Adobe cannot show documents in my Firefox Browser version 16.0.2

For the last few months I have not been able to open and print my bank statements. I have updated both Firefox and Adobe. When I click the bank's statements link, it opens a new window, but the window is empty, and I get an Adobe box that says "Adobe Reader cannot show documents in this browser. We are sorry, but Adobe Reader is unable to show documents in this browser configuration. Please use your browser to download this file and open it in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat. To avoid this message in the future, many browsers provide a way to turn off certain add-ons, and some are able to show this document natively. Please contact your browser vendor for more details."

Firefox Browser Version 32 alerted me to an update which installs a gruesome malware plug-in

As a mac user, I have Firefox browser version 32 (for MacBook) installed on my Macbook Pro for at least a year. I get the browser updated every once in a while when Mozilla alerts me on any new versions releases. Today, I was alerted to an update on my current version 32. As soon as I clicked for update install, I realized that my browser is redirected to the legitimate website of Mozilla Foundation, however, the new update has a definite malware plug-in. I tried it three times, with twice at my own and once during my remote support session with Apple OS Support agent. As a user, I don't get much time on Mozilla website and moments after reaching this website, the URL is redirected to some "Conduit.....com..." with a super long URL that kind of hacks your browser. It leaves several entries in the registry and stops accessing any intended URL. Instead, it takes you to wherever the malware wants. Sometimes you see some malware "App Magic" and the like other unknown yet easily deceptive malware websites. Out of no choice, I finally had to clean my system and uninstall firefox. I am now waiting for Mozilla Firefox to take cognizance of this issue, have it resolved and notify me before I can actually do it. Btw, once I also saw a toll free no. starting with 1-855...... claiming to be Mozilla Support team who are aware of the issue and I should call them for customer support. Out of my high doubts, I did not trust it so never took a note of it any further. Mozilla needs to identify this breach and notify Firefox Mac users of whatever malware breach is occurring due to potentially a breached update version.

If this was a legitimate install from www.mozilla.org or update In Firefox then it did not come from Mozilla or with Firefox. No version of Firefox for Windows, Linux and Mac OSX from www.mozilla.org comes with any form of malware, viruses, adware, toolbars, bundled apps etc.
It would be a first if your claim is true.
You mentioned Conduit, well that is a known adware toolbar extensions company or business or whatever you want to call them though condiit.com seems to have changed to other things now.

I cannot seem to download the Firefox browser because the download screen doesn't produce any window for me to click on to run or save.

When attempting to download the Firefox browser, I click on the big green button to download, then I am taken to the next page which says it should begin in a few seconds. Nothing happens. I was trying to download Windows 7 and was told on the MS site that Windows 7 could not go on an XP.

Right click functions does not work in Firefox browser Version 33.

I have a iMac destop 10.6.2 and use the AOL Mail web site with your Firefox Browser. It has worked great for years. I update the firefox to 6.1 and now I cannot send images using the Firefox browser. With Safari browser it works fine.

I use AOL mail - http://www.aol.com/ with my Firefox 6.1 browser. Before updating aol mail worked great with firefox for years. Now when I try to send ( upload) messages with a file or images I always get the reading " there was a technical problem and I should try again". Messages with NO files or images go through just fine. I have cleared the Firefox history, the cache and cookies and the problem remained the same. The question is does this problem have something to do with the latest update ? AOL are still only familar with the 3.6 Firefox versions. Thanks

Well I guess I was too optimistic. Since last posting I have had three hang events, one during reboot. When the login dialog box came up I clicked on it and it hung.
However I do have a new data point. I have enabled the remote login (sshd). I have discovered that when the system hangs like I described above, I can still log in via SSH from my Windows system. The shell appears normal, but when I tried a "killall Safari" command the OS crashed hard. After a hard reset, the system hung during the login process. Again I could login remotely, and that time I executed a "sudo reboot" via the remote session. That cleared the display to all-blue but did not successfully reboot.
Can anyone suggest what to try via the remote login to help diagnose what is happening? I am familiar with typical Linux architecture but the differences in Mac OS X are leaving me a bit disoriented.

Why does Youtube shows up tiny in Firefox browser on Windows 7?

Just out of nowhere YouTube went crazy in Firefox on Windows 7. It has been fine, then we went to view YouTube and instead of it showing like a normal website and like YT has always done, it shows up tiny, taking up just the middle of the screen and you can barely read anything. We have our company internal application which is protected by SiteMinder. When we type https://appname.domain.com in IE i get popup window asking me to enter uid/pwd and works fine. However same URL when i login in FireFox, i get pop up window two times. So i wonder why FF is asking two times instead of just only once.

That said, have you checked Tools > Error Console for any differences in errors and warnings between your 3.6 install and your 4.0 install? Because a lot of extraneous data can collect in the console, I suggest first using Clear, then reloading your page and looking for any errors that could affect scripts in general, then trying the File button and checking for new errors.
