Adobe Bridge CC Output Module Issues

I'm having to continually uninstall and reinstall the Output Module folder and workspaces file. The web gallery function in Bridge will work a few times, and then the next time I try to use it, it will create a folder with the usual index and resources, but when I click on it to test it, or upload it onto my server, no gallery or images or anything ever loads. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Output Module files (found at http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html) at least five times. I'm running it on a MacBook Pro with 10.7.5 and Bridge CC is current.

There are several long threads about this subject.
Be sure to follow the instructions exactly (using the correct libraries and folders, be aware that by default the user library in Mac is hidden per OSX7) and also look at these threads:

  • Bridge CC Output Module Issues

Is anyone else having issues with Bridge CC Output module? In every other version of Bridge I have used, I have been able to make PDFs or HTML slideshows from selected images without any problems or need to download any components. However, in Bridge CC, the "Output" link in the Bridge CC interface did nothing. Then I downloaded AOM components, including an Output workspace, put them where they needed to go in the Library, quit Bridge and restarted my computer (iMac 27" running OS10.9.1). This time, when I clicked the Output link, it did change the interface (from "Essentials") to what looked like the Output arrangement but the right-hand panel, where I normally have my PDF or HTML options, is blank. Appreciate any help.

  • Scripting Adobe Bridge CS4 Output Module

Anyone done it? An API definition appears absent from the Bridge CS4 SDK documentation.

Thanks. I'm not familiar with ExternalObject, can you shed some additional light on the subject? Previously I've used the Adobe Photoshop Scripting Reference to figure out what objects to instantiate and invoke. I note all sorts of things I can invoke in the Bridge CS4 docs, but not the Output Module. These files you refer to on the drive, I'm not sure what you mean. I can find all sorts of jsx samples, but none pertinent to this particular issue.
    Thanks again.

I need help. I have an assignment I'm held up on completing because the adobe cc bridge does not have the output modue I need. I followed the adobe instructions page to the letter. I copied and pasted the output module folder to the adobe bridge cc extensions folder in programs/commonfiles/adobe. The only thing is the instructions then say to paste the workspace file into the workspace folder located below the bridge extensions folder. I don't have a workspaces folder there or anywhere. I even tried must making one and adding the file to it, but no go. can someone PLEASE help me with this?    I have an assignment due like now that requires the use of the output modue.thanks!

  • Adobe Bridge CS6, Output to HTML Gallery coding issue.

Adobe Bridge CS6, Output to HTML Gallery coding issue.
I have created the html, JavaScript, css file using the output function in Bridge CS6, which nicely generates the coding, pages, folders and files. I can edit the html files such as gallery title, name, etc., in Dreamweaver CS6 just fine and preview them in a selected browser (both chrome and IE) and everything works fine.
When I ftp upload the files and directories into my hosting account (Go Daddy), the images do not show up. The file table appears but the thumbs images does not appear and when selected to preview the larger image, it does not appear either. I have not altered the file structure at all. Go Daddy says it is a coding issue, but I cannot fine any errors.
Have you seen this issue before? All Adobe help research have failed. Any suggestions??

Have you asked on Go Daddy site for help in uploading Adobe Bridge script?  Just to say it is coding is not helpful.

  • Adobe Bridge CC - Output?

I am trying to create a contact sheet PDF using Adobe Bridge in Creative Cloud (I am currently on a trial version) but can't find the Output function I have used to do this before in Adobe bridge (non CC).  I have tried to fo into the settings but the module doesn't appear to be there to select either....help anyone?

To add the Adobe Output Module to Bridge CC, please follow the directions here: http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html
We have repaired and updated the files to correct an issue where the panel would appear blank if you did not have Bridge CS6 installed.

  • Cannot use Bridge after output module added. VERY frustrated. Thoughts?

I've followed the instructions for adding the output module. I've done it 3 times. Once the process is finished, Bridge will not open.
Not sure why the option wasn't included in the CC version of Bridge, but I'm getting really frustrated, and wondering why I'm paying for this.

