Adobe cirrus and multiple video streams

Hello!
Actually, I would like to know - is there a way from one machine to publish two or more video streams, creating the necessary number of connections and cells (with different qualities)?
At the moment, this trick does not work, but I am using a developer key for multiplesimultaneous connections, with returns only the last published data stream.
I would be very grateful for the clarification!

That's actually exactly how I have it, I just added an extra option so you can, in theory, switch between the two versions on the fly.
In the track viewer both video streams are the exact same length, the only issue is when I switch the video angles. I guess I could just erase the second video stream and avoid the problem altogether (don't want that showing up in my final school project now do I), but I really want to figure this out.

What the client is asking for is PiP (Picture in Picture), and Colin has outlined the method for creating the PiP.
I also find it easiest, when doing a lot of PiP work, to use alignment grids, to help me with both the Scaling and the Position. This ARTICLE goes into a bit more detail. For PiP, I will usually create a custom alignment grid, similar to this:

Multiple video streams displayed on separate monitors

I'm working on a project that will have 6 screens showing 6 different pieces running simultaneously. We'll be cutting all 6 pieces in FCP, but i was wondering if there is anyway to view multiple video streams on 6 different displays running at the same time in FCP? Obviously some sort of display hub or router needs to be had, or perhaps some other hardware/software.
Anyone have any great ideas?

My old video professor from school did a lot of video installations. He often had trouble keeping multiple DVD players in sync with one another, they would drift over time. If you are thinking about the DVD player route, make sure you're using the exact same model for each player, and make sure to run tests over a long period of time.
Of course, using an external genlock would probably prevent that, too.

Is it possible to record from multiple video streams using iMovie.
I want to record a presenter on a greenscreen and also his powerpoint slides at the same time and cut from one to other.
Can imovie record from screen and camera at same time?
If so is there a link to somewhere explaining how to do so?
If not, what is the most efficient way to do so, without having to learn a whole complex program?

I will ask if they get logged into the global zone, but one thing I forgot to mention is that this zone (as are all our non-global zones and the global zone also) are configured for ldap logins.
Assuming that they can even try to login to the global zone, can they even see the directory structure in the non-global zone (sorry, I haven't worked with Zones much thus far) from the global zone?
Also, if they can see the non-global zones directory structure, what should they then try?
Also, I've been searching and I've seen some suggestions of running a "pkgcheck -af" which might restore the directory permissions to what the various packages expect. Assuming that they can get to the point that they can at least log into the zone, is that something that would work?
I'm setting up a new test Solaris box now, with a zone, to try to reproduce the problem. If I can reproduce the problem, I'll post back whether or not I see the same thing.
In the meantime, if anyone has any suggestions, please post them.

P.S. In case you're wondering, the box/zone that got messed up was a test/integration zone, and they were in the process of installing some software when this chmod happened.

The Flashplayer does not support h264 or AAC publishing. The Flashplayer supports only h.263 (sorenson spark) video, and Nellymoser Asao and Speex audio.
If you want to publish h.264 you'll need to use Flash Media Live Encoder, or a third party encoder.

Choppy and stuttering video streaming on FF but works perfect on Chrome

I use both FIrefox and Chrome together and although I love almost everything about firefox, what frustrates me the most is the constantly lagging video streaming. I have the latest Firefox version (ver 26) and the hardware acceleration is disabled. The videos even in multiple tabs will run perfectly smoothly in chrome but if I try n run even 2 or more videos in firefox, it will start hanging and the video will start stuttering. Any way this can be remedied?

I'm assuming this is creating compatibility issues. That's probably why you're lagging. Follow the instructions listed http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html#main_Download_the_Adobe_Flash_Player_uninstaller from Adobe's website.
Note: You may have to reinstall Flash by going to www.get.adobe.com/flashplayer.

Multiple Video Streams not synced

Long story short;
I have a track with two video streams or angles. They are the exact same in terms of timecode down to the last frame (it's basically the same video but one stream has a color filter for visual effect).
My problem is this: whenever I switch between the two videos, the second video is not synced with the audio. It seems to be a few seconds off, and I'm hoping to get this issue resolved. The first video stream is synced properly regardless, but it's just the second stream that isn't working properly.
If it makes any difference, I'm using .m2v video format and only one audio stream. Anybody have any ideas?

What is it like to edit HD with FCE4 and multiple video tracks

I would like to get an idea of what it's like to edit HD on final cut express on an Intel based Power MAC (let's say 2.8GHZ with a large hard drive and 4mb of memory)
If one was to have 4 video tracks and a track of green screen with various transitions ( 4 minutes of video)
I really can't get a handle on this when reading the threads and forums.
When I hear people say I have no trouble editing HD on an Intel 2.8 power MAC, I often wonder that may be the case if you are editing one track of video, but what about multiple tracks, transitions and green screen layers?
If anyone is doing this on FCE with an Intel based Power MAC, I'd like to hear what you are experiencing. I know it;s different for everyone but I'd like to hear some examples and times

Four streams of video with effects can be handled by FCE using Unlimited RT, but it does depend on the computer and the drives. The internal drive of an iMac for instance would be hard pressed to do this without a lot of stuttering on playback. A fast external drive like a RAID would be needed to get good performance.

