Adobe Applicaton Manager - Code A12E1
hi,
i can't complete the installation of adobe application manager - code A12E1 - for downloading Apps via Creative Cloud.
MacPro, OS X 10.8.2
I have cleaned all old CS installations (3, 4, 5, 5.5) with Adobe CS Cleaner Tool and no AAM Processes running, Application Manager downloaded via Creative Cloud and directly from Adobe Website.
Any more hints what to do?

Adobe offers a Cleaner Tool, which removes the database entries but not the physical files associated with the installation. Run the program uninstallers to remove all components.
Remove Creative Cloud on Mac OS
1. Double-click your hard drive.
2. Go to Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers.
3. Run all of the Adobe uninstallers to remove all of the Adobe Creative Suite products.

I am getting Error Code: A12E1 when trying to run Adobe Application Manager.
System: Windows 7 64-bit
Software: CS6 Production Premium CS6
I have tried the following:
Restarted
Started the program with "Run-As Administrator"
Downloaded and re-installed Adobe Application Manager
Renamed the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE folder, and tried all methods above.

Errors with Adobe Application Manager (code U44M1I200 & U43M1D204)
When I try to update CS6 with the Adobe Application Manager, I get an error for 12 programs.

Adobe Applicaton Manager Error
Application Manager shows 2 Updates:
Photoshop Camera Raw 6.7-Update + Update für Adobe Extension Manager CS5 5.0
But insallation failed.
Adobe Support Advisor has detected a problem, but has no idea to solve the problem and doesn´t know why.
I tried several times to reach the telephone hotline with no success.
What can I do?

Adobe Application Manager Error A12E1
Whilst waiting for my Cloud Membership, I thought I would try downloading the Application Manager, however I get an error code of A12E1 and get told to come to the forums for help. I have searched and cant find out what this error code means.
I have tried to download for a second time, but still get the same problem.Also getting this error. Windows 7-64 bit. Nether 'AAM Update Notifier' or 'AAM Registration Notifier' are running here is the %temp%/PDApp.log:

Please perform the below steps:
1) Reboot the computer.
2) If error still persist, Rename the OOBE folder to OOBE OLD from
Mac: MAC HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
3) Download Creative cloud once again and try launching.
4) If you still faces an issue then Quit/End the AAM notifier process
Windows:
Press Ctrl Alt Delete
Start Task Manager
Click the 'processes' tab and check if you have AAMNotifier running
If so, click End Task
Mac:
Go to Spotlight (magnifying glass at top right on your screen)
Type Activity Monitor
Press Return to open Activity Monitor
Check in the Activity monitor for AAMNotifier
Quit that process if you find it

Upgrading Adobe Application Manager gives error A12E1 - now what?
Just wanted to install Flash. But Application Manager first needed upgrading and it stalls on an error like "seems to be a problem with installation (error code A12E1)". What do I have to do now? I got a similar error code 5 weeks ago, and to remove the Application Manage I had to remove ALL Adobe apps first! I really hope there is another way of fixing this.

A12E1 Error on Failed Install of Adobe Application Manager
I am running Mac OSX 10.8.3 and I am trying to install Adobe Application Manager, the install goes most of the way through then fails and gives me an Error code: A12E1.

Thanks Jeff! So, it totally appears as if it was a network issue. The corporate network where I work is quite likely the culprit. Where I was thrown off is that since I have admin rights on my computer, I can install software. But using Adobe Application Manager to install Adobe software wasn't working. And to make matters worse, there didn't appear to be any way to install Acrobat Pro for Mac without using AAM. The workaround that I used previously was to install the trial versions of Adobe software, and then just register them using my username and password. But the workaround for being able to install everything using AAM was to bring my computer home and download from my home network.

Error Code A12E4 with Adobe Application Manager
I have been on the 30 day trial of the Creative Cloud, and have now just signed up for my membership.
I went in to download more apps and check for updates on the ones I already have. No matter what I try to download, it of course opens the Adobe Application Manager as it should, but then the Application Manager tries to update. It then errors out, and this is what I get:
