro crash?

I use MACOSX and installed Adobe Design Standard CS 5.5. Other programs on that package (e.g. Photoshop works well). But, I have not been able to use Acrobat. It opens for a few seconds and abruptly closes. Info on the internet suggested an updated but it doesn't even open, I don't know how it can update.

You could try to download the updates from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Macintosh
If that does not fix your issue, you should ask in the Acrobat forum.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro 9.4.3 - Freezing and crashing system

Updated to Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro 9.4.3 - intermittantly freezing up when opening files. 9.4.2 was crashing system completely. no mention of these problems under support. Why doesn't Adobe have a place where you can just write in your problem? If there is one, where is it?

To force uppercase, enter the following in the change event as JavaScript (make sure JavaScipt is selected in the language dropdown list at the top right):
    xfa.event.change = xfa.event.change.toUpperCase();
As you can see in the picture, there are many palettes available on the right side to edit fields. Hope this helps.

  • Adobe Acrobat XI Pro v. 11.0.10 Slow Loading and Crashing

    Hello,
I’m really hoping that anyone can please help me. I’ve upgraded to Adobe Acrobat XI Pro version 11.0.10  on a Dell Optiplex 7010 Intel Core i5-3570 CPU @ 3.40GHz with 8 GB RAM, 64-bit OS, running Windows 7 Professional. When first starting the program, almost every time, it gives a “not responding” message with the spinning blue swirl icon, and then finally responds, so I was wondering if there was anything that I could do to help speed it up considerably.
I don’t have a lot of programs running on this computer, and all of the other ones run fine. The only programs that I have running normally are Microsoft Outlook, the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, FileMaker Pro 11v3, Sophos Endpoint Security and Control, v 10.3, and Pidgin 2.10.11.
If there anything that you would recommend doing that would make Adobe Acrobat run faster?
The only plugin that I have for Acrobat is Enfocus Pitstop Pro 11 update 2.
I noticed that if I have a website open for work that uses Adobe Flash, it seems that more often than not, Adobe Acrobat tends to crash or give that “not responding” error, but unfortunately I need those websites open for work.
Any help would be so much appreciated. I really hope to hear from you soon. I really need help with this.
