I am trying to open a book on my ipad having bought it on my mac using adobe and blue fire but I am getting an error message of wrong device

"External" and "built-in" are opposite terms. Because you are confused by this, I suggest that you contact Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider for service. The service technicians will identify and correct the underlying problem quickly and efficiently. They can also explain the problem to you in as much detail as you need. Tap Settings > Safari then tap to clear History, Cookies, and Deta.
Then reset your iPad..
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.
If you are referring to Safari on your Mac, from the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then empty the Safari cache.
Back to Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Quit and relaunch Safari then try logging in to that website. -
i have the following problem: i lost my cs6 Adobe Production Premium installer dvds and the serials within the package, after all i logged here into adobe and cant find any product in my profile, so i am not able to see my serials or my installations i have on my macbookpro. Using Adobe with Blue Mountain web site
I am trying to create a greeting card with Blue Mountain. It uses Adobe flash to attach a photo. It was very difficult to get, but I was finally successful. I save my work onm the card, but when I reopen later, the photo has disappeared. Ameassage of some kind comes from Adobe and freezes the scrren so I have to close the whole site before I can free the computer.
How can I reach Afobe tech support by phone?Is Blue Mountain some kind of Adobe branch company? If you are having a problem using something that is implemented on someone's web site, then you probably need to contact that web site's owners to deal with the problem. I doubt Adobe tech support has any relationship to the application you are having a problem with.

If they are albums that you've synced from your computer then they are removed by re-connecting to your computer's iTunes, de-selecting them on the Photos tab, and re-syncing - albums and photos that you've synced can't be deleted (and albums can't be merged) directly on the iPad.
If they are albums that you've created directly on the iPad then you should be able to delete them on the iPad via the Edit button at the top left of the album selection screen. You can also copy more photos into (via the Edit button when within an album), and delete photos from, those albums. -
Screen get a little White-ish and Blue-ish due to After Effects.
I just downloaded the after effects cs6 from adobe, wanted to play around with it.
whenever I start the application as usual the application shows up their logo in a square shap and loads all the plugins etc.
while it loads and starts my screen gets white-ish and blue-ish.
it's only when I run after effects for the rest of the applications the screen is normal.
so far i can conclude that there is no problem in my display and it's only a problem when i run after effects cs6.
it never happened in after effects cs5 but happens in cs6 version.
i am using late 2011 mbp. 2.4ghz amd radeon 6770m 1gb grahpics. intel i7.

I grasp you have only had the notebook for 8 days. When you powered it on you got to the password screen but then it went to a black or blank display. You did a restore back to 4 days ago and now you get a blue Screen instead of the black screen with the cursor.
I would try a Refresh your PC to resolve problems Windows 8.
If you are unable to do the refresh here is a link to Performing an HP system recovery (Windows 8) to take it back to factory.
If the issue should return I would recommend contacting HP support for assistance as it is new .

Having issues downloading books from my local public library, already download adobe and overdrive.

When I get n email from. Cell phone that's a picture the email says I have a multimedia message but, that's all. It won't show an attachment or anything. I've tried opening the email in adobe and everything. How can I get the attachment to show? Please help.
You did not get an email, you got a MMS. You have to enable MMS on your phone before you can see the picture.

I know I have the latest version of the browser (because it told me so). When I hit the Download now button for the Adobe and indicate that I want to save it, it seems to take, but when I go to the Downloads on my Computer, it isn't there. I don't know where else to look or what else to check. I think I have successfully done this in the past, but it's been a while.
Do you have the "Green Arrow" icon on one of your toolbars? That usually will list your most recent downloads with a button to open the folder where they are saved.
If you don't have that, you can open the full download list using either:
* Ctrl+j
* Tools > Downloads
* History > Show All History, then click Downloads in the left column
Can you find the download listed there and click the "Open Containing Folder" button?
Are you downloading Flash or Acrobat/Reader?

Firefox's plugin check site only recognizes the Adobe XI (11) series as current, but if you have checked for updates in your Adobe Reader X or Adobe Acrobat X product (Help > Check for Updates) then you do not need to update the plugin. I am trying to use macro express and adobe acrobat 9 profession keeps shutting down, why is this happening? I tried to run as administrator already as well on both Macro Express and in Adobe and it still keeps shutting down.

I saved a PDF doc in adobe and then added text to the form. But every time I try an email it it only sends the original form without text. Once I've changed a doc in Adobe, how can I save it so that I'm able to use it with added text and notes? Also, I'm using a new iPad.
If you are using those apps or websites, they are likely viewing the PDF using iOS' built in PDF previewing, which will not show annotations and markup to the PDF. We have informed Apple of this issue, but do not have any insight into whether or when they will fix it.
Regarding the qustion about importing pictures, Adobe Reader does not provide any capabilities to import pictures into a PDF. To do this, you'll need to use Acrobat, available on your desktop computer. -
Lightroom 4 crashes when trying to open the slideshow module. I spent over three hours with both Adobe and Apple tech support and we know it is a permission issue but have not been able to get it solved. It started with the last upgrade to 10.8
Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command will take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2 (optional)
The first step should give you usable permissions in your home folder. This step will restore special attributes set by OS X on some user folders to protect them from unintended deletion or renaming. You can skip this step if you don't consider that protection to be necessary.
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open.
In the Terminal window, type this:
resetpassword
That's one word, all lower case, with no spaces. Then press return. A Reset Password window will open. You’re not going to reset a password.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.
