Adobe Audition App Crash on Startup (windows) ImageRenderer.dll Fault Module

I just installed Audition and when I try to open it I receive an error message that it has stopped working and my options are to close the program or check online for a solution. I checked online and nothing came up. I checked my account and everything is up-to-date. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it comes up with the same error code. Can someone please help me to figure this out?
When I view the problem details it says:

INZ123....
Actually Adobe looked into this very thoroughly for me. I was in contact with Durin who passed all of the information I gave them over to their programming department. They then asked for additional information via Email, which is why it's not on this thread. After several back and forth messages they didn't know why it was happening. One thing that they did point out, which I wasn't aware of, is that Audition is one of few Adobe products that requires the SP1 pack for Windows 7. I had just installed 7 on a new system so I hadn't updated to SP1 yet. However, even after I upgraded to SP1 it didn't work. I would recommend checking to be sure you are up to date with Windows, which is why I mentioned this. Maybe it will help you. I know it helped others who had the same issue as we have. I knew that Adobe was working on an update to address so other issues and I was hoping they could figure it out with the update. I installed the update and after that I WAS able to run Audition 2014 after that. So make sure that you do run the update.
I was always able to get Audition CS6 to work without any issues so while Adobe was trying to figure out why it wasn't working for me I just used CS6. If you have the subscription then you can install CS6 via the Creative Center by going to the Apps and down to the Find New Apps section. Just make sure that you have the  versions turned on. You will find that you can download and install CS6 from there.
Hope that helps....

  • All Adobe CS1 Apps Crash on Startup!  Preferences?  Permissions?  Fonts?

Hey, everybody. Yesterday, after my lunch break, all of my Adobe CS1 apps are freezing my system upon startup. I reinstalled the apps twice to no avail. Next, I verified and repaired permissions on the HD. Nothing. I deleted the app preferences in the User/Library, and tried restarting, but they lockup before they get a chance to rebuild the prefs. I also verified all my fonts through Font Book, found one damaged, removed it, but made no difference.
For testing purposes, I created a new account, and all the apps work! So now I'm trying to get them working on the old account.
I junked all my user preferences (after making a backup of course) and restarted. Back to "fresh-out-the-box" mode now, just like my test account. But the apps still freeze up my system. I'm now running Alsoft Disk Wizard, but it's been chugging for 7 hours, and I know this has to be a user thing.
    Any thoughts? Thanks.
    Emily

This could be due to other problems such as bad permissions, broken associations, etc. Because it affects applications it isn't a problem that's user related.
As a first crack I suggest repairing the hard drive and permissions:
Boot from your OS X Installer. Be sure to use the installer for the version of OS X you have installed. After the installer loads select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (or Utilities menu if using Tiger.) After DU loads select your OS X volume from the list on the left, click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer. Now shutdown the computer for a couple of minutes and then restart normally.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior (3.0.3 for Tiger) and/or TechTool Pro (4.0.6 for Tiger) to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
If this doesn't work let me know.

  • Creative Cloud (app) crashes on startup after update

After the last update (which probably went wrong), creative cloud application (the menubar app) crashes on startup.
I've tried uninstalling (uninstaller stalls) and running Creative Cloud Cleanup Tool but to no avail.
Below I've included  an excerpt of the crash report from the log (I could post the complete log report but that seems to cause troubles posting).
    Anybody have any suggestions?

  • Why does my Adobe Audition keep crashing on my MacBook Pro?

Why does my Adobe Audition keep crashing on my MacBook Pro?  I've updated everything, and there are no other issues.  It is OS X and Audition CS6.  When I'm mixing a track, it will just shut down with a crash notice.  Very frustrating.

    Hi,
What is the crash notice you receive?  OS X is very good about keeping extensive, detailed crash logs.  If you launch Applications > Utilities > Console.app  and open the "User Diagnostic Reports" group on the left, can you drag the most recent Audition crash report into an e-mail to [email protected] ?  The contents of that file should make it more clear to us why Audiiton or the OS thinks a crash is happening and will help focus troubleshooting.

  • Since installing Maverick, all Adobe CC apps crash when I am trying to save or import.

Since installing Maverick, all Adobe CC apps crash when I am trying to save or import.  I might be able to save the file if I do not try to select anything other folder than the current folder that opens (last opened).  I do not use the cover view option (I see some have had problems with that), but almost always have it in list view.
Is there some setting I need to set or is there a fix for this somewhere?
Also, is it just me or does it seem like Mac crashes more now with Maverick than before?

  • ALL ADOBE CC APPS CRASH UPON OPENING

So I'm just trying to figure out why it's such a common problem that the Adobe CC apps crash that there is no simple fix to find online. I've been jumping through hoops, following all sorts of forums but none them help. Even went as far as disabling my graphics card and launching the apps. I'm paying for the worst product ever in my life. And when I chat with someone they refer me to call Adobe during business hours. Well I work and go to school full time during the time my time does not have any room to haul my laptop and play trouble shoot. Guess I have to miss work and skip school to get money's worth. Thanks a lot Adobe. In my major I will be using Adobe products across the board. If there is anyone out there who has found a solution please let me know. Or hey I know if anyone who works for Adobe has a solution can you please help me out.

