Adobe CC app

Adobe's treatment of it's customers has been appalling since the release of Adobe CC. Despite using Adobe software for 10 years, if there were a viable alternative, I would gladly use it now.
5 x this year, I have had to reinstall and waste hours of uneccessary time configuring the software again because insalling the Adobe CC app deletes all serial numbers etc and crashes the applications on launch.
I resent being forced to use an application WITH KNOWN ISSUES to either update my software or install additional features like the extension panel.
I want to swear a lot at Adobe and if there were a representitive in front of me from Adobe, I would struggle not to punch them on the nose for all of my time you are wasting.
Your treatment of customers is disgraceful. Forcing us to trawl through forums to find solutions to SOFTWARE CODING ERRORS by Adobe programmers.
If this were a product (physical) I would have recourse to a refund. But it isn't and you are cheating your customers.
Is there a solution to this known problem yet?
If there is no solution, what is the solution to installing updates for Adobe CC 2014 and additional features like the extension manager and the exchange panel for Adobe CC applications WITHOUT INSTALLING THE CREATIVE CLOUD APPLICATION.

Hello. I do not want a chat session with ‘Adobe’ looking inside my computer as I am perfectly able to apply a solution if there were a solution.
Without the CC app, Adobe software works perfectly. Installing the CC app not only knocks out all the registration details, it crashes the applications on launch.
Adobe have known about this for some time so why hasn’t there been an update that resolves this issue or a work-around.

    I already restarted the desktop app and while I am obviously online and connected the problem (error message) remains the same. Information within the "home" tap is recieved/loaded  (little blue spinning wheel) stating that various apps recently have been updated. Yet the same loading wheel within the "apps" tap results in an error. My best guess is that some internal link within the app is corrupted, leading to a source on a server that can not be reached.
    UPDATE
    I clean uninstalled adobe creative cloud as discribed in the article you provided (using the cleaner tool) and even uninstalled the browser plugin. After downloading and reinstalling creative cloud the problem however remains the same. "Apps" tap still shows the same problem. "Home" tap now displays the following:

  • Adobe Touch App Plug-in for Photoshop CS6

    I need to carry on working on a file from my iPad 3rd Genration inside Photoshop CS6, however it seems a Plug-in is required and the only one I can find is for CS5. Does anybody know if this is currently available

    Summary:
    When I create anything is any of the Adobe Touch Apps (Draw, Line, Comp, Sketch) and then click the "send to Photoshop", "send to Illustrator", or "send to InDesign" (depending on the app/program) the app will say that it has sent but then nothing opens in the desktop programs. That being said, all of the Library apps work perfect and sync as they should (such as Color and Shape)
    What I'm Working With:
    I have the most updated versions of all the touch apps, the updated version of my Mac OS, and I'm on the monthly subscription of the most updated versions of Creative Cloud.
    What I've Tried:
    uninstalled and reinstalled all software and apps
    rebooted the computer and iPad (both hard and soft)
    contacted Adobe Chat
    contacted Mac Support Chat
    What's we (Adobe/Mac) have concluded:
    If I'm logged into this computer with my default admin account the apps will NOT send/sync. If I log into this computer with a different admin account it will send/sync perfectly and all files that were sent will all start opening in the appropriate program.
    When I contacted Adobe and they took control of my computer, they said that this was a Mac profile issue and to contact Mac.
    When I contacted Mac and they took control of my computer, they said that this is not a profile issue and that there is something wrong with the Adobe programs. They recommended that I contact Adobe to see which "plist" files I can delete in order to have them rebuild upon reboot. I have not been able to get home from work in time to get back onto the chat session with Adobe since.
    Adobe/Mac Suggested "workaround":
    log out of my default account and log into my other admin account on this computer when ever I want to work with the Adobe Touch Apps.
    Suggestions?

  • I cannot download Adobe Reader app using my IPod Touch 4th Generation due to iOS upgrade.

    I have an IPod Touch 4th Generation (the older model) and the highest operating system stops at iOS 6.1.6. Unfortunately, when I tried to download Adobe Reader app, it only works for the newer IPod Touch 5th Generation with an operating system of iOS 7.0 or higher. My question is that since I cannot download Adobe Reader app, is there a way for me to open PDF files on my IPod Touch by using Safari? There is no way I can find an Adobe Reader app that works for my operating system or an operating system that works for iOS 6.0 or lower. Is there another program similar to Adobe Reader where I can open PDF files that works for iOS 6.0 or lower?

    Please note that my instructions are intended for Adobe Reader for iOS, not for all iOS apps in general.
    Adobe Reader for iOS does offer earlier compatible versions for iOS 5 and 6 via the App Store.  Because the supported iOS version for Adobe Reader for iOS is 5 or later.

    However, I cannot speak for other apps, such as Costco app and NFL app that you have mentioned.  It is up to each individual app developer/company to decide whether to take advantage of Apple's App Store's features to offer earlier versions.
    Install the latest compatible version of an app on an earlier version of iOS or OS X - Apple Support
    If a compatible version isn't available, you can try contacting the app developer. Look for contact information on the app's product page in the App Store or Mac App Store.

    Im trying to upgrade and then reinstall an Adobe Air application but get the error message failing to install due to a certificate issue.
    The developer says the fix is to uninstall the app and install again but this also fails.

    The adobe AIR uninstaller simply says I have the latest version? Cant seem to delete and reinstall although other adobe air apps work so I dont think this is the issue

    Any ideas would be great.

    I suspect your Mac OS install was an in place upgrade from an earlier version. This is something I would never even consider with a production machine.

    1 Mount the Flash Player installer .dmg file
    2 Copy the "Install Adobe Flash Player" file to desktop or any other directory as preferred
    3 Open terminal and cd to desktop or the other directory
    4 Run the following command on terminal: sudo ./Install\ Adobe\ Flash\ Player.app/Contents/MacOS/Install\ Adobe\ Flash\ Player

    Many of us have encounted this issue. The problem is not confined to a particular version or computer operating. Many homemade remedies and scientific ones have worked for some and not others. The most recent fix was offered by an ID by the name of Maud Barbara and seems to have been the answer for that user and at least one more.

    The application auto-saves your input when you close the document.  If you left the document, as you state, the notes/comments should have been saved and should have been visible the next time you opened the document with the Mobile Reader (note that if you are opening the document with another app such as Apple's built in PDF Viewer, things like notes/comments may not be visible).  Also note that if you are doing an Open In... from another app (like Dropbox), the version of the document in Dropbox does not update; only the version of the document in the Mobile Reader is updated.
