  • Adobe Application Manager Doesn't list any 2014 versions of programs. How do I update to those versions?

My Adobe application manager doesn't list the 2014 versions of the core programs. I need them to grade the work of my students, as my school runs these versions and I can't open the work on my computer.

    Thank you,  for your help
I got it while waiting for the answer. The "Application Manager" is not how these get installed (how would I know that). I installed the "Adobe Creative Cloud" application and got the new versions.
It's was confusing because the Application manager installed on Nov 4. Very recently right! (but just prior to updating my operating system to Yosemite, OK Duh). And of course Yosemite has changed the look and functionality of everything, including this, so anything I was doing that should be intuitive was less so.

  • The Adobe Application Manager doesn't work, can't download trial software.

I'm on a Mac, trying to download a trial of Acrobat Pro X, and as I hit download, it launches the Adobe Application Manager. Once it's launched, it keeps spinning the blue-gray squares round and round and nothing happens. Is there a way to directly download the file and install it manually?
    Cheers,
    Rita

Ok, I tried and it has begun the installation.
The first time, before I got to the end, it said 'The Adobe Application Manager is already running.'
I was asked to quit, but there was no quit button, so I Force quitted it.
Then I started the installation process again, and now I get this error message:
The installation cannot proceed, because some of the processes are running.
Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
    I quit all Adobe products.
    Thanks for your attention.
    Regards,
    Rita

  • Adobe Application Manager doesn't work

We have bought two licences of the Creative Suite, but only one of these is ok. For the second one, when the user accepts the invitation of administrator and starts the download of  adobe application manager, he can only download the trial version and not the full version like the first licenses

    Refer to this:
    Sign in or activation errors
And naturally make sure the e-mail addresses used match exactly.

  • Creative Suite 6, Adobe Application Manager doesn't work.

When I lunched AAM, the error message is:  "There is running another instance of Adobe application Manager program. Please close the another instance" How can I solve the issue ?

You have to provide system info and otehr details. Other AAM instances would only be active if you ran updates on your apps or invoked some otehr online feature from within the programs.

In the past I had a problem with the Adobe Creative cloud Desktop Application and the Adobe Application  Manager.  Had problems more then once. Even requited Adobe assistance.  I Had to install to Adobe Application  Manager for when it updated itself is when the problems began. There was a problem in one of Adobe databases for my user id the file messes up was "opm.db" . Can not remember how things were finally fixed.  I post a search and the download links.

  • I am trying to download photoshop trial but it keeps saying Adobe Application Manager quite unexpectantly... how do i get past this?

Please help!  I am on a MAC and I can't get past it saying Adobe Application Manager quite unexpectantly.  It gives me the options of "OK", "Re-open" or "Quit".  I have tried all of them and they all get me no where!

You can download directly if using a different browser also fails.if you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.html and activate with your serial number. if you have a problem downloading, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies. The most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com), failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com.

  • I cannot update CS 6, Adobe Application Manager cannot be installed and doesn´t work

I have CS 6 installed on my Windows PC (Windows 7). It worked for a long time. Now I cannot update the Programm. At first I get the message "update failed, please download a new Version of the Adobe Application Manager". When I did it and tryed to install the application Manager, I got a new message: "Installer could not be initialized. Please download the Adobe support advisor to identifie your Problem." But the Support Advisor has been closed by Adobe and I cannot download the program. What can I do now? (please sorry for my bad english).

Thank you very much. That helped me and I can update my CS 6 again.

  • Adobe Application Manager Download Error (and other problems)

Last week I purchased a Creative Cloud membership (Student and Teacher Edition, if that matters at  all).  When I tried to download applications, the Adobe Application Manager seemed to be unable to connect and instead displayed "Download Error. Press Retry to try again or contact customer support."  I read some of the responses to this problem on the forums, and after trying several things, I got it to work (I'm honestly not sure what I did that caused it to work).  However, it is now failing to work again and I can't seem to fix it this time.  As an additional problem, When I tried to open Adobe Premiere Pro (which I managed to download when I got the App Manager working for a while), I got the opening screen that asked me to open a project or start a new project.  No matter what I clicked on, Premiere Pro closed with an error message. Just as with the App Manager (and at the same time), I managed to get Premiere Pro to work (it seemed to work after I set permissions so I thought I solved it), so I was able to use it for a day.  However, now the problem has returned.
I don't know if these two problems are related, but they started working at the same time and stopped working at the same time, so I'm posting them together in case there is a connection.  I am running Windows Vista on my home computer.  I can sign on to the creative cloud online without problem so it recognizes me as a creative cloud subscriber.  My Internet connection is working fine.  I have disabled all firewalls and it still doesn't work.  Very frustrating, obviously.
Thanks for your time and any help or suggestions you can give.

Kardypaine for your Internet configuration difficulties I would recommend reviewing Sign in or activation errors | CS6, CS5.5 Subscriptions, CS6 Perpetual - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html.
For the failure of Premiere Pro to open you will want to review the install log to see if you received an installation error.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret the installation logs at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.

  • Premiere Pro, Creative Cloud & Adobe Application Manager all wont open.

One day it was fine, the next it's not. My Premiere Pro, Creative Cloud & Adobe Application Manager all wont open.
No error messages, it just doesn't open. I can't get through to talk to staff (because why should you be able to right? You only pay for the service..)
Could someone please shed some light on my situation?
My Lightroom and Photoshop are running fine as normal. I wish I could provide more information but it's really that simple - none of it will open.
    Thank you!

At this point, I think I'd just download & run the Adobe CC Cleaner app, and use it to uninstall & clean up your PrPro & the Creative Cloud desktop app itself ... then download a fresh copy of the CC desktop app, install & sign into your account, then download & reinstall PrPro ...

  • How do i install lightroom from adobe creative cloud if my adobe application manager doesnt have it

i just got the adobe creative cloud and my adobe application manager doesnt have the option to install light room and more apps that the cloud has

Simple answer: If it doesn't show up, your system doesn't support it. refer to the tech specs on the product pages and verify the system requirements.
