Adobe captivate - install issue

trying to install adobe captivate 32-bit but keep getting error msg. that No subscription found. adobe support is not helpful as they want us to add their license servers to our proxy servers but we get this error msg. even on a home network. any help is appreciated.

Question: I have purchased a Adobe Captivate 4 license and I have downloaded the setup file from adobe site and installed in a x86 windows XP machine which is joined in a windows 2003 server ADS.At first I installed as trial version once installed I provided the key after all a windows will come up with asking the license agreement I click accept but Nothing will happen nothing will run in the system, also I cant uninstall when clicking uninstall nothing is happen .I have tried installing by creating a folder under the program files as adobe2 then I can start the program but after a while or afte many time but this doesn't help .I have the same problem in other machines too. can any one help me?r a day it will again as the license agreement windows and I selected accept then the same problem I have tried reinstalling

Adobe captivate installed but doesnt gets open it hangs

I installed trial version Adobe Captivate 8 on my machine but the application doesn't opens it continuously loading.

Hi There,
It seems that issue you were facing is due to fonts installed on your machine.
Can you try to take the backup of the fonts installed on your machine by copying all the fonts and save on your desktop in a folder .
Once you take the backup then try to delete the fonts that you can from its original location under C drive and restart Captivate 8 and see if that makes any difference .
Note- Let me know if you are using Mac OS as fonts location will be different.

Adobe Captivate 6 Issues

I recently had a virus and my Adobe Captivate 6 applicaiton had to be removed and reinstalled.
1. When I attempt to open the application now, I recieve a pop up box that says, "Some Adobe Captivate features such as screen capture and audio may not work as intended without Administrator privileges. Right Click the Adobe Captivate icon, and then chose Run as Administrator to launch Adobe Captivate in Administrator mode." This was not something I was required to do in the past, why is this step necessary?
2. When I attempt to use Themes, I am being informed that all overrides to object styles and properties will be lost. Do you want to continue? This step is resulting in my text captions appearing with black triangles on each corner and in some instances a black background with greyed out letters. How do I set this option keep ovverides to object styles?
3. How do you change a set as default theme?
4. Is it possible to restore cached files that were previously worked on? If so, how?

You probably had Administrator access set up on your PC previously and Captivate was set to launch with Run As Administrator privileges. Now you don't for some reason. Perhaps whoever did the work on your computer has not set it up the same way this time, in which case you will find Captivate will not work properly.

Adobe air install issue

EDIT: I have figured out a workaround to this. I created a 2nd administrator account, and installed air from there, and it went away without a single issue.
Trying to install adobe air, and it continues to fail everytime. Here are the logs I've been able to gather.
Running Win 7 x64, intel quad core, 6gb ram have no previous installations of AIR. I've also tried installing it in a few different compatibitability modes and get roughly the same errors.

Adobe photoshop Installing issue

I am trying to install adobe photoshop cs6 on my pc with 64-bit operating system, i get the following error message when i click on the set up link:
(( installer failed to initialize. this could be due to a missing file, download adobe support advisor to detect the problem))
I can not download adobe support advisor, please let me know how can i solve this issue?

Please follow these steps:
uninstall the installed version of Story.
     If you are using a Windows machine, then you can uninstall it from Control Panel.
     If you are using a Mac then
     - go to the 'Applications' folder,
     - move the 'Adobe Story' app to Trash.
     - and also delete the application from Trash.
Then download the latest installer from this location: https://story.adobe.com/AIR/AdobeStory.air
Double click on the downloaded file to install it.
You will not lose your existing documents with the above steps.

Adobe reader installing issue

When I try and open a PDF i get this message "before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch adobe reader and accept the end user license agreement then quit and relaunch the browser" When i install i never get to accept this because its not showing up

If you installed the Adobe Reader to the deafult location you will see it in your Hard Drive / Applications folder and not user's directory.
Try this:
1. Quit the Safari
2. From Finder > Go > Go to Folder... > type in the path : /Applications/ and hit 'Go'
3. Launch 'Adobe Reader'
4. Accept end user license
5. Open PDF in Safari.

Could you please check the exact version of Adobe Captivate installed on your computer (Go to Help > About Adobe Captivate) ?
Please make sure that it should be updated to 8.0.1.242 .
You can also try resetting the preferences of Adobe Captivate by renaming the Captivate 8.0 folder at C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Adobe to Captivate 8.0old .
Note :- Adobe Captivate must be closed while renaming the folder.

Issue with download of Adobe Captivate 8

Hi at all!
I have one issue really strange.
I have tried to download Adobe Captivate 8 on Adobe's website.
But when I click on the button "install now" suddetly one window appairs and it ask me
the path of the computer for to save my file.
When I choose a path of my computer other window appairs and it tell me
"It's impossible save a file".
I don't understand, I have tried to change a path but nothing It doesn't work.
I hope that somebody help me
