Adobe AIR Error - Uninstalling and Re-installing does not work?

I keep getting this error everytime I turn n my laptop. I have uninstalled and re-installed Adobe AIR several times and still keep getting this error after it tells me it has been installed successfully. "This installation of this application is damage. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance." What is wrong with this program? I cannot keep uninstalling and re-installing this program and it is not installing properly.

Try a hard reset and go from there. You might try a manual install (using DFU Mode), as outlined in the link below.

How can I fix firefox, my problem does not match those in descriptions because I get no error messages and re-installing does not help!

Firefox will not start, no error messages at all unless I go to uninstall it and it says that it is already running. After rebooting my computer, and re-installing several times I still get nothing! Been going on for a month or so now. I am running XP pro. PLEASE HELP! I love firefox! The thought of using chrome, safari, IE, or opera is depressing! Please help! You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. Without proper system information and other details like what files you work with nobody can tell you much. From corrupted prefs to issues with your PS swap file to actual problems with the fiel storage this could be anything.

Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.

Hello, I am trying to upgrade my macbook pro to yosemite, but I get the "disk cannot be used to startup your computer" error.
Resizing the partition does not work for me and I get the error "MediaKit reports no such partition" probably because I installed linux in dual boot and the disk manager is lost.
Anyway to tell the yosemite installer that it should not pay attention whether the disk is bootable or not ?
If I am doomed, any way to delete the installer and downloaded OS from my hard drive ?

As usual, the Linux installer wrecked the partition table. You would have to boot from your OS X installation disc and repartition. Doing so will of course remove all data from the drive, so you must back up first if you haven't already done so.

I got both installed but on installing Presenter keeps giving errors that a previous version is installed on the computer and cannot proceed. I verified that there is no previous version and keep redoing the install and get stuck AGAIN and AGAIN at this point.

I'm sorry for your frustration. You have an ExportPDF subscription, which you can use to convert PDF files to Word format. It does not allow you to remove pages from as PDF and create a new PDF. It looks like you may have placed an order for an Acrobat subscription today, but it has not processed. Once it does, you can download and install Acrobat, and then use it to extract pages from a PDF (choose Extract from the Pages pane on the Tools panel).

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

You must get 10.6 if they still have it, install it & update to 10.6.8 so you have the App Store to buy & download the huge 10.8 Installer.(10.9/Mavericks is the only download avaiable now without specially calling Apple).