Capturing multiple video streams into a movie file

I am using QTKit to capture 3 media streams simultaneously: audio, video, and display (display is screen capture), and would like to capture them in a time-synchronized fashion to a single .mov file.
I have been able to successfully capture these three streams to 2 separate .mov files by using 2 QTCaptureSessions (one for audio/video, one for display video), but the problem here is that the 2 files are not time-synchronized (I have no idea how to synch them after the fact).
The more intuitively correct thing to do is to use a single QTCaptureSession instance with 3 inputs (2 video inputs and one audio) to do the capture, which should automatically synch all the streams. Furthermore, since the .mov file can support an arbitary number of streams, I figured wiring up the QTCaptureSession to output to a single .mov file would be easy. I was wrong.
The problem is that even though my QTCaptureSession has 3 nice input connections (2 video and 1 audio), when I wire up a QTCaptureMovieFileOutput to it, the resulting QTCaptureMovieFileOutput object has ONLY 2 connections: a single video and a single audio.
Here is snippets of what I am doing:

I desperately need help....my questions:
1. Since QTCaptureSession supports arbitary inputs, and QTMovie supports arbitrary # of streams, I can't believe it's not possible for me to simply "hook" all the inputs of QTCap to output connections that will write to streams in one movie file. Clearly, QTCaptureMovieFileOutput is not doing this...can anyone tell me how to do this? This can't be hard, right?
2. If I have to fall back on the ridiculous approach of capturing 2 unsynchronized .mov files and somehow synching them after the fact, can anyone provide a pointer on how to do that?

Adobe reader and the video card

We are experiencing an issue on a couple of PC's with a pdf created in Adobe Pro 9. It appears that when the PDF is opened the video graphics card is affected. Colors and images do not display properly. The only resolve is to remove the PDF document causing the problem. Has anyone had this same issue and how did you resolve it?

I'm not sure that I follow. Are you saying that when you open a PDF file in Acrobat or Reader, that the display resolution changes automatically on your system?
What version of Acrobat/Reader are you using? Do you see this same issue in other files/applications?

ATV and Air Video Streaming stopped working

I have been using AIR VIDEO (Standard and HD Version) for months now flawlessly, no issues at all, until the other day any of my devices (iPhones and iPads) will only stream to my ATV's for a few seconds then they cut off and jump back to home screen and the contact starts playing on the device again.
All my devices can see the ATV's no problems there
I am using Air Video Server on a Mavericks iMac and i have iP5, and iP1 (Original), iPad Mini, and also iPad Air - all same problem occurring.
I use the Air Video APP On any of those devices and the same problem occurs.
I've tried so far:
Uninstall AV Server and the APPS on the Devices
Reset and Restart the ATV's (i have ATV2 and ATV3 by the way)
Anyone having the same issues?
Could this be Firmware on the ATVs have updated and not allowing this now?
Can i restore the ATV' back to an older Firmware?
They both currently say they are up to date and running the latest software,
Any help much appreciated....

could also be network problems
I would try connecting a mac and the appletv by enthernet cable to the router and if it dont have any problems then I would know it was the wifi which was getting interference from another wifi network or other things which operate on the same frequencies (2.4Ghz which is used for wifi apart from 5Ghz is a very very very busy frequency)

Netflix and amazon video streaming won't load

My netflix site wont stream video. I am getting a black screen with a rotating blue circle. The same case if I want to stream amazon videos. If I log out and use another user on the same computer (iMac) it works fine. I did reinstall silverlight, but since the second user account works I ruled that out in anycase. This problem happens on all browsers. I have stripped safari of add -ons with no luck. I have also disabled start up apps, no luck. Any suggestions?

What is different about the 'second user' account, from the admin or first user?
Is it a matter of browser setting, upgrade to browser, a default
still in effect, in a seldom used second user account?
In these details alone, probably is an answer.
Or a permissions issue, privileges issue, etc.
How current are shared plugins for internet?
Are the videos using Flash, or HTML5, other?
Is there a system log in Profiler, or Console
that would show a set of messages about it?
There has to be a trail of breadcrumbs....
maybe one that regular people can follow.
Sometimes cold trails are best for sniffy dogs.

Rentals and airplay video streaming not working after 4.3 update

I just updated my appletv and iphone to 4.3.
Since then everytime I rent a video and try play it I get "an error has been encountered"
I get this as well when I try stream a video from my iphone 4 to my Apple tv.
Anyone has a solution?
