Adobe CFC Generator error

... trying my hardest to make the CFC Generator work in CFB 3 but my error logs are filled with errors. The one in particular:
Failed to install extension Adobe CFC Generator.zip -Directory "Adobe CFC Generator" already exists at install location

I uninstalled/reinstalled CFB 3 but I can not locate the directory on my machine where the previous Adobe CFC Generator already exists.
Could this be an error with the installer/uninstaller?

Open the Extension view: Window > Show View > Other > Extensions (under ColdFusion)
In the Extension view select the Extension and then use the "view Details" button to get the location of the Extension.
In my case this is C:\ColdFusionBuilder3\ColdFusion\cfusion\wwwroot\Adobe CFC Generator
I am not sure if the extension is really working properly in CFB3 btw. (could not figure out how to define relations, etc.)

With ColdFusion Builder 2, CFC Generator was intended to be removed.However mistakenly, CFC Generator was removed only partially.
If you want to use:
Plesae download it from: http://adobecfcgenerator.riaforge.org/
Or If you have ColdFusion Builder 1 or ColdFusion Builder 2 Beta installation:
You can take it from <ColdFusion Builder 1 or ColdFusion Builder 2 Beta Install Dir>\extensions and deploy it to your server instead of using the incorrectl installed CFC Generator.

ORM CFC Generator error

I'm trying to get Coldfusion Builder's ORM CFC Generator to build my cfcs but when I click the Generate button after setting my table relationships I get the following error:
Error : Event handler exception.. coldfusion.runtime.CfJspPage$ParameterNotFoundException: The required parameter SESSION.ORMTABLES was not provided.
I have an Application.cfc with sessionManagement=true, name is set, ormenabled is true and ormsettings specs a database.
What am I missing?

I have been trying to cretae cfc code for flash builder in coldfusion builder, i have install the adobe ORM CFC Generator in preferences and have it set up on local host, the local host is created on a user directory, cold fusion server and builder all work well and i can also read databse tables from an external mysql server.
However when i to use the RDS Dataview and when I right click and table to create an ORM CFC .. it asks me for the CFC location .. I choose a folder that's in my project and a new window comes up with an error the requested url/adobe CFC Generator/"/handlers/ormCFCGenerator.cfm was not found on this server.

Adobe CFC Generator not showing up Coldfusion beta 2

Im running the new coldfusion beta 2 connecting to a remote server.
For some reason when i right click on the a table in the RDS Dataview Im not getting the "Adobe CFC Generator" option.
Any one else having the same problem?

It shows up on my localhost running mySQL and CF9 and OS X 10.5.8
however the generator FAILs.
The generator opens a window with...
a title of: "Adobe CFC Generator"
a header with: "Create ORM CFC"
a body of...
Enter location for CFC* [__________] (Browse)
Script CFC? [_]
a footer with.... (Cancel) ( ok )
After setting the directory it opens a new window with...
a title of: "Adobe CFC Generator"
a header with: "Create ORM CFC"
an empty body area -- all white --

CFC generator not working - CFB beta 3

I can't get the CFC Generator to work in Beta 3. I didn't find a new extension so I imported the one from the previous beta. The options appear and produce the message box asking where to put the cfc's but nothing is generated.
Can someone help?

Update - I uninstalled and re-installed again - then unistalled the generator that was there and re-installed the Adobe CFC Generator.zip that I had downloaded last Sept. (I couldn't find any newer extensions on the download site.) Now the vanilla CFC generator works but the ORM still doesn't work and I don't get the option for script version.

Orm generator work but not 'vanilla' cfc generator

I just reinstalled the cfc generator and can generate the orm cfc's without problems but get nothing if I select 'create CFC' instead of 'create ORM CFC' - I need a non-orm solution for a curren project - is anyone else having this problem?

Reading the bolt.log did the trick - I had used an Access database instead of MySQL and the error reads that the option doesn't work for Access. There is no problem with MySQL. Is there any documentation for CFBuilder beyond the help file?

CFC Generator doesn't create anything?

Ok, this is baffeling me! We have Coldfusion Builder installed as a plugin to FlashBuilder. I have the CFC generator extension installed. When I right-click on a table in my RDS view and select "Create CFC" It prompts me for a location. Location relative to what??? I've tried a couple of different times with what seemed like appropriate location paths but nothing gets generated. I get no errors and no files open like they did in FlexBuilder 3. That extension was MUCH better!
Also, in the Extensions panel the CFC Generator still shows that is a Beta version. Is there a fully release and tested version? Any help is greatly appreciated.

