Adobe air/ Espresso Reader

Hello...Hope this finds u doing well. I'm trying to download Espresso Reader, but keep getting an error message from Adobe saying the "installer file is damaged", try getting another installer package from the auther...Any suggestions would be most helpful...Thanks

Is Adobe AIR and Reader required to run Director 12 projectors on Windows

I have a customer who is reporting that our projectors will not run on all Windows computers unless she has AIR and Reader installed. Is this a requirement that I'm not aware of? Any insight as to why?

I see this was aksed a while back bit will answer it just in case it's still helpful.
Windows projectors do not require Adobe AIR to run them. If you make a Shockwave Projector, you may be prompted to install Shockwave in order for it to play.
Is the projector running off a hard drive, CD or another device? If it was ona CD and there was some error with that CD, the computer may be giving the incorrect message. Have not ever heard of AIR being requested when a projector is activated.

Printing from Adobe AIR using Reader/Acrobat.

I have a product created using Adobe AIR.
I have a portion where a pdf is loaded into a window, and
they print it. When we change what paper they are going to print on
(different dimensions), it does not take effect.
We have to load it in a native PDF application (Acrobat) and
change the settings, then print the piece off again.
This is horrible for efficiency.
Has anyone had this problem?

Hi,
If your PDF has embedded javascript, your AIR application can
talk to this javascript function where you can call the Print()
method.
Take a look at

Make sure you set the location of HTML control to a HTML file
(which has the object tag pointing to a PDF) using file:/// url
scheme. I remember a bug where if you point to it using the app://
or you don't specify any scheme, scripting between PDF and AIR
won't work.

Problem Installing Adobe Air

I'm running Windows 7 on a laptop. I have downloaded Adobe Air version 13.0.0.83 successfully. When I click on the Setup.exe file the program will start the install process, but it will immediately shutdown with an error message. I have tried this at least 6 times and get the same result. What are the likely issues?

is Apple fighting air for iOS or can it run normally? I've heard it's "native" but I also heard that apple does everything to make it near impossible to get air to run on iOS. I am thinking along lines of apps. can you make an air app that runs on android and iOS and run on iOS without having to install a ton of crazy SKD's on iPhone and such?

When packaging a Flash application for iOS both the application code and runtime are compiled down into native low level ARM instructions. You end up with a .ipa file that can be deployed to an iOS device without requiring any additional applications to be installed (like an Adobe AIR runtime).

Adobe Air installed with Cricut Craft Room

I installed Cricut Craft Room and in the process, Adobe Air was downloaded. When I went to sync to Cricut Craft Room, I received this Air error message: "Sorry, an error has occurred. This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
I have un-installed, tried to re-install and still no success. It appears to download correctly until I try and run something. I have Windows 7 environment and Air 3.7.0.1860 was installed.

Adobe AIR - Not connected to the internet

I was sent anvery urgent, important document that when I tried to open it, said I needed Adobe Air to read it. I downloaded the Air but when I tried to read my document, I got an error message that said i was not connected to the Internet. I was, of course!!!!!! I have tried everything including uninstalling and reinstalling several times but it still doesn't work and I get the same message. I am extrememly frustrated with being unable to find any support on the Adobe web site. This is the only post I see. i do not understand all the gobbledegook I see here. Anybody out there that can help? I need this document. Thanks

Adobe Air installation on Samsung Tablet 10.1 GT-P5210

Hi,
I am trying to install Adobe Air on my Samsung Tablet 10.1 GT-P5210 with Android 4.2.2 and unfortunately it is always giving error "Unknown error code during application install: "-24".
I did tried the following but no luck.
Reset factory settings
Delete the data/data files
ANy help is greatly appreciated.

If you're facing Error 24 while installing Adobe AIR, please read further. Samsung has recently pushed an update of OS to 4.4.2. Please upgrade to that and follow the steps below.
   Goto Settings > Application Manager > Google Play Store
   Clear Cache and Clear Data
   Launch Google Play and try downloading Adobe AIR now.

hi friends, I do have an adobe flex 3.0 application running on web..I want to convert the whole application on adobe air...

Problems installing Adobe Air & Adobe Reader X

Have downloaded and tried to install both apps to no avail, i keep getting error messages on both installs.
I have tried installing the windows install cleanup tool and cant find any adobe programs listed....
Adobe Reader X tries to install in ADMIN mode then near end i get the following message: Error 1402: could not open key: UNKNOWN\components\C37BC6 and a lot more numbers n letters, contact support
AIR 2.6 says : Sorry an error has occured
An error occured while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administartor. Please contact them.
I have only 1 account on my PC running w7 and im not sure what to do next to get them to install

We would like to distribute Adobe Reader without Adobe Air or

You don't need Adobe AIR to download or install Adobe Reader.
Try downloading the offline installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
