Adobe Captivate Quiz Analyzer not reporting

When I login to Captivate Quiz Analyzer the Course selection shows what appears to be a course code and the student name and I can not generate a report. Please see the screen shot attached. Any Help? Thank you!

Hello,
Can you tell me the version of Adobe Captivate quiz result analyzer you
are using ? 1.5
Can you tell me the version of Adobe Captivate from which the course was
published ? 5.6.3.631
What happens when you click on Generate Report ? I get the error "No
results available for this course."

Adobe Captivate Quiz Analyzer Question

Could you please kindly advise me....when I run the Adobe Captive Quiz Analyzer, I receive the message "No companies found in the current user account." I did, however, add the company name in the Captivate 8 "Configure Internal Server Settings" dialog. Is there something else that must be done? Is the company name perhaps restricted to one word? Thanks. The analyzer seems to recognize the local server, but does not see the company name.

Do the reporter and read php files have to be at the same level as the actual captivate file in the website?
I put the two files at the root directory level.

Generate Report Troubles with Adobe Captivate Quiz Results Analyzer

I'm new to Captivate 5 and am trying to utilize the Adobe Captivate Quiz Results Analyzer.
I've enabled report for my project to Acrobat.com and configured as instructed in the online help. The Post Result button appears on the Summary page and appears to work for the two colleagues taking the quiz. But when I click the Generate Report button in Adobe Captivate Quiz Results Analyzer, I get the message "Data is not present on local file system, downloading course data," but nothing occurs - no course data appears from the colleagues who are helping me test the quiz.
I'm able to sign in to the Quiz Results Analyzer and it does display the organization, department and course name, but no course data (see image below).
What am I doing incorrectly that keeps this from generating a course report?
Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Your solution worked at first. I went in, took the course, and then went into Analyzer and was able to Generate Report and look at my stats. However, I had a colleague take the course. She did and posted the results and received a "successful" posting message. Then, I went back into Analyzer and clicked the Generate Report button to see how the system worked when there was new learner data. A "Checking for new data" played for a half hour before I finally gave up.
I know that you were able to reproduce this issue where in clicking the Generate Report a second time brings up the loading animation that stays forever and that you were investigating the issue, but I thought I should post here just in case anyone else has a solution.

Adobe Captivate Quiz Results Analyzer not generating results

I am using Acrobat.com to track my quiz results. I currently have 26 modules, however 5 of them will not show results in the Adobe Captivate Quiz Results Analyzer. I have tried the quizzes myself and posted the results, however it is still not showing results for the 5 courses. Any suggestions as to why 5 of the courses aren't generating?

Export multiple entries in CSV format - Adobe Captivate Results Analyzer

I'm currently developing and testing a quiz in Captivate 8, which I have set up with the assistance of my IT colleagues to report to an internal server.
All appears to be working correctly with regard to capturing the data. I can access and read the data using Adobe Captivate Quiz Results Analyzer 1.5.
I note that I can see the individual responses and I can drill down to see the details of the interactions - interaction type, correct answer, student answer etc.
My issue is that it seems that you can't batch export this detailed information for multiple participants when I use the 'Export to CSV' function. It appears to only allow you to export the data for each individual that you have drilled down into. Given that I have several hundred participants that isn't going to work.
Can someone tell me if this is a limitation of Adobe Captivate Results Analyzer or is there a way to do this using this tool?

Identifying Questions in Adobe Captivate Quiz Results Analyser

Hi All,
We have seen people requesting for identifying the Question from with in Adobe Captivate Quiz Results Analyser. In what way do you think Question needs to be reperesented within Adobe Captivate Quiz Results Analyser?
Will it useful if we show the actual thumbnail of the question itself?
Or just showing the Question text will suffice?

Maybe you'd be better off turning off the shuffling of answers (given that it fouls up the reliability of the variable representing what you want) and use Question Pools instead.
This would allow you to get some randomisation of the questions (which is what the answer shuffling is sort of trying to accomplish) but you'd be tracking actual questions. You could have a number of variations of the same question in the pool.
Does that get you any closer to your goal?

How to get Adobe Quiz Analyzer to report the scores

Currently I have a quiz that reports to an internal server, the quiz was created with adobe captivate 6. The xml files are being created on the server for each person that takes the quiz. When I use adobe quiz analyzer, I get all the reports for everyone that has take the quiz and I can see what they got wrong but i dont get their actual score. The score shows up as a zero. Does anyone know how to fix this? in the xml their score is listed so i know that the quiz is setup correctly.