As I mentioned earlier, CFC generator is just an extension that is based on extension framework provided by CF Builder. There are some interesting CFC generators that CF community folks have written that you can install in CF builder and use.

Error: NFS3ERR_NOENT -   This is by design of OneFS, we coalesce files and then flush them out to disk which is why the commit time is accurate but the file is not immediately available. however when an async option is used within the mount options this should be avoided if writing asynchronously to the cluster. Has anyone else seen this behavior lately? (current workaround is to store locally and transfer to the cluster via Finder)

That error can happen for many reasons...one of the reasons that I occassionaly get it is because I try exporting a movie to an external drive that has been formated in the old FAT32 instead of the NTSF standard. FAT32 only allows for file sizes up to 2 gigs. And as soon as it reaches that...I would get that error. I don't know if that is why you are getting that error...but it would be easy to check. 1) are you generating a file that is over 2 gigs? 2) is your drive that you are exporting to FAT 32 (just right click the drive in My Computer and select "properties" then just look for what it says next to "file system".

Adobe Reader Updqte Error 1500 Win 7 64-bit

PC is running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
While on Adobe Reader 9.3.1, I received a prompt that indicated an update was available. The update failed, error 1500.
I rebooted and tried again. Same error. I rebooted a second time into Safe Mode with networking. That consistently produced error 1400, although the networking was functioning properly.
After each Error 1500 I ran the Adobe repair utility as advised. No errors there, but each subsequent update still generated Error 1500.
I consulted Adobe's support page http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/332/332507.html. First I tried Solution 2—no change, the update still generated error 1500. Then I tried Solution 1, but the Registry does not contain setting \Inprogress under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer as the solution indicated.
I uninstalled Adobe Reader completely and reinstalled it from the Adobe.com site (which took me back to release 9.3.0, because the Adobe Reader download file has not been updated as would be best practice!). After doing this, updates still generated error 1500.
With both Vista and Windows 7 64-bit versions, I have experienced more update errors with Adobe Reader than with numerous other complex products that I run on this machine. Please advise how I should resolve this problem, which I suspect may be related to the 64-bit version of Windows. None of these problems occurred on an XP machine.

I don't know if this article was written solely for 32-bit systems. I do not currently have a 64-bit system, and I also have not very much prior experience with Windows x64.
Still, I would like to try to help find a solution for this problem. Can you check if this key is somewhere else in your registry, e.g. under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WOW6432node or similar?

When I save as a PowerPoint file to PDF and open it with Adobe Reader, the following message pop up:
“An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem.”
When I open the same PDF file in Foxit Reader, I can read it perfectly. Unfortunately, I need my PDF files are read in Acrobat Reader because my clients.
This problem started around 2 months ago. Before that I didn’t have any problem using the same software.
Could you please help me with this problem? I am using Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2007 and Adobe Reader X (10.1.2)

I was having the same problem - Save as PDF would appear to work fine but the PDF file had just a few items from the Master Slide and all the pages were identical. None of the individual page content was visible.
I viewed the master slide and selected all the objects and deleted them. Then the save as PDF worked great. Using process of elimination I found that two wavy line shapes were all I had to delete from the master slide for the PDF to generate correctly. Looking at the object properties I could not find anything unique or "offensive" that would cause the error.
We got the template from Microsoft Office Online.

Please clean AAM cache By deleting following folder contents:
For Mac:
· /Volumes/%Volume Name%/Users/%Username%/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0
For Win:
· C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0
Then try running Updates.

Cant upload extentions - ORM CFC Generator

Hi there
Having problems trying to install the ORM CFC Generator and wondered if anyone can assist..
In CF Builder I am clicking windows in the navigation bar, then preferences, then coldfusion, then extenstions, as shown in this demo http://blogs.adobe.com/cfbuilder/attachments/CFCGenerator4.htm
However, instead of getting the extensions tab, with all the options, all i can see is a checkbox with "user Mozilla browser for extensions"..

We have added a new view for working with Extensions. You can open it by Window->Show View ->Other ->ColdFusion->Extensions.
There is a plus button available in the Extensions view which you can use to install Extensions.