Does adobe audition 1.5 work with windows 8?

Probably not. It doesn't even work properly on many Win 7 installs. But before waiting a hundred years for someone to provide the definite answer, you can always try yourself, of course...

  • My Adobe Collage app crashes each time I push the camera roll button

I have tried all. From the first time I started the app my camera roll button has pushed me out of The Collage app.
I have my settings on for location service. I've restarted both the app and my iPad 2 and I've also erased the app and reinstalled it. No other photo input crashes the app. Just when I push the camera roll button and it takes me out of the app in a splitt second.
It's very frustrating paying this much money for an app that I can't use in my work because it don't need other peoples photos but mine.
Please look in to this as fast as possible.
    Best regards
    Ami

I don't have any albums in my camera roll only the one main album.
I have location on so the app should be okayed to look at my photos
    correctly.
I have now tried to erase the app twice and also restarted my ipad2. And
reinstalled the app. And it's the same the whole time. If I push the camera
roll button to use my own photos it just jumps out of the app right away.
    And it's very frustrating.
Everything else seem to work fine but it's a useless app if I can't use my
    own photos to show customers.
    Best regards

  • LiveCycle Designer app crashes, C++ Runtime Error, MSVCR80.dll, 8.0.50727.4927

I am running Win 7 (x64) on both systems I have tested this on.  One LC Designer cam with Acrobat 9, the other Designer I downloaded as standalone.  I keep getting the following the error when first saving the PDF as a dynamic XML form:
    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
    Application Name: FormDesigner.exe
    Application Version: 8.2.1.4029
    Application Timestamp: 4982564c

    Additional Information 3: b134
    Additional Information 4: b1345fb3cfb1e3e77afc95fd717bab18
This is a huge issue for me, since I will need to save the PDF as dynamic everytime I work with it.  I never had this problem last year when I first got Win 7 up and running, am wondering if a microsoft update along the way somehow has helped with this error.  I've tried everything I could find in related posts.
I can save as XDP file, if that helps anyone.  Just having this issue with dynamic PDF.
    Help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks.

I have also upgraded Designer to 9002.2245.2.0, which includes both SPs.  Still crashes, same problem.

    Ay ideas?

    Hi,
How frequently are you facing this crash?
Did you find any reproducible steps for the crash?
Regarding the slowness you are speaking about, do you face this issue only when you add hotspot quiz slide to your existing project or will it happen even if you create a new project and add hotspot quiz slide to it?
    Thanks,
    Vikranth.

    Any Suggestions??

I just scanned a few threads citing this exception code. Most often, the problem is either a graphics driver or, more specifically, having both an integrated graphics chip and a graphics card. In the latter case, disabling the integrated chip generally solves the problem. Here's an especially illuminating thread on just how tricky it can be to be sure that the graphics card situation is all settled: Unable to launch Photoshop CC 2014 - igdfcl64.dll

  • From Trial to Purchase | CC 2014 Apps Crashing after startup

All Creative Cloud (2014) apps crashing immediately after opening
I was running Premiere Pro CC as a trial, when the trial ended, I opted to get the whole Adobe CC 2014 catalog for a cool $50/month.
I installed the apps I needed, updated my Nvidia graphics drivers but when opening anything (Premiere, Photoshop, Audition, After Effects CC 2014) the apps would just crash. No error message, just open, I can see the program, and then it closes.
    Solutions I've tried:
Uninstalling / Reinstalling: I've removed all Adobe products and used the official CC Cleaner Tool and reinstalled using the Cloud App. Same problems; crash upon opening.
Signing in and out of the Cloud App after reading somewhere it might be an account bug. Crash upon opening.
Signing in with a different account thinking my account used to purchase is bunk. Crash upon opening.
The usual restart, update graphics drivers, virus check and light, frustrated punches to my monitor. I've tried everything short of reinstalling the OS (which I'd rather not do).
Running any app as admin / current OS compatibility mode. Crash upon opening.
    Things worth noting:
Another computer can log in and use the account's apps fine, seems to be specifically my work computer which has the problem.
I had separate versions of all apps before like Premiere CC (no 2014) and After Effects CC (no 2014).
    Computer Specs:
    Windows 8.1 Pro
GeForce GTX 650 Ti (driver version 340.52, current as of 8.02.14)
    AMD Phenom II X6 1075T
    16GB RAM
If anyone has an solutions, I'm all ears. Like I said, I don't particularily want to reinstall my OS so I'm hoping for a fix that might help me stay on my feet.
    Thanks,
    Ed
