Adobe Application Manager keeps asking for licence confirmation

I own a student licence for Adobe Creative Cloud. It has worked fine for some months but during the last weeks I am frequently asked to confirm my licence agreement when starting a CC app.
This has become quite annyoing. Today I used PS, AI and ID – every single App wanted a confirmation.
Is this meant do work like that, am I doing anything wrong or might there be an issue?

    I bought CS6 Design Standard a few days ago, and although I have already validated the software, these last couple of days every time I open Photoshop, Adobe Application Manager thinks I am using a trial version and asks me to choose between continuing this trial and licensing the software. After I enter my serial number everything works fine but it is a nuissance to be entering the serial all the time. I never even had a CS6 trial installed on this computer before. Is there a way around this? Is this happening because of my firewall settings? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Rather than starting a new thread, I prefer to pile up on this one.
    I have the same problem. Quite regularly, Adobe Application Manager (AAM) ask me if I want ot carry onthe trial or enter a license. I entered my license so often that I know it by heart now.
    I'm under OSX 10.6.8 (iMac desktop), French language (same for CS6 standard).
    I have only one user, and it is an "administrator".
    Rather than asking about privileges, what are the files this application manager need access to? Where are they located? Which file? Who should be the owner and what should the permission be on those files? Would a "Repair permission" fix this for these application files (i.e. non system files)?

    PS: The same CS6 is installed on a laptop under 10.8.2 (with same serial). I use it rarely. But there it does not seem to have the same issue. So far, AAM did not ask for serial again and keep updating happily.

    I don't know why you are getting these errors.  Try downloading & installing the updates manually from http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates.html

    Adobe application manager keeps opening and will not allow me to install creative cloud. I am trying to sync fonts and the install is not working. The adobe application manager will open on its own and not allow the creative cloud app to install. I do have other creative cloud products installed however the creative cloud installer icon is not appearing in my toolbar nor does creative cloud show up as an app. I get an error message that I must have creative cloud installed when I try to sync fonts via the type kit to photoshop.

    as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
    Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)
    I quote: ... helps resolve installation problems for Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite (CS3-CS6) applications. The tool removes installation records for prerelease installations of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications. It does not affect existing installations of previous versions of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications.
    Please use: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html  and follow the prescribed sequence of operations
    Sometimes the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.

  • Can't trigger LR CC download because Adobe Application Manager keeps quitting.

    I recently updated to Mavericks, I have CS5 package installed since it came out, now wanted to update LR and Photoshop to CC. Can't trigger the downloads because Adobe Application Manager keeps quitting. How do I get the dog files????

    I can think of a few things to try:
    Download and install the latest version of CC Desktop from:
    https://creative.adobe.com/products
    Update it until there are no more updates to CC Desktop.
    See if that fixes the problem with AAM quitting.
    If not, then maybe uninstall everything from Adobe using the normal OS uninstall process, then run CC Cleaner, then reinstall just CC Desktop and PS-CC:

    Before uninstalling it, check your PS-CS5 to see if there are any plug-ins, presets, or other customizations that you want to make note of so you can replicate or update them for PS-CC.

    I recently canceled my CS Cloud subscription about 3 weeks ago and went back to using CS6. I was using CS6 Creative Suite without a problem until 2 days ago. Now my CS6 programs (AI, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) won't open. Instead the Adobe Application Manager keeps popping up to renew the subscription, see below insert.
    I have chatted with Adobe customer support numerous times but when it comes to transferring me to their technical support, the chat mysteriously becomes unavailable. The only time the transfer went through, I was advised to remove CS6 Creative Suite using Cleaner Tool and reinstall, which I did but my CS6 still does not open and the AAM keeps popping up giving me the same message to renew the subscription. The AI/Photohop icons just keep bouncing up and down without opening while the AAM pops up.
    What can I do to stop this annoying AAM from popping up and open my CS6? I just want my CS6 to open up again. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Please help!

    I just purchased the Adobe Creative Cloud membership. My adobe applications manager keeps downloading in Spanish. I've change the language settings to English (international) in the preferences. No luck- all the adobe applications still show up in Spanish. No idea how to fix this.

    Reinstalling really should make no difference.  Did you perhaps use any utilities to remove additional languages from your Adobe Applications?  I am seeing increasing reports of users who have utilized these type of utilities which is then leading to unexpected behavior such as application updates not installing successfully.
    At this point I would recommend reviewing your installation logs to see if there are any error messages which might explain why you are experiencing this issue.  You can find details on how to review your installation logs at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.
    If you are unable to locate any specific errors then I would recommend contacting our support team when they are open on Monday.

  • Adobe Application Manager keeps Crashing

    I'm using the Cloud subscription and most of my programs need to be updated. Application manager keeps crashing when I try to update. I've tried unchecking the programs and then only checking one at a time and it still crashes. Also, it says I need Adobe CSXS InfrastructureCS6, but I can't seem to find that on the site. Any advice?

    Unable to rent or download films as keeps asking for confirmation of payment details to be updated at iTunes Store. I have it over and over again but to no avail. Have run updates (all up to date) and tried resetting device. Can download music ok on laptop, iPod and iPad so it must be Apple TV fault?

    Go to your account on iTunes and edit payment information, type in the security code from your card. Click done. Now try again on the ATV

    I am trying to upgrade my camera raw so I can view my files in bridge and open them up and it always says that the adobe application manager is damaged.  I've re loaded it at least 7 times.

    It's only a guess but try
    Option 1
    Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
    Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
    Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

  • Adobe Application Manager keeps opening/closing?

    Installed 6 copies of CS5.5 Design Premium this weekend on some machines in our studio. Did all the updates, etc. and everything was fine. Now, on 3 of the machines, every minute or so, the Adobe Application Manager pops up in the dock, then dissapears after a few seconds (nothing opens on-screen or anything). Anyone know what's causing this?

  • Network Manager keeps asking for WPA passphrase

    Hi, I finally managed to install arch on my netbook, everything seems to be in working order apart from my wireless connection..
    I've installed and configured the broadcom drivers for my card from the AUR and both the access points I usually connect to (under windows/ubuntu) are visible.
    firstly I tried to connect to my access point using wicd, it appears to work until it trys to validate the connection and eventually returns the error:
    'Connection Failed: Bad Password'
    im 100% certain i have entered the passphrase correctly.
    I googled around, to find some people are having similar problems - i couldnt find a complete solution to my problem but a lot of people were linking to wicd-bzr. I have the same problem using wicd-curses..
    next i decided to try NetworkManager, I uninstalled wicd and installed networkmanager 'pacman -S network-manager-applet'
    again, the manager displays all available access points, i try to connect to my router and it repeatedly asks for my passphrase and never manages to connect.
    does anyone has any ideas?
    im using xfce4 (i also tried in gnome), the broadcom device is B4312, and the network security is WPA. Cheers.
