Adobe Captivate 3 Serial Number/Windows 7 Problem

Hi,
Wonder if anyone on here could help me.  We have a volume license for Adobe Captivate 3 and it is installed and working fine on several XP machines.  However when I try and install the same software, with the same serial number that has been accepted everywhere else, but on a Windows 7 machine, it no longer see's the serial number as valid...

Sorry, but I'm not clear on what you want to know. Are you asking if moving to 5 from 3 is considered an upgrade and therefore qualifies for upgrade pricing from Adobe? If so, you will need to ask Adobe Sales on that. If you are asking about how to go about upgrading a Captivate 3 project so it becomes a Captivate 5 project, it's pretty tough to accomplish.
First you have to open Captivate 5.
Once Captivate 5 is open you open the Captivate 3 project.
The Captivate 3 project is converted to a Captivate 5 project.

  • Adobe Captivate 8 serial number message preventing me from using right product

    I wanted to download Adobe Captivate and accidentally purchased the Captivate 8 Upgrade.
    I discovered my error when I was prompted to "upgrade" a qualifying product that I did not own.
    I then downloaded the trial version, in order to demonstrate the value of the commitment (show my employer what the program could do) but the prompt to select a qualifying product keeps preventing me from accessing the trial version.
    I have spoken with tech support and the cancellation of the original purchase is supposed to have begun/completed.
    Now I can not launch the trial or full version as it continues to auto detect the upgrade verification code and states it can not find a product to upgrade.

    I understand that, however...
    When I launch the trial version (I want to create something to show before I spend money on our company's account) I am asked to sign in and immediately taken to this screen.
    I have no option to proceed.

    Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

  • Adobe Illustrator CS6 serial number does not work on my new MAC. It does work on my old MAC.

    I have Adobe Illustrator CS6 installed on my new Mac but the serial number does not work.
    Do I need to remove the program on the old Mac first?

    You can install it on two computers simultaneously, so uninstalling is not needed if it's the only other installation.

    I need to download Adobe 8 onto my new computer after my old computer crashed but Adobe says my serial number doesn't exist. I have a screen shot of it though and they still say it doesn't. What do I do?

    If you are looking for the serial number from within your application then its not possible. Please contact support for further help.

    Is this happening with one particular network or with all?  Make sure iOS is updated on the device.
    Try this:
    Reboot ipad by pressing and holding both the home and sleep/wake buttons at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go. Then try to connect to network.
    Go to settings, Toggle airplane mode on/off. Make sure bluetooth is off. Turn on wif (airplane mode off). Try to connect.
    Reset Network Settings
    Go to settings/general/reset/reset network settings. Then try to connect to network.
    If its your home router, then reboot router by unplugging for 5-10min. (do this while you're resetting network settings).
    If problem persists, then check for firmware updates on your router.(you check router manufacturer support website for downloads and instructions).

    I have manage to install Flash CS3 but everytime I click on

    Delet the file "Lightroom 1.0 Registration" in the following places:
    ~:Library:Application Support:Adobe:Lightroom:
    (~ = your home folder).
    and
    Library:Application Support:Adobe:Lightroom:
    (The library-folder att the root of your harddrive).
    If you only have that file in one place. Just delet that one.
    Restart LR and register again.
    I think this will work for you.

    Trying to install Premiere Elements ....
    Entering serial number provided by email after online purchase (from Adobe) on a Windows 8.1 OS gives "Adobe genuine software verification failure": "The product you are trying to install...appears to be counterfeit"
    Tried installing a trial version and then entering serial no. into purchase option - didn't work.
    Any help would be much appreciated. I have spent a total of 5 hours (over 2 days) on the customer care chat line to no avail....

    This is not Adobe. Rather user to user. From your description of the issue, it would appear that Adobe is the only one who can resolve your issue.
    Please confirm what version of Premiere Elements is involved and on what computer operating system is involved.
    If you purchased Premiere Elements 13 from Adobe within 30 days of purchase, Adobe should be able to resolve this problem

    Have installed Adobe Captivate 7. During installation I was prompted to enter my Adobe ID and Product Serial Number.

  • Cannot activate adobe photoshop invalid serial number

    I allready run in circles for days now and cannot contact someone from the helfdesk. This is the problem: I bought the suite design and web prem and received a serial-number from techsoup. I also receive a login-code to download the separete installation-files from the suite.
    After installation I tried to activate Photoshop with the serial-number I received but it says it's invalid. I have the idea I need a separated serial for each program in the suite, but if I click on pack, serial numbers it refers to a site about volume licensing and I cannot create an account for this.
    It starts to become frustrating.

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro serial number will not install or register

    I just purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and tried to install it on my computer.  I entered the serial number and registered it.  However, every time i open the program, it warns me that my 30 day trial will expire in 0 days.  I click on "license this software" and enter the serial number again, and register it again.  It works for one instance of use, then the insanity begins all over, and the trial expiration message pops up next time i open the program.
    I have tried uninstalling the software, then running the adobe cleaning tool, restarting the computer, then installing the software again.  This did not solve the problem.
    It is nearly impossible to talk to a human being at Adobe customer support.
    Can anyone help me?
