Adobe Application Manger Corrupted

I am attempting to install Photoshop CC from my Team account.  When I hit the download button I get the following error: "Adobe Application Manager is corrupted and must be reinstalled.  Please contact Customer Service." Help.

The best way forward is probably to downlaod the new Creative Cloud app from http://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

    Sorry for the late reply. My email firewall has become a little over zealous & sent a lot of my emails straight to my junk email folder, so I have only just now discovered your reply in my junk mail folder.
    The only "don't open files exceeding xxx megabytes" instruction I can find in my Prefs, is in the Bridge Prefs for Thumbnails, & mine is set at 1000mb. The biggest files I handle are bigger than 200mb so I should be able to open a few, not just one.
    However, this doesn't explain why I can open a psd format file of 180mb, close it, but then can't open a RAW format file of only 26mb immediately after.
    I can open the RAW file only if I restart my computer - very annoying!
    However, thanks for the advice about the video card & memory.
    So, I'm still stuck as to what the issue is.

    I have a Creative Cloud membership and went to download another product and Adobe Application Manger came up and prompted me for my password. As soon as I het enter I realised I put in the wrong password. Now the blue boxes annimate for a minute or so and then I get an error "Unable to reach Adobe Servers Please check Internet settings and try again" and I have two options Quit or Retry.
    I want to be able to break this loop and re-login with the correct information. Quiting AAM and starting over it automatically trys to log me in with the previous incorrect password.
    I tried searching the forums and also Adobe support chat but that was unsucessful.
    Any ides would be appreciated.

    I saw this but it was greyed out and not accesable when the animated boxes were going. After the annimated boxes stopped I was presented with the error screen with only two options so once again the Sign Out button was not available.
    I was able to get past this.
    I found the alias for Adobe Application Manager in my Applications manager and did a right-click and selected "show original" from there I ran the RemoveAAM, which brought up a shell in Terminal.
    I then did a restart and it it logged in with my correct password and now seems to be OK.

    Hi,
    I've been trying to update my Photoshop and Illustrator CC 2014, but the updates fail with a message that tells me to quit all instances of the Adobe Application Manger.  The only problem is when I go into my activity monitor, I don't see that process running at all.
    I'm running on a MacBook Pro, OSX 10.9.5, and Adobe CC 1.8.0.447

  • How to force Adobe Application Manager to reinstall all the cluod products

    Due to a serious failure on my Windows 8 computer I had to restart the configuration from a Safe Point; unfortunately that configuration was not including Adobe products, so the restart has PARTIALLY erased main part of my applications, but NOT COMPLETELY. In this moment i have some directories on the disk, but can't uninstall anymore products like Photoshop, Aftereffects, Encore and all the rest from the Windows Uninstall tool. And, Adobe Application Manger STILL BELIEVES THEY ARE ON MY HD, so all I can do is to update tools. If I update nothing happen but the waste of time to wait for download. I would like or to uninstall AAM and all the rest or to force reinstallation, but how can I do?
    Hope not to have to wipe all the HD and reinstall all the operating system and other applications from scratch. Thank you for any support.

    Albertos35110529 are you trying to install the Creative Cloud Desktop application or are you trying to open it?  If it is already installed then you will want to open it from the Applications folder.  You can find more details regarding the installation process at Help | Download, install, update, or uninstall apps.

    Yes, at first I tried to download the trial from the link below. I also tried with the link you just provided. Both times I get an error message - Error 205. From there I found that using the Adobe Application Manger should solve that problem, but the application manager keeps crashing. When I click on the "download trial" button in the link below, the application manager opens briefly but crashes after a few seconds.

    restart your cs6 design standard installation and you might be given an option to fix your app manager.
    if not, uninstall it and reinstall using the design std installation files.

    I was looking around, because nowwhere before does it mention %temp%\AdobeDownloads\ Based on the error that comes back, I decided to turn on hidden files in Windows (Just type Hidden Files in the searchbox) and go see this AdobeDownloads folder. It is not there. In other threads relating to this issue, they talk about files in the
    C\User\Username\Appdata\Local\AAMUpdater\1.0\ folder.
    One of the logs here gives the following errors:

    It is not strange that the AdobeDownloads folder is not there, since the Adobe Application Manager never has a chance to start. This is NOT a notwork error in the classical sense because I am able to download InDesign and all other Updates from Windows, visit every website.
    Don't get me wrong, I fully realize that VM's are not supported. But I can name you 20 consultants who ALL run in a VM. Heck, even I ran this SAME Windows 7 version, with Parallels 7 AND 8, half a year ago, untill I had to start fresh 3 weeks ago. I CAN download InDesign, install it and activiate it with my Creative Cloud account, but I can't update them. The error is above.
