Adobe Air not allowing installation of new program
Hello,
I recently purchased a new Lenovo Thinkpad laptop running Windows 7 and when I attempt to install my school review program, I get this error message:
"The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author."
I have uninstalled and reinstalled all adobe software on my computer several times while restarting it between installations and still no luck. I do not know if maybe there is a different version of Adobe air that I need to install? I tried installing the software included on the CD as well as the newest version from the Adobe website. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Adobe Air not allowing "restore window" in Win 7 64 bit???
I have a very nice flex based program that I am currently marketing. A client recently bought a laptop with Win 7 (64 bit) on it. My prog loaded fine, as well as the latest version of Air. However, as the prog was running and the client minimized the window, it failed to "restore" to the desktop. It will now not restore even after rebooting the laptop. we have installed this program in every other type of OS/System combo we know of (read Microsoft/Mac systems, not Linux) and it works fine.
Our company hired professional programmers to build this app, and we have marketed it extensively to a select clientel list in the upper level of music and performance. Our company depends on Air to suypply the platform for our prog. Does anyone have an answer to this? We would love to send you a gift certificate for a steak dinner if your answer works...:)
PS: You can talk to our programmers if needed. WE really need this bug fixed. They say it's Air and not our prog, as it works well with any other OS, etc. Any help?

Adobe Air Not Installing - Admin account needed to install error
I am on a Windows Vista computer with over 100GB of harddrive space left. I continue to get Adobe Air install errors. I have:
uninstalled from programs and Adobe Air is not showing up so that is good.
removed all references from Adobe Air from registry keys
installed Windows Program Clean Utility and confirmed Adobe is not showing up.
I am logged in as the only account that has admin rights to the computer.
I have restated and still continue to get same error for Adobe AIR 1.5.2 Installer program.
It keeps on saying install not succesful. You need admin rights to install Adobe Air.
What do I do? How do I install Adobe Air? I have confirmed with Dell that computer is okay. I have a requirement where in BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKOUTVIEW2 need to be called from the front end (JAVA).
When i run this BAPI in SAP it works fine ,when i run the same form front end it throws the error saying
"RFC Partner does not allow to start the Program."( I have checked the error in debug mode).
SAPGUI is installed at the JAVA developers desktop,still am facing this error.
The error is thrown at the below code:

If you have an original iPad, that is limited to iOS 5.1.1 and cannot go any further. All other iPads and iPad Minis can get up to iOS 7.0.4.

Adobe Air. Damaged installation.
On start up I get a pop up " The installation of this application is damaged. Try reinstalling etc." Have tried reinstalling Adobe Air and get the same reply. I have now trawled through my registery files, deleting all Adobe Air files in order to get a clean installation and have reistalled AA but still get a "Damaged Installation" Can anyone suggest a solution?
Hi,
It's hard to determine exactly what is causing that error without knowing what app is causing it. Since AIR is just a runtime, it by itself isn't the cause of the problem. I think I'd try a couple of things.
First, I'd initiate an uninstall of AIR via the uninstall programs control panel. The first thing you'll be presented with is a list of AIR applications that are installed. Here's what mine displays, note the 3 AIR applications I have installed on this system. Click cancel once you've written down the list of applications.
Next, launch msconfig and click the "startup" tab. Examine the list displayed against the list you wrote down earlier to determine if you have an AIR application launching at startup. If so, uncheck the app in msconfig and click apply. Reboot and see if the error still occurs. After resolving the error, I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the offending application.

Application (Adobe air) not running
I have an application which was running fine last night as I was doing debugging and what not but this morning its not running - well it is but its not. See when i click run or debug I get the process Adobe Air Debug Launcher.
When i wait for 5 minutes nothing happens so I click run or launch again and it sais: If the program is already running, close it before attempting to run.
When I kill the Adobe Air Debug Lancher Process it allows me to run the program with the exsact same out put as stated above.
I tried shutting down the application (FB) and it doesnt matter - I still get the errors.