Adobe Captivate Quiz Results Analyzer - Use agreement error

I've been using the Quiz Results Analyzer for a few months, but yesterday I encountered the folowing error message when I tried to log on:
"User has not accepted terms of use agreement."
I understand the intent of the message, but I don't understand how I could have installed/updated Captivate without accepting the terms of use.
I've tried reinstalling the Quiz Results Analyzer, resetting my support password, and updating all my Adobe programs, but the error continues.
If anybody has any ideas I'd love to hear them because my courses are useless if I can't see my learners' quiz results anymore!

Sachin at the Adobe Captivate Support desk solved this problem for me. I just had to log on to the Acrobat site (not Adobe!) and accept the terms and conditions agreement. Thanks Sachin!

Adobe Captivate 4 - Flash Not Installed Error

We are using Adobe Captivate 4 on Windows 7. Since the Microsoft Windows Updates around January 8, we are unable to open Adobe Captivate 4. We get the message that the Flash Player is to be installed and the application shuts down after the message that an Internet connection is required. I have followed the steps on the Adobe Help page: Error: "Adobe Flash Player is not currently installed" when you start Adobe Captivate with no success. I have even uninstalled Adobe Captivate 4, reinstalled it and followed the instructions on the aforementioned Help page. No luck. I am running Firefox and Internet Explorer and IE is the default browser. Adobe Captivate 4 acts as though it cannot connect to the Adobe Flash website, but I already have the most current Flash Player installed. We use Adobe Captivate 4 primarily for Quizzes since we can effectively e-mail the results to trainers. We do have Adobe Captivate 7 and the Quiz Results e-mail feature does not send the results; only a blank e-mail shell. Is there any solution to this Captivate 4 problem?

Unfortunately, that is not an option. I work for a state government and the computers are locked down for security reasons. Updates are handled by an IT group and pushed out to all state computers. We were running Flash Player 10 and everything worked fine until the Flash Player Update was pushed out as a Microsoft Update on January 8th. There have been subsequent "Security Updates" to the Flash Player pushed out via Microsoft and none have corrected the problem. Even if I could uninstall the current Flash Player and install an older version, it would just be updated to the current Flash Player tonight.

Adobe Captivate 5.5 not updating scores ...

I published a SCORM 1.2 course using adobe captivate 5.5 and uploaded the course to LMS but its not updating the progress(Score) of the Course to LMS. Can you please explain how can i get the progress of the course while Im unloading the page..

I don't have a quiz in my course, but I was able to get mine working by setting the last "next" button on the slide before the last as a quizable object set to give 1 point in the properties panel for that button. Then, in the publishing preferences, I use:
This works for me, but some LMS's are more picky. I had to play around with the settings in these panels until I got it to work with my LMS.

Capture User Information from Adobe Captivate Quiz

I created an Adobe Captivate (version 5.5) interactive training, which includes a 10 question quiz. Unfortunately I can't seem to figure out the best way to get the user to submit their name, location, and email along with the quiz. Without this I just seem to be getting the quiz results without any identifying information. I tried adding a "short answer" slide, but then I seem to have to create several of those slides just to get one piece of identifying information at a time. Is there an easy way to get the user's identifying information on a particular slide before they submit their results?
(As a side note I'm having a tough time even getting the Post Results working in the first place. But I'm thinking it might be better to ask that as a separate question since it's not necessarily related to this one.)

On Adobe Captivate Quiz

Hi,
I want to create a quiz as seen in the following site: http://science.howstuffworks.com/invisibility-cloak-quiz1.htm?answerId=140312 in which after each question the answer is given immediately. Is it possible to create with same approach in Adobe Captivate 5.5?

Captivate's standard multiple choice question type requires the user to click a Submit button after making their choice, at which point a Sucess or Failure feedback caption can immediately provide text-based information to the learner. These feedback captions can take many forms. To replicate the type of feedback shown in your example course, you would need to use a transparent feedback caption type.
In fact, the example course from your link has to reload the page to show feedback. Captivate courses can do it a lot quicker because the content is already loaded for either success or failure feedback.
However, one difference with your example course is that it gives feedback as soon as the user selects any one of the choices. They are not using a Submit button. If you wanted to get closer to this model of interaction then you would need to create your quiz question on normal Captivate slides using radio button widgets instead of the multi-choice question type.
So you are certainly not short of options with Captivate.
