Adobe CC just installed Acrobat DC. PitStop Professional plug-in is not installed in Acrobat DC tools panel. The plug-in is the only thing that exists in my Acrobat 11 folder. Do I need to reinstall? How can I use existing plug-ins from Acrobat 11 in Acrobat DC?

I just imported my Itunes Library to a new laptop from an External HD with Windows 8 but it does not load my playlists on my Iphone? Is this solveable? Would hait to re-build the playlists

My old laptop crashed but I had my Itunes Library backed up to an external HD. I've managed to import my Itunes Library from the HD but none of my old play lists appear on in Itunes. I tried syncing to my Iphone 4S that has the playlists to no avail. Ideas and solutions welcome

The first Mac with Thunderbolt was the Early 2011 MacBook Pro. If you have got a 2010 MacBook Pro, you have got Mini DisplayPort instead of Thunderbolt, which are the same, but Mini DisplayPort can't be used to connect external disks.
To check which MacBook Pro you have, open  > About this Mac > More Info, and you will see the MacBook Pro model. If it's Mid 2010 or older, you haven't got Thunderbolt, so you have to connect the external drive through USB

I just installed Acrobat Standard. Can I delete Adobe Reader?

I would actually go further than what ~graffiti says and make a backup of my system first. The last time I did this (except I uninstalled Acrobat not Reader) it stuffed up my PC properly. There was no problem while I had both installed, it was the uninstall. Alternatively, make Acrobat open everything by default and just ignore your installation of Reader.
I'd be open to correction on this but it shouldn't be using up any more system resources having both than having one because they share the same background processes.

I just installed acrobat 10 on a windows 7 64 bit hp touchsmart 320 PC with 6 GB of RAM. It quits unexpectadly, within 90 seconds of launch, how do i fix this?

I just installed Acrobat 10 standard.
The program unexpectedly quits shortly after launch.
I downloaded the latest patch from adobe and it continues to crash.
Any thoughts or solutions?
I ws not running other programs when this happened and memory was at 38% consumption.

> Disable all the Antivirus softwares like CA, Norton,Mc Afee etc. temporarily from the computer.
Reboot and try installing in the new enabled Admin user account and check.

I've just installed acrobat reader 11 I can't use it: Impossible to click on any button no reaction

I installed the last acrobat reader 11 version last wenesday.
I lauched it, all seems OK.
Since yesterday, I try to use it again but impossible to interact with the opened window or pop up, nothing happen.
I ty to click on button, menu items lift, ot popup button nothing happen.
Acrobat standard 9 work fine but impossible to use the reader 11.

After rebooting several time my computer it seems the problem disappereared.
Before sending you this answer, I make a test and again, I have the problem.
I have probably a conflick with a working application on my computer.
I use 11.0.1.36 version of Acrobat reader with a windows XP workstation
I will make other tests to try to obtain additional information.

On my laptop when I open up a pdf file and do a search for a particular
text phrase it prompts me to run a character analysis. Whereas on my mac
mini, when I try to engage the same process it just says it couldn't find
the phrase and doesn't even try and run a character analysis. I tried
clicking on the tool bar and the recognize text tab but nothing there seems
to do anything.
In trying to figure out the issue on my own I noticed one thing. I run a
small law firm in St. Louis and I scan in all my files to which are
subsequently emailed to my outlook account where I will save them as pdf's
to their respective folders. On my laptop when I open up an email from my
scanner I see the image of a acrobat document next to the attachment
paperclip symbol. However, when I open up the same email on my mac mini I
notice instead of an acrobat file image it shows a Preview file image (the
program used to open up pdf's before I installed acrobat).

How do I get Acrobat XI pro on a Mac to work fully, and not just act like Acrobat Reader. i just paid and downloaded it, entered new serial number when requested, but when I open a .pdf I have no pro features showing (such as editing tools, convert to powerpoint, etc). I use XI pro on a windows PC and have no problem there.

Perfect answer. And I feel a bit dumb (should have worked it out, but still finding my way round the Mac). Many thansk for the help.

Where are RUG Downloads stored from ZLM Server

In a ZLM environment used for patching SLES 10 and OES for Linux servers, if I run "rug -d" to just download new patches, where are the files actually getting downloaded to?

by default they are stored in /var/cache/zmd/web before they are installed.
So I think you will find it there in. That cache directory can be set as a rug parameter. I guess you will not have modified it, but you can check it using this command:
# rug get cache-directory

Is this the mac app store version? A number of people are having this problem. This is what adobe recommended in the past for fixing the problem, but as far as I know it doesn't work in Yosemite:

I doubt that the W-4 has a submit button. If you are using Reader XI (actually the topic of the Reader forum, not this one), you should be able to save it and then print and deliver. If it is set to be submitted by the browser, then it may be your Reader and the browser are not talking properly. If there is a generic URL that you can provide that has the W-4, we might be able to give you more info. A lot depends on what your particular form looks like. Hand carrying it should always be an option.
