Canon and Adobe Premiere: cinema size?

Hey guys,
I am attempting to make a short film inside of Adobe Premiere CS4 using my Canon T2i. Unfortunately, I am stumped trying to figure out 1) the best way to import my mediaI into adobe, and 2) how to alter the frame sequence size so that it will display in a cinematic widescreen format. I can create a sequence to fit my camera's current setting and display a frame size of 16:9 (green). However, I would like to create a frame size much wider than that (blue). How can I do that?
I currently have my camera settings set to capture video at 30fps and in 1080p. Dimensions of media are 1920 x 1080. How do I get my media to look the way that i'd like? I can't seem to find any video tutorial or help anywhere online. I almost want to just throw some black bar overlay on the top and bottom of the sequence and call it quits, but I figured I'd ask here first.

Basically you can't stretch out your image without distorting it to fill that frame you want....instead you have to crop a portion of the top and bottom because it just wont fit otherwise...
sooo, here is an image of aspect ratios found in real life
I chose to show you sample of 1.78:1.... using this image ( which is REALLY drawn to the real aspect ratios ) I selected that frame in photoshop and transferred that selection to your image....then I expanded the selection ( new frame size ) to the edges of your green area and stroked the selection with black...so you could see the frame and the area you would LOSE ( top and bottom ) of your original footage in order to get that aspect ratio....
Then Bill goes on to explain that you have to set up a new project who's measurements ( height x width ) matches the aspect ratio you want and you need to fit your footage INTO that....which ( if you do the right measurements according to your footage compared to the new framesize) will automatically crop the top and bottom....or you can use motion scale etc

What color space does Adobe's Cinema Display have?

I just calibrated my Macbook Pro with a Spyder3Elite and got a bit desapointed when I descovered that the best color space it can show is sRGB. After finding this, and since I've been thinking about buying an iMac for a while, I got a bit frightened. Thus, I changed my atention to Adobe's Cinema Display in hope that it has a larger color gamut.
The thing is I can't seam to find anyone that can tell me what color space does this displays can produce, iMac nor Cinema Display. If there's anyone who has already calibrated any of these displays, can you tell me what's the best color space they can work on?

Ok, I'll try to be clearer to the best of my abilities.
1st off, There are 2 kinds of color spaces. Device-dependent and device-independent. Hence, a display has a limited color gamut that it can produce, it has it's own color space.
When I calibrated mine, this was the result:
Purple: Adobe RGB 1998
Green: sRGB
Red: Display's Gamut
The thing is, before I calibrated my monitor, I thought it had an Adobe RGB 1998. Got pretty desapointed when I found out it didn't... Nevertheless, what I'm looking is to know if there's any Apple display with a larger gamut than the one from my Mac or if they're all sRGB...

I am having trouble downloading a book from the public library and have already download the necessary programs required by the library. I have downloaded adobe and overdrive. I can not figure out how to get the book from Adobe Digital Editions to my ipad.

You did not get an email, you got a MMS. You have to enable MMS on your phone before you can see the picture.

I am trying to download the latest version of Adobe and when I go to the Downloads place on my PC, it's not there. How can I make sure Firefox is not blocking

I know I have the latest version of the browser (because it told me so). When I hit the Download now button for the Adobe and indicate that I want to save it, it seems to take, but when I go to the Downloads on my Computer, it isn't there. I don't know where else to look or what else to check. I think I have successfully done this in the past, but it's been a while.

Do you have the "Green Arrow" icon on one of your toolbars? That usually will list your most recent downloads with a button to open the folder where they are saved.
If you don't have that, you can open the full download list using either:
* Ctrl+j
* Tools > Downloads
* History > Show All History, then click Downloads in the left column
Can you find the download listed there and click the "Open Containing Folder" button?
Are you downloading Flash or Acrobat/Reader?

If you are using those apps or websites, they are likely viewing the PDF using iOS' built in PDF previewing, which will not show annotations and markup to the PDF. We have informed Apple of this issue, but do not have any insight into whether or when they will fix it.
Regarding the qustion about importing pictures, Adobe Reader does not provide any capabilities to import pictures into a PDF. To do this, you'll need to use Acrobat, available on your desktop computer.

Back up all data.

"Java" doesn't have a password, unless you mean your admin password for installing software. That's whatever password you (or the person who set your computer up) used to set up your admin account. That's the same password that you use when you start up the computer if you get asked for one. You cannot retrieve this password if you've forgotten it, but you can reset it and make a new one. "Adobe" is a company and likewise doesn't have a password. However, if you have Adobe cloud-based software you may well have set up a password with them. Adobe also require an account and password for downloading certain products. You'll need to contact Adobe to retrieve any such password if you've lost it.

Trying to install these programms again, I logged in to my account "my adobe" and immediately found my products listed there plus a link "download here". But clicking the link didn´t start anything. Nothing happened. How can I get my prgramms installed again?

To elaborate on what Sukrit posted, it is likely that the form is not an Acrobat forum but a Designer form or was set for distribution and is locked for editing. I suspect it was probably created in Designer and thus can only be completed in Acrobat or Reader since the PDF is really container for and XML structure and does not have the basics of a PDF document. If that is the case, you either need Designer or you can print to a new PDF and use the field recognition feature of Acrobat to recreate the form. Of course, the latter will require some editing to the form fields in most cases.
