Adobe Bridge problem, Anyone help?
Hi
I am using After Effects and want to add an effect to Text i use the brower presets option which opens Adobe Bridge. Adobe Bridge normally allow a preview of the effect in the preview section. However where the preview should be an 'unidentified file' icon appears with the file name eg Character Shuffle In.ffx.
If anyone can help with this it would be much appreciated. I am using CS5 on windows 7 64 bit.

When I try to open up camera raw it shuts down Adobe Bridge, can anyone help?
I am using mac. My problem at first was that when I tried to open a RAW image it would just shut down either photoshop cs4 or bridge cs4. Then I installed that Camera Raw 5.2 update, now I can open a raw image if I double click it from my desktop. But once I am in bridge and try to open a raw image, it loads for a few seconds and shuts down bridge. Is there a way to fix this?
Even when I when I try to change the camera raw preferences in bridge (File > camera raw preferences) that also shuts down bridge.Go to photoshop, and check , in the Photoshop menu>about plug-ins
What version of camera raw do you see?
There should only be one camera raw plug-in installed at the default location (check the read-me or the FAQ of this forum) -

Are you trying to say that pointing to your computer in Bridge you get an error message telling you that you need to purge the central Cache?
If so, go ahead and purge it.

Can you please check the value of the registry entries at the following location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
In case the values for any of the entries (i.e. Common AppData, Common Desktop, Common Documents etc.) is referencing to E:\, change the value back to look something like below and you should be good to go. -

Please gidet me in resolving my problem with TRYING to open a file in Adobe bridge CC only to be presented a message telling me that it can NOT be opened because CS 5 is no longer on my computer of which I already know. Although if I go into explorer I can double click it and it opens into Photoshop CC fine.
ANYONE with an soultion to this problem and is WILLING to share the information I would be EXTREMLEY appreciateive.

Once again thank you for being paitent with me in trying to resolve thsi problem, I am having a bit of confusion with trying tounderstand just what ext you are refeerring to.
I go to preferences and see all the exttions BUT do not understand which one I need to select and when I do select it do I then go to reset all defauls option?
I apoligize for seeming ignorant in this discussion but i am not grasping this procedure correctly I assume.

Adobe bridge cs5 64bit - HELP: photoshop plug-ins doesnt work
Hi to all this is my 1st post since its my 1st time to have a problem with adobe. My problem is that i selected a number of images and tried a batch image process thru Tools > photoshop > image processor. After clicking nothing happens. I also tried the other plug ins like HDR, Batch etc but nothing seems to work. I went to the directory folder and all of the plug ins are intact and in the " plug-ins " folder. I also updated everything just now but still no luck. What happening here,please help me out. Thanks
Dex"Reveal my scripts folder" is to reveal the user's folder for costom scripts, not public scripts. If you have no custom scripts like you developed yourself and want to load it into Bridge, then the folder is empty. It's normal.
The issue seems not plugin but scripts installed by Photoshop not working. Could you please let me know the version of Photoshop and Bridge:

Bridge: Help>About Bridge
You mentioned you updated it 1st time, you mean update PS or Bridge? Could you please send me via private message the install log of update? You can find it here:

I have downloaded the adobe student suite and whenever I open any of the adobe applications my laptop is incredibly slow, I cannot use any other application at the same time and often have to force quit. I have taken all my files off my laptop and added to my external hardrive. Can anyone help please?
What about other non-Adobe programs on the machine - do they also run slowly?
What are your system specifications? How do they match up to the system requirements for the software? -
II've just setup a new iPad Air for my daughter with a new apple ect, everything is working fine, but I can't get it to redeem the I tunes voucher. It asks for I'd and password, put them in and comes up with wrong Id/password. They are not incorrect answers, but reset password just incase. Same problem. Also tried making another apple account. Same problem again can anyone help?? Please

CS5 Design Premium Installation Adobe Bridge problem
When I try and install CS5 Design Premium it fails because it wants me to close Adobe Bridge (which is not open) and won't let me go any further. I tried uninstalling CS3 but it won't let me because it wants me to close Adobe Bridge.
What Now?There shoult be a Bridge icon in the system tray (bottom right corner), close Bridge from here and run the uninstaller or if you don't find this icon you can kill process Bridge.exe but this is not always the best way to overcome a problem. I would recommend closing the application from system tray icon.

Imac G5 Airport very weak, no signal, problem anyone help?
Hello all, I just got my Imac G5, Rev A, back from getting the powersupply replaced (it was a recall some time ago; mine started to power down only lately on its own). However, when I got the Imac back it only just bareley registers my Airport Express...I've tried rebooting, reinstalling, etc. My Ibook laptop picks up the signal at full strength anywhere in my apartment, so i know something is wrong with the mac and not the signal. I've tried to take out the airport card and see if its plugged in snug, etc. I'm beginning to think that when the techs were changing the power supply they might have shorted my card or perhaps the antenna system??? Anyone help? I"m out of warranty, but I figure if i call them and tell them the situation they might fix it regardless...i'd love some advice guys, thanks.

Hi i need help! I can't print any jobs, LR5 starts to print then the job disappears from the print cue. I can ! print from other application no problem.

Please try the following steps:
Open the file in Adobe Reader
Click on File menu - Print
In the Print Dialog box, select the Printer and then select Advanced button
In the Advanced print setup, Please check 'Print as Image' (See the Screen shot)
Click Ok and then Click Print.

My work requires that when I create prints for artists I must replicate all the prints exactly everytime. It worked perfectly from PSE2, PSE3 and PSE4 but now......
I am unable to replicate quality of printing on MACOSX PSE6. it works great on PSE4. I mailed some printed images on art paper to adobe in amsterdam and a cd with the same images. After weeks of discussions phone, email and after testing using their work flow....they came back with some answers.
Finally a couple of replies from Adobe re colour problems and they have accepted that they are double managing the image and that I should use printer management to do the colour conversion.. here are their two replies and the comment that they will now drop me until???????

However since Photoshop Elements managed prints are incorrectly double colour managed it is not as useful as it was initially designed. As to the exact details of why this occurred, we have no official information. We believe that this will resolve the issues you are experiencing, however, should the reply not help solve the problem, please contact us again, quoting the case number given above, and we will re-open the case.

I downloaded town of salem off steam, when i tried to run it it said i needed to get/update adobe air, so i though thats not too hard, when i procceded to download it and install it a message came up saying "An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator." i searched all over your fourms and one thing kept coming up, download microsoft fix it. So i did, i ran it and uninstalled adobe air from my computer, because i already had a older version. Then following the fourms guidlines i re-downloaded adobe air installer and it still didnt work. Im very much so angry at this so please help me. Here is my logs