A lot more information about your hardware and software is needed.
    BOILERPLATE TEXT:
If you give complete and detailed information about your setup and the issue at hand,
such as your platform (Mac or Win),
exact versions of your OS, of Photoshop (not just "CC", but something like CC2014.v.2.2) and of Bridge,
your settings in Photoshop > Preference > Performance
the type of file you were working on,
machine specs, such as total installed RAM, scratch file HDs, total available HD space, video card specs, including total VRAM installed,

if having issues opening raw files also the exact camera make and model that generated them,
if you're having printing issues, indicate the exact make and model of your printer, paper size, image dimensions in pixels (so many pixels wide by so many pixels high). if going through a RIP, specify that too.
a screen shot of your settings or of the image could be very helpful too,

  • Bridge CC Output Module fix works on WIN7, not on MAC OS X

I have CC installed on a WIN desktop and a MacBookAir. Everything is up-to-date. The are no old Adobe versions installed.
I installed the recent 'fix' on the desktop and it works fine.
On the MBA, there is no folder as named in the Adobe instructions (Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions).
There is no "Extensions" folder, just the Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC. This is where I copied the file and folder. The 'OUTPUT' module appears as a selection in Bridge, but does not appear when selected.
I have tried the sugested trouble shooting fixes, to no avail. I have searched and read the other threads on this subject on the forums.
Is there anyone who has made this fix work on OS X and can help me correct this?

On the MBA, there is no folder as named in the Adobe instructions (Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions).
To me this seems to indicate you are looking in the wrong library.
The give path for install needs to be done in the library from your system itself: MacBookAir (or the name you gave it) / Macintosh HD (or the custom name you gave to your start up disk) and then library / App sup / Adobe/ Bridge CC Extensions
I believe you are trying to install in the user library and there is only a BridgeCC folder

  • Adobe Bridge cc outout module to web and pdf

The only thing is the instructions then say to paste the workspace file into the workspace folder located below the bridge extensions folder. I don't have a workspaces folder there or anywhere

Where is the "hidden library" on a Mac?
It would be much easier if a simple fix was provided by Adobe...we are not IT people and would appreciate a simple solution please. This all takes up time which I'm sure we have limited.
    Thanks

  • Help needed with Bridge PDF Output Module

    Hi:
I posted this in the Photoshop forum but got no replies except to try here. I created a PDF presentation with 34 jpg images which I want to send to a publisher by using the PDF output module in Bridge. the images have the sRGB color profile embedded in them and the colors look vibrant when the jpgs are viewed in CS 4. However the PDF that opens in Adobe Reader shows the colors looking very dull. Is there a way to view the PDF in CS 4 or a way to make them appear as they should in Adobe Reader? Maybe Adobe Reader has no color management capabilities, I don't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Bridge CC Output Module not working for me

I have installed the Output Module in Bridge CC (Which I can't believ was not included and that it is not an auto update as I thought was one of the big positives of this whole CC concept)  but while it opens and looks ok, when I try to create and save a pdf contact scheet, I get a message saying "The file or folder does not exist." and nothing is created or saved.  What gives?  This is a major feature of Bridge to me as I use it a lot.
By the way, the web gallery does not work at all, either.

Have you read through the help doc  http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html

    Thanks,

Using Windows 7, I am able to open RAW files into Camera Raw but since I bought a new Canon camera (6D) I can not open these Raw files.  I went to the update menu and I get a "Update Server not responding" message saying to server might be down temporarily or I have to check Firewall/internet settings. Now I'm lost and frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated

  • Bridge CS5 Output Module only uses first 20 images and ignores the rest

This happens with all the different styles, both PDF and Web.  Even though more than 20 images are selected, only 20 show up both in the preview and in the final PDF or web page.  It just started happening.

    It just started happening.
This always means First Aid for Bridge, that is first to purge cache for
folder using the menu tools/cache/purge cache for folder while having the
content window pointed to the folder the problem occurs.
Second option is renew preferences by holding down option key while
restarting bridge and choose refresh preferences. Try again and if OK set
prefs again to your wishes to see if it still works.
