Adobe Bridge doesnt work

I cant open the adobe bridge. I bought it a few days ago. The other programs are ok but the bridge doesnt work. What can I do?

"Reveal my scripts folder" is to reveal the user's folder for costom scripts, not public scripts. If you have no custom scripts like you developed yourself and want to load it into Bridge, then the folder is empty. It's normal.
The issue seems not plugin but scripts installed by Photoshop not working. Could you please let me know the version of Photoshop and Bridge:

You mentioned you updated it 1st time, you mean update PS or Bridge? Could you please send me via private message the install log of update? You can find it here:

Reinstall the software properly. migration/ backups do not work due to the specific requirements of the activation system.

CS5 Extended Adobe Bridge Not Working

I am using CS5 Extended Adobe Photoshop Student and Teacher Edition. It was working properly not 'til I installed Check It Registry Cleaner this morning. When I started to work on certain pictures I took this afternoon, and I open Adobe Bridge so I can drag the photo on the main layer and use refine edge, I do not see the "+" while dragging the photo. In this regard, do I have to uninstall CS5 Extended Adobe Photoshop and re-install again. On another note, I turned off the computer and tried to see if it will work properly, but it will not drag the photo to the main layer so I can use refine edge. Your response in this regard is greatly appreciated.

Adobe Bridge not Working

I have just purchased Photoshop CS6 extended and though Adobe Bridge is installed, I cannot get it to open within or outside of CS6. I have 64 bit Windows 7 and I can see that the Bridge software is installed and CS6 is working fine. It keeps on saying "waiting for Bridge CS6" so it must be a setup problem that should not exist. What must I do as I am not an IT techie?

Why won't Adobe Bridge CC work with Photoshop CC (2014)?

When I try to launch Bridge CC from Photoshop CC (2014), I get the Creative Cloud App window and Bridge won't launch.

After reading a slew of blogs, I've come to the conclusion that Adobe is working on a fix, but it may be some time before that happens. It's really not a deal breaker, as one can launch Bridge first, and that will open PS CC 2014. Time wise it's not much of a difference.

Adobe flash doesnt work after i installed .

so i cant play online games so i decided to get the adobe flash download, it installed and everything, but videos on sites and games still dont work, i uninstalled it and re installed it 5 times. and google chrome wont download either it doesnt show up in my downloads folder

Adobe download doesnt work for either plug ins or not

Adobe plugin doesnt work. the latest version 11.

after a recent wipe of firefox. a complete clean sweep. i need adobe flash player for many sites. it simply doesnt want to install. inside the browser, it tries to install. but its say failed. try manull install. so i try manual. i download it ok. i open it ok. then it prompts me to click "run". i do that and nothing happens. Adobe reader doesnt work :(

I tryed the new update and does the same thing at first it would close internet explorer 7 but i disabled pdf linker helper and the pdf file downloads to my desktop okay but when i go to open it it just closes any ideas i tryed alot to fix this with no success

I have same problem. Cannot open some PDF files.
Files that fail to open have following PDF properties:

Fast Web View: No
PDF Version: 1.6
Unhid all hidden files and Did a find file for ip2klib.dll
ip2klib.dll was not found on in any folder on any of my disc drives.
I installed the 30 day demo version of Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 and it also fails with same error message and event log entries as Reader 9
When I attempt to open any pdf files that are on my system that were created by Acrobat 7.08, I get same failure.
I also finally gave up and Installed Foxit Reader.
It opened the Acrobat 7.08 pdf files and all other PDF files that I have tried.
Reader and Acrobat Problem may be due to the ip2klib.dll file not being installed.
Did a search for ip2klib.dll on Google, Microsoft Web Site and Adobe Web Site and only found it in replies to this post.
Anyone know where I can find ip2klib.dll or have any other suggestions.

after installation of my CS6 Master Collection i noticed that Adobe Bridge istn working. Whats the point: When I try to start the program there's any notification about errors or something. It's just dont loading. Does anybody know what to do? Help me, please

I'm telling You: nothing. Just nothing. I cant give You more info's because there isn't any notification about error. I just click on shortcut and that's it , nothing happens. I don't know how to explain it in better way

FFX file preview with Adobe Bridge

I did post a similar thread in the Adobe Bridge Forum but I thought that possibly the AE comunity may understand my problem a little better.
I wanted to begin learning After Effects CS4, unfortunately Adobe Bridge CS4 is halting my education.
My approach to viewing the presets, I begin from within after effects, I click the drop down tool bar on the right hand side of the [effects & presets] panel, I then click browse presets
If I explore any kind of After effects CS4 preset, and preview it inside of Adobe bridge, my pc freezes. The preview window, within Bridge CS4 turns blank white while it freezes,
the Windows toolbar of Bridge CS4, says not responding temporarily, if a wait a little while around 30-45 seconds I regain control of my pc again, the preview box occasionally will show a still image and sometimes it will stay white or flickers. If I do wait the 30-45 seconds the toolbar window no longer says 'not responding' I can click to a (non) After effects preset folder, (for example) 'My family pictures' and it will operate normally but if I go back to the After effects CS4 presets again the freezing will occur once more.
What I find strange is that Adobe Bridge previewing, works absolutely fine for my photoshop documents, Illustrator documents, and any Jpeg photos I have, all after effect presets fail to preview, regardless of type if it's a still shape background or animated sprite, the same freeze issue occurs

so far I have downloaded all important driver updates for my graphics card, my card is a nVidia GeForce 7900 GS 256, I have also reinstalled bridge and AfterEffects, I have downloaded the latest Quicktime player, I tried reinstalling it additionally.
I am a Windows vista user, also I have enough RAM I believe, just over 3 Giga
I dont know how useful the info is on my Pc spec is, but I thought it could be worth mentioning.
I have looked for a few hours to find some kind of thread with a solution, I have been unsuccessful, I hope someone can help.

I do have the latest Quicktime player installed, I would'nt have have thought that would halt me previewing CS4 after effect still shapes and backgrounds? but.. I'm not to sure if I'm honest.
well I tried uninstalling and reinstalled my player still no sucess sadly.
do you know roughly what date all these old threads popped up?
I'm going to scavenge for them anyway in the the hope I find something useful. *must be positive*

Uninstalling Adobe Bridge CS6 after installing Adobe Bridge CC

I got all of my Adobe Applications on my MacBook Air through the new Adobe Cloud service. At that time, all of the applications were Adobe CS6. When I saw that Adobe Bridge CC was available, I downloaded it immediately. I had been having problems with Adobe Bridge CS6 working with my Adobe Photoshop CS6. After installing Adobe Bridge CC, I did not find the uninstaller application for Adobe Bridge CS6. I found two copies of the uninstaller for Adobe Bridge CC. Where can I get a copy of the uninstaller for Adobe Bridge CS6 for Mac?

Vizzpat there is no separate uninstaller for Adobe Bridge CS6. Adobe Bridge CS6 is installed by several applications. When those applications have all been removed then Bridge CS6 will be removed as well.
In general you can locate the uninstallers for Mac OS in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. You can also find additional information regarding installing and removing applications at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.
